One of the few places in the area for groceries, this store does a pretty good job of providing value and selection of most items. However, they frequently have very low stock or are out of many of the most popular items. Best to shop early in the morning during the week. I like that most of the check out of self-serve, but just wish the lighting were a bit better as the dim white lighting gives it a very institutional feel, although this seems to be a company standard.

Its ok. Shelves need to be fully stocked. The water refill station in out of order a lot. I prefer check out clerks instead of checking myself out. I feel Im good enough.to shop there, they should show me the courtesy of being checked out by a clerk. A lot of times there is 1 or 2 checkers which is not enough.

Easy to navigate, usually well stocked, and has ample parking. They usually have the basics at a good price and their clearance items may be worth browsing for a deal. Their house paint choices have diminished in the past year but they are good at matching colors. You may need to look at Menards, Home Depot, or Ace Hardware for a larger selection and variety of paints. Their Automotive folks are patient, personable, explain things clearly in easy to understand terms, and will top off your tire air for you for free even if you did not buy them there. ( Nice to do in the winter on a cold day.) They automotive crew will also mount tires for you if you purchased them elsewhere. They operate on a first come first serve basis unless you scheduled ahead with them.

Want a cosmic trip. Go there. Every hair color and clothing you can imagine. Checkout clerks nice

20 years ago Walmart was kinda cool. Now the corporation has gotten so greedy that its no longer cool. The staff is clueless most days and it doesnt seem that anyone is around for help anymore. I cant say that I blame them because they dont get paid enough to care. I do not give the Walmart kids any of my money anymore.

For a college-town walmart with both college workers and lifelong workers, I must say that every worker that has helped me has been professional, helpful, and diligent. No one gives up on helping you find something, none of the college workers huddle to an aisle just to chit chat, none of the college workers are on their phones, etc. Obviously I havent interacted with every employee, however I feel confident saying that for a college-town walmart, it upholds its professionalism despite its younger workforce.

Walmart is Wal-Mart good place to shop for household items.

Havent been to Walmart in years. Had to ask someone how to get in the checkout area. Where are the aisles? Where are the checkout personnel? Three employees standing there on their phones but no one to check you out. Ridiculous. Precisely the reason I dont shop here.

I loved its a nice cozy Walmart but the staff was everywhere which I thought was nice except no one spoke or offer to help so lacking in customer service

Removed cashiers and replaced with self checkouts. Too narrow of isles (barely a shopping cart wide!!!). Wont be going back anytime soon!

I do not like this Walmart Supercenter it is not a Supercenter! I used to go to this Walmart because it was fast in and out now you have to check yourself out and it takes a while Im not trying to do that job! If you want to go to a real Walmart Supercenter go over to Delavan I was over there the other day and I forgot how nice it is to have a actual check out person and its a much larger size store with more options. The one in Whitewater seems gloomy the only way to describe it, a Barren Wasteland

Small Walmart that didnt have as much stock as a Walmart supercenter

There is nothing Super about this Walmart This is possibly the worst Walmart Ive been in. Its smaller and more cramped than any other big box store Ive shopped in. The aisles are narrow and dark. Compared to other stores it doesnt appear that they carry as much variety of products. I was looking for several items that I usually purchase at the Delavan Walmart, but this Walmart didnt carry any of those products The overhead lighting is dim and just gives the general appearance of dinginess. I usually end up buying much more than I came in for, but in this case I couldnt get out of the store fast enough. There is only one checkout aisle designed for a clerk to ring up your purchases; the rest are all self serve. Even the employees customer service skills seem subpar. I asked three employees for direction to certain products. Only one of the three responses was actually helpful.

Store is never fully stocked and is NOT A SUPER CENTER lame small country hick store

It sucks have to do your own self checkout it can take you 20 minutes if youre trying to buy alcohol or pack of cigarettes thats minimal

Tried the new pickup and it went very well. Had a bit of typo on my name but for a rollout it was smooth.

Its ok ..really liked before they changed last few weeks. No check outs now. All self service. I heard many people disliking.. Some complaints were. dont have time for this spending 200 plus dollars and have to check out myself... Then some will say to much frustration. I think this concept will be a bust. I would do half checkers and self service. Lot of people will go else where. Woodmans tried..failed.. Now they will get more customers for sure.. Wal-Mart please change it....

Went to pick up Walmart to Walmart cash. First lazy checker said that they were closed about am hour early. But right after we left the line, she took a different customer. Wow. Brain cells as much as fat goes a long way!

This WM has gone downhill shrinking down more and more on items and selections.

Its just a smaller than average Walmart that has most of the things a large Walmart has.

What a mess, they just keep making the store worse and now as an added bonus you get to bag your own stuff after you check yourself out while the useless employees stand around.

Walmart is always great

This Walmart is the closest and my favorite. Staff are nice and helpful. My only negative is they cater to the college students and depending on the day the store may be empty of staple foods for families. They need to anticipate the population needs better since theyre the only grocery store in that town.

Never too crowded, prices are decent, parking is convenient and has most of what I need. It is also one of the few places within Whitewater to do your shopping. Cashiers are always friendly.

It is not the worst wal mart in Wisconsin but it is in the top 10 so many times I found expired food on the shelves and stuff they cut into when they opened it with the box cutter and most of the employees would rather talk about how drunk they got the night before so if you can go somewhere else. I will say the pharmacy workers are awesome and they probably are the only few who really know what they are doing

Prices are good, they have plexiglas up at registers. The store is kept clean.

Walked in asking about the Playstation 5. All other walmarts have been selling in store if they have one and i looked on the app and this one did as well. I talked to an associate who was nice but didnt give me any info and told me they werent selling. I talked to a store manager and she was nice but seemed to not even know about them even though they had them and she said they probably didnt actually have them.

This place is decidedly average at best. I believe its the smallest walmart in Wisconsin. With this being a college town, albeit a small one, you would think theyd have a bigger store with more selection.With that being said when the college kids are in town the food selection gets wiped severely. This is made worse by also being the only place that would qualify as a grocery store within a ~20 minute drive of Whitewater.
