One of the nicest Targets Ive been in. Store was fully stocked,clean, nicely organized. Staff was friendly and helpful, checkout was a breeze. Easy parking in City Center lot.
Cleanliness and attitude of employees - you can tell they enjoy working there, which makes me happy to shop there.
White Plains Target always seems to be improving and changing every few months I visit. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, they have tons of items on sale, and its a great place to buy things you werent even planning on getting. Its a nice alternative to other stores in the area where you might not be able to get everything or have to go to more than one store. I look forward to shopping there whenever I get the chance.
I mostly do order pickup because I don’t have time sometimes to look around and yesterday when I went to pickup there was this one girl that had a nasty attitude. I get it I work as a cashier I know it can be irritating sometimes but she was rude. She said something like “ you guys can’t be here” to these 2 people with a baby in the stroller when she got out to give the orders to people who came to pickup. I remember once I said “hi how are you” and she completely cut me off didn’t say anything and went on to give me my order.
Guy at the checkout line is the man. Love his enthusiasm. Made the experience enjoyable. Always appreciate people who make the best of their time spent. Other than that, pretty typical by target standards. Come to expect much higher quality than Walmart, etc.
Ive gone to 3 separate targets for one item and this is the 2nd one that lied and said they had it. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, the price has since gone up 10 bucks (was on sale) lol. Basically a bait and switch strategy to get people to go buy other stuff from their store. Awful
What made my order so easy, I don’t live far from Target. 5 minute walk. I order the item on the app, paid for it and received a email telling me it was ready for pickup within half an hour. The order was ready when I got to the store. Wait time less than five minutes. Easy. Great service.
I was able to find my items with ease. The cashier was friendly and courteous.
The store is clean, organized and the prices are good.
Its a hit or miss with this one. They should really hire more workers because the lines are usually very long, and they run out of thing very quickly.

Its Important to have shopping carts available for your customers. I waited around and waited around for a shopping cart. I wanted 2 shop. The attendant was very nice as I had a brief meltdown because there werent any shopping carts.
It was very easy to purchase online for store pickup. Both of my products became unavailable so I was given the next best option at the original price, which was better then what I had originally ordered! Staff was very friendly, too!
This target had the TV I was looking to purchase in stock. When the one I took out of the box had some damage, I returned to Target to swap out the TV. The staff was very helpful with the exchange and understanding of my situation. Sam, Francis, and Evan helped me get the right TV, conducted my transaction, took it out to my car with me, and helped me load it into my vehicle. When I need another TV, I will happily return to this Target.
One-stop shopping, reasonable prices, loyalty rewards, not crowded. Helpful staff.
I do shipt orders at this store and this store is terrible. It is so hard to find things because the store is a mess and so unorganized. Most of the employees are all so unhelpful and just walk around and talk and never want to help. Even alot of the managers are really rude and dont want to help. There are a few amazing employees though that always help me find things like sam from the household section and steven from the food section, this store doesnt deserve the two of them.
To start I tried to post my review on targets store site buy they limit what u can write and I wanted to ensure that everyone knows how bad my shopping experence was shopping at target yesterday. I went into target knowing what I wanted to purchase. I checked online for a store pick up but the option was not available but the inventory was. There was 3 units in stock. I went in to pick up the item and I was not on the shelf. Started looking for help couldnt find nobody and became frustrated and left. Decided I realy wanted the product so went back to see if I could get help, nothing/nobody. Then I went to customerservice and they said go to the department. Went back to the department walked around for another 15min, then just decided to ask someone from another department for help. The only bright spot of this experence was the guy who helped me because he found the item I 5min after I asked him for help. I whish I got his name to at least give him a good review for being the one good thing about this experience. It took me 45 min to get a $4 toy that took 5 min to locate.
Definitely the best store to shop in White Plains. You can find a great selection of products for yourself and for your house. Not to mention their good taste regarding stores layout and products design that makes our shopping experience more enjoyable.
They have actually cleaned this store up alot. I only wish they would have more cashiers
For the most part, when I do need something specific or a certain item that other stores would not have, Target usually covers for that. Also, you all are doing a great job keeping the store stock, during these hard times dealing with a world pandemic.
The staff here is great but the wait is ridiculous. I spent over 30 minutes on line.
I love Target because of the great selection of foods, clothing, and Lego sets. The only thing that bothers me is the crowds but that cannot be changed.
May be the slowest target I have been to. Line at electronics no one around even after they where called for. Go to front to have clerk move like the sloth in Zootopia. Look around same at rest of the registers.

I couldn’t say nice enough things about the staff. Their behavior is an echo of their management team and the excellent example they set forth.WHITE PLAINS PICKUP STAFF, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I loved the fact that the Order Pickup was right at the entrance. Most other stores make you walk all the way to the back. Sooo convenient.
Alex was so helpful . Was extremely tired so shopping today was becoming a real chore Searching for an item and a young man whose name tag read Alex saw me and approached me to inquire if I needed any help.That really meant a lot to me,he was so pleasant and helped me locate the item and completely turned my day around. Its staff like this That keeps me coming back to keep me coming back to this Target.Keep up the good work.!!!
Customer service especially the cashier person that attended us today was genuinely pleasant and friendly, which makes for a better outdoor shopping experience. One small thing that she did that I really appreciated, listening to others speak through these face masks makes it difficult to understand, she spoke at a acceptable louder tone, making communication very easy!
Definitely the worst Target I have been to.1. They have only one handicap mobile cart available and the majority of the time its never available.2. The fact that Walmart and Toys r us was in the same area and is out of business should make them step up their game in the toy department. Unfortunately its terribly under stocked.3. From my experience the staff at customer service is not very helpful4. No free parking

From the time I ordered online to the time my pick up was extremely fast. During Covid having Pick up is great option. I saw employees social distancing. There was hand sanitizer available at the pick up counter. All staff I saw was wearing the proper face covering and wearing them correctly. I saw staff wiping down carts and baskets.
I would have given a 10 because I was happy with everything except for the fact that I brought an item was charged for it but did not receive it. I must have called the store 50 times but can never get someone on the phone. I dont know what to do about this matter. Maybe you can help?
What a disappointment of a store. No one picked up a phone no matter what department I called or how many times I called and they cancelled my order without notifying me.
This location was a 45-minute drive from where I was staying (business travel) and despite their on-line guarantee that the item I needed was available in that store, neither 3 nor helpful staff could find it. 3-stars because the store otherwise was nice, and the staff tried to help.
I love Target... but recently I was shipt shopping team members were unloading freight and their carts were everywhere making it hard for me to move around in babies... after all of that when it was time for me to check out my prepaid orders I stood around with a cart of product for 10 whole mins while two team members were gossiping right in front of me. I couldn’t stand around and listen to all of that so I finally said is this where I check out for shipt?can you call someone to check me out and that’s another story... first and last time in the store. I won’t be returning
A clean, bright, well-designed store with a good choice of brand-named and their own brand of goods.
Last two time in this place were horrible. I got the same person, young light skin guy, about 25 year old with a horrible attitude. Today 08/30, I went to returned something around 1:20pm. After I waited on the line, he skipped me and took another customer. He called next I approached, he was joking around took him 5 minutes to do my return. He went to the back to another 5 minutes and realized he did the wrong transaction. Still not paying attention and having an attitude. On top of it want to charge full price for something on sale, want to argued with me about the price. I just left because his customer skill are sucks.

I love the prices but Im very concerned about prices there that is why I asked the question but furthermore I like the place it is very nice inside I dont remember going there as a kid but I did go there somewhat in my life.

8 hours after leaving my local Target, I looked at the receipt and saw that the clerk didnt refund one of the items I returned. I only returned two but she forgot the second item, which was $39.99 + tax. I called the store and selected guest services (2) and then a second time for all other callers (8) but no one answers. How do I prove I returned two items? I remember the clerk was at the register in the middle, she wore a white mask and said her shift at the desk was over at 2pm. I was there at 1:50pm today.
The lady who got my product was very nice and polite.
Super fast with their service, very rare for Target stores. They usually take their time. Glad I came here and will come back.
1 star for the customers, every-time I go theres some middle aged person throwing a temper tantrum but Ill give 5 stars for the employees putting up with it.

I would like to give major kudos to all the workers at Target in White Plains during this trying time. Not only were they organized and professional but remained courteous to customers even at times where I imagine it was difficult. To the shoppers I would just implore us all to be a little more patient, and have a little more gratitude. Remember we are lucky to still have conveniences. So if you have to wait a little long for your bananas or there is a misunderstanding because everyone is wearing masks and cant all be heard, take a breath and remember how lucky you are.
I found everything i was looking for. There were a lot of employees helping customers in every area, keeping the lines, directing people to the cashiers. It was a great experience. The store looked very cleaned and organized. VERY happy going there today!

Target has been, for years, the absolute best store in White Plains. They have risen to heroic status during the pandemic. And I’m very grateful for their employees and service
Although I go there quite often I havent encountered a bad experience. I did pick up an online order. I asked the cashier if the item didnt fit in the car would they be able to hold it until the next day he informed me that you guys dont hold items. Please take into consideration that if an item does not fit in the car and your unable to take it with you. You guys should provide a 24 hour day window for pick up.
Well managed, fairly well stocked, staff seems pretty enthusiastic and helpful. Self check-out line was pretty quick and it was great to see staff cleaning between customers.

Came here last night 10/25 for the first time, looks like your typical Target, big, discounted retail, as compared to other stores anyway, I wanted to buy some Listerine and found four of the same one I wanted outdated and expired from 9/19 and 10/19, so as a result I wasnt able to buy it! Luckily one of the stock employees I was nice to check the stockroom if they had extra which they didnt ! I give the store the three stars though as they have a good pricing vs other retail, clearance selection which im big on however I didnt find anything I really needed tonight and the stock person was friendly and apologized for the expired Listerine.
Order and pick up were super quick also found the products were cheaper!
I really like this Target and the employees are very friendly and helpful with the exception of one particular employee named Alex. He is just down right RUDE. He has such a condescending attitude and treats some customers like myself with no respect. He needs to be trained properly in customer service.
Variety of products sold. Beautiful store design. Employees could be a little happier, but overall, one of my favorite places to shop. I am a Target and not a Kohls.
Poor selections in the womens department of the White Plains location. The sections barely had anything. Also things were disorganized and messy. The ladies room was disgusting. The only good thing was a saleswoman provided excellent help and even walked with me to the areas I needed. During check out the cashier refused to listen when I told her the pajamas I was trying to purchase were a two piece set. I was exhausted and not feeling well so I didnt argue and left with only the bottom piece. When I returned home I saw clearly on the receipt that it was indeed a set and the pants part that I left with had $0.00 as a price. Now I have to travel all the way back to get the top part and hope I get decent customer service. When I did cashier work I would verify what a customer told me before saying no to something, and I would never have had such a dismissive attitude.

Really the only Target I frequent, but I have been to many.Layout is good, except for the customer service area, which is far too small.Usually well stocked. Always clean.So why only 3 stars?Service.They are almost always short handed, especially the checkout lines and customer service.Ive actually called the store on occasion while waiting to checkout to tell them to get more cashiers on the floor.Ordering online and picking up in-store is an even worse experience. I would have saved time getting the item myself and waiting on a checkout line.Staff on the floor are helpful, when you can find one. You need to find one of the red phones, next to the price checkers, which there are not nearly enough of. Case and point: There is not a single price-check station in the entire right-front quadrant of the store (electronics & music).
I requested $20 cash back on charge machine and forgot I did. Cashier ran out to front door of store to alert me that I forgot to take the $20. She sent someone out to give it to me. I would have just walked out without it.
I called the store to make sure they had a product in stock I was looking for. I was transferred to an associate on the floor that said she had it but went to MAKE SURE they had it on the shelf to give me the most accurate information. My product (Bon Ami Cleaner) was indeed in stock and saw an associate in the store who asked me if I had called and introduced herself as the associate I spoke with on the phone. I thanked her in person. What wonderful customer service, I really appreciate employees that take pride in their work and actually care.
I love the new layout of the store. Great employees. Now if we could just get the wine happy hour going...
I liked this store a lot more before they reconfigured the layout of the store. I enjoyed frequent shopping trips more and now some sections are even smaller including their Dollar Spot which is a let down and it was always a go to for me. Dont even get me started on the no leniency return policy they have. On a positive note, their home section is awesome; its probably my fave section after the change in layout. The best change is the relocation of the customer service area. The worst is that advertised merchandise is not always found in-store. And I never have cell service or even connection to the stores wifi.
I think it’s gotten better because now they have a Starbucks and when you need help you just need to ask and they will give you the most excellent service for you. And I also love how now you get the Online target to shop as well
Convenient and easy
One of the ‘dumpier’ Targets I’ve been to... The main problem seems to be the customers: some people who shop here are very comfortable leaving garbage on the shelves, putting empty food containers and Starbucks cups wherever they want (on empty shelves), and leaving the place a mess when they’re done. Some of the employees are friendly and helpful, but most of them look like they belong on The Walking Dead...
Super clean and merchandise is in the right place. Love how even when it’s full of people the checkout is fast.
Pickup Service at Target was simple fast and easier than any pickup order I have experienced. I would definitely use that service again. They even allowed a week before pickup and extension if needed.

My item was ready for pick up when I arrived. Only issue was that there were two stations, one for pickups and one for return but only one station was operating, the return station. This made the pick up much longer that it needed to be. I had to wait in line with people who were returning things and that line was long. I guessing a solution would be if a person comes and identifies that they are there for a pickup, someone could immediately help there and then return to whatever they where doing once pickup is completed. pickup is not as frequent as returns im sure so shouldnt be much of a hassle, one, two, in and out.

This is the worst target on the planet. The bottle recycling never works and the customer service sucks. The prices are greater than all the other stores like this one. Stick to amazon instead of target.
It was very nice to meet the lovely woman at the pickup counter. She promptly confirmed my identity and my order. I was in and out in minutes.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. Customer service is abhorable. I shopped 2 hrs & when I went to cash counter realized one of my cards not working, I asked the customer rep to keep my stuff aside, when I came back 20mins later they said they have returned the stuff !! I have shopped gifts for my neice for my holiday to India . I would never shop at this store again
Good store and great way of running this location. Sometime all we need is for an employee to point us to the right direction, since the store is huge. And here i often get assistance quick. Also the checkout here is very quick, which make it a great target location, and make it easier for me to purchase what i need, unlike other target locations.
The concept is great and with some additional tweaking can really be a time saver.
Terrible Customer Service Policy Experience:We tried to return a defective Serta Never Flat air mattress after using it once, it deflated. It had a 2yr manufacture’s guarantee, which the consumer thinks should be backed by Target if there is a problem. Our receipt was past the date of a full return so they gave us the option of giving us a store credit of 1/3 the price or we to send it back to the manufacturer at our cost. Since the later option was so inconvenient, we had to take the store credit. This was disconcerting to say the least. We were surprised that a product that was supposed to be the best with a high retail value and 2yr never deflate guarantee only got us 1/3 store credit. This policy should change and customer service should be allowed to help when defective product is being sold to customers.I do not recommend buying a product of high value at Target because you will run the risk of getting defective products with no help from Customer Service all because the receipt we had was out of date.
Even though it was black Friday, Target still had everything I was looking for!
