Called Home Lumber because I needed a tool and I know they sell high quality tools. The gentleman I was referred to, Geoff seemed to know the tools and was enthusiastic about the brands they carry. I decided to make the trip and check out their selection.When I arrived Geoff greeted me and seemed genuinely pleased to meet me. He showed me several options in the tool I was interested in and then showed the full line of tools, introduced me to several co-workers and made me feel like I was the most important person in the place. I thought, This guy is an incredible asset to this company.Well, come to find out, I was right! He is an incredible asset to the company, hes the owner!So, if you need tools and lumber and want to be treated like you matter and are appreciated, I suggest you go see Geoff.

The staff is great. The owner is one of the worst people I have met in my life. He is a slum lord and has no decency in the way he treats his tenants. He will fall through on his promises, neglect basic living necessities, and end up charging his tenants for getting in the way of his pocket book. Terrible, terrible person.

This review is based on the very poor service we received from Janice Mc... My sisters and I can handle a slow sales person, but not a very rude one as well . Hasnt anyone bothered to retrain her ? Or noticed ? Janice answered none of our questions, and stared into space instead . And then got nasty . We were told that she had been at home lumber for a long while .
