I come to this store relatively often for various needs and 9 out of 10 times am met warmly and treated with great customer service! Mary is usually who is there when I am and she’s always been a great help!
Lynn, an old woman, was extremely rude to me this afternoon. I walked in with an Amazon return and asked if masks were still required. She gave me a response in a very sarcastic tone “well I’m wearing one aren’t I?” So I responded yea but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m required to. “Yes it does!” She tells me looking me up and down with judgement. I have tattoos and I’m 1/3 of her age so you can tell this influenced why she treat me so poorly. I told her to not judge a book by it’s cover and that all I was asking was a simple yes or no question. She became very defensive. I have been a customer here for years. I will never come to this location again.

Mark and his team at UPS did a fantastic job shipping some family heirlooms cross-country to me in California. Among the items was an antic desk of my grandfathers that is very sentimental. A special box was designed to ship it and UPS did such a marvelous job as everything was perfectly in tact. I would recommend UPS to all! Thank you UPS for your help and professionalism!

Always a quick and simple experience. I send packages from here all the time and Ive never had a problem. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Theyll give you recommendations if you have any questions. The store is a bit small, but theyre rarely busy. The holidays can be difficult here, but any other time its fine.
I just had the worst experience of my life at an ups store in wethersfield, ct. I tried to ship some medication to my brother in law in PA, and was trying to ascertain the quickest way to get him his needed medication, as he has one day left. I was consistently being told there are no guarantees, but I could pay for the more expensive service. As Im talking with the CSR at the counter, another employee starts laughing when I ask why there are no guarantees. I explained that I didnt deserve to be laughed at when he got very elevated very quickly. I asked for his name and role at that branch. I believe he said his name was joe, but he was the owner. I asked for his business card and he slammed a piece of paper in front of me. I told him I didnt want that, as I didnt want to touch more things in the store than I needed to, I asked for his business card. At that point he told me to get out, he wasnt shipping anything for me. I leave the store and him and another guy follow me out to the parking lot and start yelling at me. The other person (early to mid 40s dark hair male) starts yelling at me clearly within the 6 social distancing mandate without a mask on. He explains to me that he is the operations manager, and then tells me to hit him as it will ruin my day. I dont expect to be treated like that by anybody, let alone a business owner or operations manager. I am still shocked at the treatment I received at that store. I believe the store number is 5136.I also sent a complaint to the customer service also, as this was the advisement of the police department. I called the police department as soon as I got home.
I waited in line for almost 20 minutes only to have the person behind me taken next. She walked up and decided, instead of drop off, she wanted a receipt. When I said, I was next, the clerk argued with me and said, no you were not. She saw me standing there? Thats not good customer service. Do not recommend.Wow, now I see the owners responses to other reviews. Just say, sorry, we will try to do better.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this location on a few occasions and I have to admit the customer service is deff above and beyond. I once went to the Avon ups store but they seemed Racist their and hoped my experience here would be different. I will deff come back very nice people just a little understaffed that’s all it’s not fair 2 people doing the work of 3. Hire another worker please!
About 2 weeks ago i went in to my local UPS store in Wethersfield Ct to return an amazon package (free return). I have been returning packages there for many years. The person at the cash register was visibly in a bad mood. I handed him my package and emailed the label to his computer (as i have in the past) he proceeded to charge me $2.20. I told them its a free return with a prepaid label and i shouldnt be charged anything. Come to find out the email i sent him cost $2 and the 2 papers cost 20 cents. Which he did not advise me of before charging me. As i was talking to him the owner nods her head and says its Ok we got it and youre all set. I say thank you and walk out. 2 weeks later im still waiting for my package to be sent. With amazon return when the ups store scans your package you receive an email notification that the item is being shipped out of their facility. I never got that and i knew something was fishy right away. I CALLED AMAZON AND THEY BASICALLY SAID THE ITEM NEVER LEFT THE UPS STORE. Went back to the store twice to resolve it and nothing. They say they dont have the package and they dont know where it is. So at the ups store in Wethersfield, you can be in a bad mood and proceed to not send a costumers package. So basically stealing.
I went to have a document notarized and Lynn totally screwed it up so I had to get another form to get notarized.
The staff is positive and friendly. My package went missing in transit but the staff in the store was on top of it and they called me to once it showed up there, which made my experience more hassle-free.
Have had wonderful experience with this store especially your employee Mary she is great and always happy to help I recently sent a package and my computer was not working Mary was more than happy to track my package
Store does not open on time! Standing outside 15 minutes after opening and still no staff at this location! They have a now hiring sign posted maybe they want to get on that a little faster
Terrible service very rude.....bald headed guy in weathersfeild was rude...he was on phone with his wife or girlfriend while we waited for him to help us, Terrible service.....I brought my baby yorky in the store with me in my arms and he rudely says u can’t bring dogs in store......he should have said it nicely but no.....He has a power trip.....I will never go to that store again.....And he shouldn’t make customers wait while he’s on a phone call with his wife....this happened at 1pm today.......November 17

I handed over the package on 28th morning but the tracking id was create in the 30th evening. Although the destination was around 5 miles apart, they took 3 days just to make sure they will not deliver early ?? No professionalism !!!
