Made an online order that I was picking up. Went great. Got a notification that the order was ready, came in, showed my ID and was done with that. Saw some clothing I was interested in on the way out but will be willing to go back and buy it.

Veronica, the Supervisor of the Mens Dept was very helpful locating items for me. I told her that I live in Downey and drive to Whittier because of the stores appearance and customer service. Also, Noah my cashier qas very friendly and professional.

Ive been going to the J C Penney styling salon for years. They are taking extra COVID safety precautions now to ensure a safe environment for customers.

Man they have this big and tall section. I was like a 7 year old in a candy store. Then we had this super awesome cashier Samantha. Cute as a button and very friendly. She helped me save close to 100$.

Found some great shirt sales for husband but had to search for them. Aseperate rack by cashier

This is insane. Nothing was in its place, couldnt find what I was looking for in its designated section/area. Wow

Went to pickup online order. Forgot where the pickup area was. Walked pretty much the whole Penneys to get there. That was my fault. Parked in wrong area. Lady helping me was very courteous and helpful. In and out in less than 5 minutes. No problems at all.

The JC Penny chain, as well as Sears, offer people the opportunity to see, feel, and touch the numerous products offered at these stores. Im not buying (anything) from Amazon that I cannot touch, feel, or pull and tug at the quality of the cloth, fabric, plastic, or metal. I need to examine, and feel the durability of products before buying. If we dont support these stores with out business, then it leaves us few options. These large department store chains offer kids the opportunity for their first job as teens. Aside from that, Pennys have great discounts on mens attire, although they can use an update, and carry more of Arrow shirts. Decent amount of choice, for the bachelor to remain looking the cool operator.

I got very knowledgeable help, from a JC Penney associate. I dont see very well, andhe helped me find, the high quality t-shirts,Ive been buying, for over 50 years.I just got a new Security job, and I have towear a t-shirt, under my uniform.

Frustrated because their dressing rooms still arent open so you have to over-purchase and then go back to return what you dont want and Im terrible at doing returns plus it takes up more of my time.

Store was a mess. Tables were piles of clothes. I was looking for 2x size in mens and a 36 inch waist. Good luck. I cant ever find this most popular size any where for men. Get with it whoever is ordering sizes. Please order more. 36s! And 2x sizes. Thanks

Weve been shopping at Pennys for years. Reasonable prices get even better when they have a sale and /or you use their app for discounts. I bought a $54 shirt that was marked down then applied the web coupon that brought it down to $8. True story! 👍

The overall store is great and the prices are even better. although after shopping around for about 30 or more minutes we were not met with a single representative to ask if we needed help or anything. i only saw those working the front counter and it wasnt even late at night

Dirty and discriminating. Security guards door calls over intercom and was being followed by staff . I dont need to steal I have tattoos and felt was very unpleasant.people should get a life and not be so concerned about theft because its not worth getting shot over or anything if you ask me I recommend you treat all customers equal and dont worry about the people who r actually there to steal its not like it comes out of your personal checks.. get a life . BTW i dont steal but getting treated like that made me want to since I was being accused pretty much the second I walked in

Parking was good, not overly crowded clean restrooms available. Unfortunately getting help is difficult to achieve. Thankfully, the people at checkout are very good(useful Information, friendly and sold me on the credit card ). 😊

I rarely go to JC Penney but after stopping in here I was pleasantly surprised with the selection they have. I found exactly what I needed and more. The prices were great as well. They did have some sales going on so keep that in mind. Very nice clothing and its single story which I personally like. They were very helpful here as well. I had to get my neck measured for a dress shirt and they helped me out.

Employees at this store are always very nice and professional and never try to rush you out even when theyre closing.

Wow!!! Great prices on sale items. Many brands to choose from. All though the clearance items are too jam packed on the racks. The sales representatives are helpful and friendly.

Just sad to see it go. I built my credit, 50 years ago with JCPenney. I bought my first and last appliances from JCPenney. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the years with JCPenney appliances without even thinking of going anywhere else. It was sad... 1 pitiful washer sitting on the floor...sad another one slowly disappearing. And I was so pleased with the service and the quality of the product.

Not crowded, easy to find what I was looking for. Fair prices. Paid $7.00 for a chargers hat .Normally $30.00 . Cant beat that with a stick.

Location is easy enough to get to and the employees are all friendly. The issue stems from the organization or apparent lack thereof. The shelves and aisles within the store are completely a mess and finding anything you need becomes a game of needle in a haystack. Clothes are intermixed with one another and never where they belong making it very difficult shop in store.

If I could do no stars I would. I came to enjoy black Friday, and it was a disaster. We were at one door fo 30 minutes until the wanted us to wait another hour to get in the other line. Then when we got in the girl Lauren at the door was refusing to give coupons to my mom and other seniors. It was sad. This store needs major training. I wont be back at all
