They usually have good deals on shoes. I only wish they carried more wide shoes but thats not the fault of big 5. Either way I still like going here for shoes and ammo. I have probably purchased a dozen knives here over the years and most low priced but good quality. The kbar style knife I bought there about 20 years ago is still in use today. Camping gear, guns, knives and shoes great stuff. I wish they would put the mossy 500 on sale again for 2 bills like they used to all the time back in the day.

Great sporting goods store. Everything you can possibly need for sports. Athletic wear, swimwear. Bats & baseballs. Soccer merchandise. Shoes of all sports. Adult and children. Covid-19 guidelines are in order..wear masks. Great staff. Clean and well stocked. If you need anything just ask Mr. Garrett Nurre. He was kind and helpful. Give this place an A++. Inside the Quad across from PetSmart.

Enjoy buying shoes on sale. Today, I wanted to buy a fleece hoodie jacket, they didnt have my size. I ended up buying a double padding carhart hoodie jacket cost more then what I wanted to buy. I know the brand is high quality and will last and keep me warm in this cold weather.

I love this place but the only thing is they should carry 3xlg.in the Nike brand long sleeve shirts.that keep you cool in the summer and also they should carry 3xlg.in hooded sweatshirts.for the winter.thats my feedback on that

Went here looking for some hand weights everything is so expensive right now, the gyms are close so people are rushing to get their own gym started and their garage, if the gyms are not closed have to wear a face mask oh, how ridiculous is that oh, its like going to a dance and you cant ask a girl to dance

Horrible customer service. Made eye contact with a staff after waiting for her to stop chatting with another staff member. Only for her to turn around and walk away as I was attempting to ask her a question. I mean seriously. As if me waiting wasnt enough. SMH

I went here for snow pants and the entire store was a disaster. There was merchandise all over the floor. The website said they had limited stock in my size and when I couldnt find it, I asked. The girl pointed to a huge cardboard box and asked did you check in there?So I did, and they didnt have it. I went up to the register with the SKU from the site and when she looked it up she said they had 4 so she went in the back. After about ten minutes she said she couldnt find them, but they had the bib version of them. I left and went to the Anaheim location which was busier yet more organized and cleaner.

Good place for shoes if you can get it in your size and style. Has good sales paper. General sporting goods. Hunting, fishing, sports apparel, camping equipment etc customer service lacks. Waited for help with shoes. Parking never an issue.

They have everything you need from cleats to hunting gear. Big 5 is the best choice when youre looking for anything sports related. Everything is well-organized and easy to find. Its quick, easy, and inexpensive. Always my first choice when looking you buy footfall gear.

Manager is rude! They also tried to sell me a pair of used weight lifting gloves at full price. Not good especially with COVID 19 going on right now.

Camping Stuff

Personal experience only!! Im here a minimum of 1x a week. With that being said, come knowing what you want, because No One will offer assistance, and when you ask, there is a 75% chance they wont know either. I come here for sake items knowing exactly what I am looking for, In and Out. I do admit, Big 5 has Great sales and decent selections.

This location has been here for years. They have a decent selection of sporting goods. Would have given a 5 star but some staff rather talk among themselves than talk to you while helping you.

Plenty of parking. I always get in trouble because if find more than what I am planning to by. Make sure to sign up for their emails as they have quite a few weekly and daily deals. I’ve never had to pay full price for anything because of all the coupons that are offered. Love coming here.

On a Sunday night at around 7pm, my son told me he needed some worms for class the next day 🤨 I thought he was screwed!! Went by Bug 5 in Whittier thinking it was a long shot, but they came through !!

My son bought a pair of sneakers here and when he got home found that the box contained two left shoes. He went back the next day and, rather than exchanging the one shoe, they made him buy a new pair. Admittedly, he had not kept his receipt, but it was obvious what had happened. Why else would a fourteen-year-old have two identical brand new left shoes? It was inexcusable for them not to make it right.

I called asked a question and was put on hold for 40 min. I hung up and called back phone had a busy signal. kept calling back for a few hours ever time i got a busy signal. i think they left the phone off the hook to not get anymore calls. I go there my self to ask a question about shoes and they tell me wait over there by the shoes an we will get someone. durring that time i watched a girl talk on her cell phone while it was on speaker, hidden deep in the chest of her shirt about the drama of her boyfriend. anyone else seemed to be glued to their phones as well, just roaming around like zombies. after about 30 min of waiting I took off. went to sports authority in La Habra. If I owned this place I would have fired everyone. Their are so many un employed people that will actually work these days being that their is practicaly no jobs out there.
