Purchased a treadmill about a month ago and was very satisfied with the process over the phone. The treadmill was subsequently delivered and assembled with no problem. There has been a slight noise since then but the customer service dealing with that has been very good.

This is the worst shopping experience that I’ve ever had.I purchased a WaterRower rowing machine and paid Leisure Fitness to put it together.When using it, I would get cramps in my legs. At first, I figured that I was out of shape, and as I got in shape, the cramps would go away. I stopped using it.Eventually, I decide to buy a seat pad. I go to the WaterRower website and realize that Leisure Fitness put the SEAT ON BACKWARDS.I send them an email at the end of September. No one gets back to me.I call them and talk to one of the people who sold it to me. She tells me that the person that put my machine together had to be retrained. This means that THEY KNEW that there might be problems with the machines they assembled, but they never reached out to me to see if my machine was assembled correctly.In early October, I get a call from a manager from the Leisure Fitness in Westport, Connecticut who tells me that he’s working on my claim, and he’ll get back to me.I hadn’t heard from him on December 6th. I call. Someone tells me that he’s out of the office; he won’t be in until next week.I still haven’t heard from him.

Customer service is not there, for a big outfit the people in the store don’t pick up the phone and didn’t return my call white plains store.I called about a problem with my machine, elliptical.... the customer service agent said someone would call me, 3 days ago and no one called .

A great place to get real exercise equipment. A lot of it heavy duty, so it may cost more than Amazon or Modells but youre getting more. Maureen is the gal that always helps me here. She has a good history with fitness equipment and once even trained people professionally. You wont find that everywhere.

I buy at this location because the people who work here have worked in the fitness field before, so they arent just selling machines for a buck, they actual have functional knowledge of the equipment, and they ask a bunch of questions to make sure what you want to buy fits your goal. I like that in a store. Adjacent to them is the Vitamin Shoppe, so you can buy your new Treadmill and some Noxygen or Green Tea extract to help you through your next workout.

Stopped in here to get some info about the trade program. Joe L. was beyond helpful and the showroom has evetything a fitness junkie could want.

They have an excellent selection of machines to try out. Joe was very helpful.
