Overall quality was good, but everything else was not. It is important to note that I am a General Contractor that uses subcontractors regularly, as do Floors and Kitchen today. I was told the job would be a 3 day job (Friday, Saturday and Monday) and it took just over 10 days. After starting the job and only working a half day I was told they would be back on Monday, after I was told they would be back on Saturday. A call to their office had them back on Saturday afternoon for a few hours at best. On Monday they worked and I was told they had yet another job to start on Tuesday in Auburn at the Floors and Kitchens today showroom in Auburn! Several delays and excuses later they are back at work only to yet again disappear for another job down the cape. It was finally finished today 10 days after the job started and a week after I was told. While the work does look nice, they were not clean at all. This is a brand new house and they scratched one of my new doors, left dirty hand prints all over the new cabinets and trimwork around the doors and only cleaned up their spilled coffee on the newly laid floor (grout had not yet been sealed) after I said something. As a GC that uses subs dail;y this is NOT how they should be managed nor should any crew EVER be pulled away from a job and sent to another one if they are still working on a job, let alone twice. As you can imagine this totally screwed up scheduling with my other subs working in the house. Bob Tomasello inside sales was very friendly and helpful in choosing the tile, but the follow through with the crew was really non-existent. I have additional floor work to be done in the home and will not be using them again.

We just did our condo over. What a great job Joann did for us. From the kitchen design for the new cabinets and counters to the backsplash, to the flooring, they made the place look like new and were amazing beginning to end.

We love our new kitchen. The project is finally complete and we are enjoying the new space. They did an amazing job re-configuring the layout. I have been in the process of moving for about 3 months. The reason being due to the fact we are moving into my wife’s deceased parent’s house. The only thing to go right so far has been dealing with Floors & Kitchens Today out of Whitman. They went the extra mile and we were able to move in as scheduled. The installer was professional, on time, and did a great job. The sales rep Matt went above and beyond getting us the right price and quality carpet we were looking for. I would have taken pictures but my daughter had filled the room before I thought of taken any. I highly recommend dealing with this company.

We worked with Joann & Kyle and they were terrific. They helped us find gorgeous cabinets, Cambria countertops to accent, and new waterproof flooring and it just freshened up the whole home. The installers, both crews especially Ronnie & Kenny, were friendly and professionals. We are very happy.

Loved the Mannington Vinyl Tile floor product; install job done through Floors and Kitchens Today was terrible. Tiles were not abutted properly-right smack in the middle of the kitchen floor. Will probably cover this gorgeous tile with a rug, it looks that bad.

We chose this store because we wanted to give our project to a local business. Matt, Dottie and Joe were all great and answered and returned calls/ texts through the entire process in a timely manner. We have a new granite counter, tile backsplash, D-shaped sink, kitchen floor and carpeting in two rooms. The store has a good selection of everything. The installers were all very pleasant and did a nice job.

WOW! My faith renewed in kindness! I met Michelle this weekend while looking for a new area rug for my living room. I have done business here several times over the last 15-yrs thru convenience of location & believing in working with local business vs. conglomerate box stores. However after my last project experience in 2017/18, I just about had enough with not feeling appreciated as a customer, the lack of respect for my wishes and the sense of urgency after my rug order was put off for more than 3-wks, then my work-order was misplaced, all together. Reluctantly I returned this weekend with little to no expectations of finding help with ordering a new living room 9x13 area rug. WOW! Was I happy I did so! Michelle was so amazingly kind, happy, upbeat and willing to help me, I honestly didnt know how to react. I was blown away by her enthusiastic attitude to make my decision go perfect! As long as Michelle is in the building, I will be back. I highly recommend you get here to meet Michelle and do your project, youll be amazed!!!

I will start by saying I do love my cabinets, countertop and flooring but that is the only good thing I can say.I went into Floors and Kitchens last August to begin my project, we were renovating the basement in our home into an in law apartment. We first met with Matt who was FANTASTIC! He helped us choose the best flooring, gave us different options for cabinets and countertops and we left feeling really good about our order!Fast forward to October when we were getting ready to have our items ordered and everything went down hill. We had an issue with our bathroom upstairs and needed to remodel that before we could finish the downstairs. We were trying to complete the bathroom ASAP since we wouldn’t have a working bathroom in our home. When we placed the order for our vanity we explained that this needed to be ordered and delivered ASAP. They assured us it had been expedited and they would let us know when it was arriving. Every week we would call for an update and no one had an answer. We kept hearing “we’ll call with an update tomorrow” tomorrow didn’t come for almost 8 weeks. Finally that arrives and now to get the countertop for that was another 2 weeks. We get the “installer” to our house and he informs us that he doesn’t install the countertop and there should be someone else out to do that. He grabs the countertop and brings it into the bathroom and puts it on top of the vanity and damages our wall. Someone else did come out to secure it to the vanity. They did send out a 3” backer for the countertop that does cover that mark which was nice. Now bathroom is all set so it’s back onto the basement!We are finally ready to have our cabinets installed so we call and order those. We did have those within 2 weeks but delivery to our house was not included. We rented a uhaul truck to come pick everything up at once (cabinets and flooring). While we were there Michele asked if I wanted to drive the forklift...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? That’s breaking so many OSHA laws right there. We had our contractor install our flooring and cabinets and everything looks great.. or so we thought. He said there was crown molding included that was too tall for our ceiling height. No big deal the cabinets look fine without it, but you think when they came to measure (twice) they might have figured the ceiling height into the measurements. So now we have a bunch of crown molding that we cannot use. Then we get our countertop templated and installed, which took another 2 weeks.Finally, we think we are done with this company...WRONG! There was 1 handle missing for a cabinet. I called on 2/29/20 and spoke to Debbie. I told her we were missing 1 kitchen cabinet handle and needed it to be ordered. She told me Michele would call me right back she was just with a customer. I’m still waiting for that call back. I call again the following Friday (3/6/20) and spoke to Bob. He takes notes that my kitchen handle is missing and he would either call me back Friday afternoon or definitely Saturday. I’m still waiting for Bob’s call too. I call again the following Saturday (3/14/20) and spoke with Debbie again. She told me Michele was with a customer but it had been ordered it was delayed slightly and she would call me during the week. Again no call that week. I finally called back today (3/21/20) and no one answered. I left a message saying I was checking the status and if someone could call me back. FINALLY I GOT A CALL BACK! Michele was pretty rude on the phone and said she ordered both for the kitchen and the vanity because “she didn’t know which one I needed.” Then she gave me some bogus excuse that they couldn’t call me until the product was in. You couldn’t call to just say yes we ordered it and are just waiting for it to arrive? Or call me back the first week and ask which handle I needed? But I digress. We go and pick it up this afternoon get home to install it and OF COURSE THE SCREW IS NOT TO CORRECT SIZE! At this point it’s only a screw and that’s easy enough to get a different one. Needless to say we will never shop here again!

Run from this store!! Absolute nightmare from the start! I had 4 bedroom carpets and a hallway with laminate installed. They were wonderful in helping pick out carpet and once paid upfront in full for carpet and labor it went to hell from there. I was told 1-2 weeks for carpet to come in then another week or so for installation and I would receive a call when carpet was in to schedule installation. After not hearing for 3 weeks I called and no answer at store, sent an email with no reply, called again and received voicemail. I finally stopped in to confirm the store at this point hadn’t closed up shop with my money. Matt told me carpets were still not in but should be in two days later and he would call me. After another two weeks I called to check on status, emailed and called with yet again no response. I finally threaten to call better business bureau and don’t you know I received instant response with an Install date. Next he tells e it will now be a two day job. I wasn’t happy but ok. Then the night before after hunting Matt down yet again to confirm time for next day he tells me it’s now a 3 day job. Laminate installer comes out and installs laminate but has to come back to put in transition pieces after carpets gets installed. Carpet installer comes out. (Only thing good about the company is they hired this independent contractor) He finished carpets and now laminate guy is scheduled to come back on the fri. First told 9-11. No show, I call Matt and no surprise he doesn’t answer. I email him and responds guy got held up at prior job. What prior job is before 9am. Laminate guy is a no show. He calls me personally and scheduled to come at 5p. By 9p he tells me he has to reschedule. He finally comes this past sun with a time of 930, he arrives at 1230 and after starting this nightmare in July my flooring as of sept is finally completed!! I have also heard they have filed several bankruptcy and changes names.

The company installed approximately 750 sq ft of 1.25 wide plank hardwood throughout my main living area recently. They sanded, stained and applied multiple coats of polyurethane sealant to the floor after stain was complete. I could not be happier with the level of service Ive received from Floors & Kitchens Today Whitman throughout the process and my only regret thus far is not having hired them sooner.

I have been working with sales reps and owners for over one year trying to resolve an issue with our carpet. We have gotten the run around time after time. They do not stand by their product, quality is atrocious, the rug less than a year and a half old is all pulled and matted and it looks its like its 10 years old. We have given them multiple chances to rectify the situation and they have not. Returning phone calls has been a chore. I have called at times two and three times a day to no avail. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

LARRY IS AWESOME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, CAME IN MEASURED, TALKED -INTERACTED, CALLED BACK QUICKLY WITH ESTIMATE,SET UP INSTALL DAY . AND IT WAS JUST AN ALL EASY PROCESS DEALING WITH LARRY AT BIG BOBS .... CANT WAIT TO DO BUSINESS AGAIN .

Please, please, please, stay away from this store. We learned the hard way but you don’t have too. Here is just 1/3 if we went through and still incomplete.Our project was very simple and straight forward. Small kitchen. That’s it! Andy came in and measured. We provided ll the appliances specs and he was in charge of the design. His supervisor and manager of the store in Whitman, Matt Sweeney never talked to us and we just meet him 3 months later when the installer decided to give the job up.They (designer) promised us 2 days for the installation and they required the labor to be pay in full. Our biggest mistake. We thought this is a pretty much standard practice but unfortunately is not in most stores.I will try to be short because this last 4 months have been hell. They stink in everything.Cabinetry came in and it was time to start the installation. We had to wait extra 2 weeks because their installers who they work with decided to quit. Well, I didn’t ask why but they would be lying to me anyway. But later I discovered why the installers decided to leave this store. The management and designers are just junk and costumer service doesn’t exist.After 2 weeks, they hired different installers to do the job and soon I found down the manager Matt hired this guy because he was a friend. I am not going to talk about the installers because they were subcontractors but they were terrible in general. On the cellphone all the time fighting with other contractors or employees. I was leaving in hell for 3 months. Wait a minute, you asked. It was supposed to be a 2 days job right? Well, the designer got every single thing wrong, the specs were off, the installers were pissed, we had cabinets missing and many more. And you ask, did the manager did something and the answer is NO!We met him 3 months later. He never answer our emails and our phone calls. We had to go see him. My wife had to call a different store to talk about our issues. Very unprofessional and irresponsible.I took days off from work, bought nails and liqued nail out of pocket and didn’t receive a dime for. I requested and refund and so far after 5 months, Matt Sweeney, who you should never trust, told me he would be talking to his boss about it.To be honest, I don’t expect anything from him because he isn’t even a fraction of what a manager should be. Way below ridiculous. Shame!When we decided to say that we couldn’t deal we such unprofessional behavior and lack of responsibility with this project, he came out to meet us and to say sorry. After that never got back to us and never reach out to ask what we need.The job is incomplete and I am finishing it. Yup! I am finishing it. We can’t even deal with this situation anymore.Matt wanted us to sign that we are satisfied with the job. Ironic, very funny guy. The job isn’t complete and we are very disappointed.We will not be signing off on the work order that you left as the work is not complete in a satisfactory and workman like manner.List of what was left behind that I am dealing with.Missing furniture baseboard under utility cabinet.Missing seal on glass over kitchen sink doors.Touch up crack under kitchen sink.Repairing cracks on both sides of the island.Filling in gaps in crown molding.We filled a complaint with BBB but they told us that FKToday hasn’t responded them. 2 months now since we filled the complain.Don’t make the same mistake. Stay away from Flooring and Kitchen Today in Whitman. We decided to go local but it was a mistake. Maybe a different store and a different manager we would have a different experience.
