If if you love Tiki and are even just a little bit interested in transforming even a nook of your house into a bit of paradise, then GO! I got lucky enough to talk to Lucky Leroy one of the owners, an old timer work just the best heart and stories, I couldve spent days listening! The staff might seem a little rough around the edges but trust me, they are so helpful and kind! Just ask and theyre so eager to help! The prices are really great too, we did homework before going in and even online stores dont compare. And lots of raw materials for Tiki folks like us who are creating a dream! This place also has a big section of REALLY nice rentals and they are really inexpensive if you just need props for a luau party. A new favorite! Mahalo!

While I couldnt visit in person, I was able to make a purchase via their Website / E-mail and the service was outstanding. If I lived closer, my bank account would have a lot less money in it! Great service, great products, an amazing business!

This place is amazing! Tons of cool, authentic Tiki decor. The owner greeted us when we arrived, then we looked around and had a super friendly employee help us with a Puffer Fish light and some shells. Afterwards we took our selections up to the front, where Mike helped us checkout. He was so genuine and full of information. They accept cash and credit cards. No checks. Theyre able to ship if needed and theres plenty of parking. We will definitely be back!

This place is a treasure trove of decor, collectibles, and antiques from all around the oceanic/island world. I found this place when preparing for our tiki themed party. We wanted to get some BIG statement pieces, but didn’t want to buy a huge tiki we would only use once. Oceanic arts has a large rental decor area with everything you need to get party decorated. We ended up renting a small bar, 2 large tikis, a canoe on a stand as an ice bucket, and several sections of thatching we had for a photo booth. The customer service there was great and the rental pricing and terms were very fair. I’ve attached some photos from the party. I’m a lighting designer, so the lighting is kicked up a notch, but that is all from a company called Ampersand Events.

Love the store, but help wasnt helpful. Great place for buying tikis and related items. Didnt get much help or info. After our 3rd question we were asked if we wanted answers...um, yeah, spending almost a grand so would like some answers. Staff seemed like they couldnt be bothered, but they have neat stuff and the place to go if youre looking to rent or buy tiki stuff. We did get some great tikis, accents and novelties. Stuff is 4*, staff is 2.5*.

This place is awesome. They rent a ton of cool things for a tiki or Luau themed party or event. They have many many things for purchase as well. I feel the prices are reasonable.

Nothing better when it comes to Tiki...! Bought 2 of Leroy’s original carvings & his original painting called, “Rescue! Too Late! Too Little”. See pics...best spot, great history, incredible stories & knowledge between both of them! Always a please to hear them tell their stories!!!

Ive yet to have the pleasure of visiting this place, but I saw a blowfish at a tiki bar in Hollywood and they told me it was purchased at this place. I initially thought it was an intimate gift brought by one of the regular patrons to said tiki bar, but I was informed that it was in fact purchased at this fine establishment. Looking forward to visit. 🍹🍹🌅🌅💜❤️😘

Tiki Mecca. What more can I say? If you want it, odds are they have it. Décor, building materials, party rentals, you name it. The owners are so friendly and approachable, its obvious they love what they do.

This place has been here all these years hiding in Whittier!? If you tiki you need to get down here. I seems a lot for tiki bar builders have used this place (and left a mug or two for their display case). Its half prop house and a museum of Polynesian pop.

This is THE premier fabricators of all things tiki. The guys Leroy Schmaltz and Bob Van Ooster have been in business since 1956 and have 200 TV/movie production (from Gilligans Island to MAD Men) credits, a history with Disney theme parks (Tiki Room anyone?) + a cool Luau and tiki party rental biz too. When you go, a MUST HAVE is a picture with them. Classic tiki all the way.
