First time here, wanted some coffee. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, it was delicious. Definitely need to come back to buy more coffee and their beans. Great little shop.

Had a matcha drink that was one of the best ever. Excellent,.down-to-earth staff. Chill, urban atmosphere with work tables, couches and counter space.Too bad I dont live in Whittier or else I would make this my.go-to spot.

Upon arriving, i was thrilled to come back to the coffee shop i spent years at while earning my education. The atmosphere has completely change and it was like walking through memory lane which was very nice however, i was one of the first customers on a Saturday morning and felt like the new staff member opening up was bothered that i arrived at the opening hour. I tried to ignore it but when i asked questions about recent changes and questions about the coffee, she still made me feel as if i was bothering her. She then mentioned that she has only been working there for two weeks it. In the past i have always received awesome customer service. Whittier is my home and i have always supported the small businesses in my community but seeing how the new staff member ester made me feel, i do not think i will be returning to Lift.

Our experience was good... good customer service and good coffee. My boyfriend had Honey Latte and he was amazed. I had a Mocha latte... and it was delicious. Good place to come and have coffee.

My hubby took me on a date here last Sunday for the first time we really loved it the coffee was devine. I had the abuelita coffee and he had the iced matcha with a shot of expresso.Great atmosphere and really good coffee!

This is definitely the BEST coffee I’ve had since arriving in the USA! (from Australia...the land of coffee snobs).I’ve had their iced latte, hot latte and espresso and all have been absolutely amazing.I don’t take sugar or sweetener in my coffee and with the quality here, you won’t miss it...absolutely outstanding and I can’t wait to get another one tomorrow.

Coffee was ok. Not the best but also not the worst. Starbucks is about the same price so Id prefer to support a small business instead. Cashier was great. Barista was in the zone making the coffee so maybe thats why she looked like she wasnt happy to work there. If youre looking for a quick coffee go here but if youre looking for specialty then Id suggest looking elsewhere. Im Still looking for one locally.

Back in So Cal after 7 years in the Bay Area and so happy to have found this awesome coffee house with a refreshing and unique atmosphere. Staff is chill and the drinks are what a real coffee enthusiast would enjoy.

Ordered a latte with almond milk. It was good but couldve been hotter. A little over priced but then again, so its Starbucks. And I rather support a local, small business especially during this pandemic

First the good: Their coffee is excellent. Very tasty and unique flavors, I buy several of their espresso bags at a time whenever I go. If you love coffee this is a good place to get the good good.The place is decorated nicely. It has seating so you can do your homework there or actual work there. I didnt see any outlets though.Now the bad: This place would be 5 stars if their customer service was better. Their male baristas so far have all had attitudes. One several different occasions and by two different male baristas so far. My girlfriend just went to Lift by herself today and told me the male barista is being rude to her which spurred my need to write this review.Yall need to do better. We are just trying to get some good coffee and go about our day as happy as we came in to the shop.This isnt the case of the pandemic blues either. I have gotten bad attitudes from the male baristas since before the pandemic.I can go to a different coffee shop that has good coffee and not have to deal with your attitude. Your bad attitude is sullying the coffee.

Great coffee, warm and friendly service, and nice atmosphere. The espresso is good although the flavor can vary slightly depending on who makes it. The service is consistently professional and welcoming. The atmosphere is great for studying or having conversation with a friend. It can feel a little cluttered when it really gets busy, but overall its a great place.

Looking for a hip coffee shop in Uptown Whittier? Youve found it at Lift Coffee Roasters.Parking isnt hard to find at all. Plenty of street parking spots, which I dont think should ever be a problem.Seating was pretty open as there were lots of tables of 2, 4 and seating for even bigger groups.The overall vibe is pretty cool. It looks like theyve used an old airplane on their coffee bar and some of their furniture. Its all tied in very well and the design is on point!I had a cold brew, from their Guatemalan roast, and thought it was a little watered down. Not sure if it was the batch, or if it was the dilution for the cold brew. I also got the Vegan Churro donut and that was awesome! It would have been nice if they asked me if I wanted it warmed up or not, but it was still good not warmed up.Overall, I thought it was a typical average coffee shop experience, but the vibe and design brought my review up to 4 stars. Im a believer in 2nd chances, so Ill be stopping by again in the future!

Just went here for the first time recently and I really enjoyed it. Good quality coffee that is full of flavor and very smooth. The music they play here was nice as well as all of the decor. Very nice coffee shop. Its good to know theres a great place with a nice cup of coffee at a good price just a walk away from my place.

How to explain. If you like a la cart, this is your place. Im not a big meal eater so this is convenient for me. I enjoy the atmosphere, the ambience of the location, and lets not forget the servers are on top of things. I truly recommend the Brink for its historical atmosphere that fits uptown Whittier and quality of food. I will return.

Lift is good. The coffee shop Whittier has always needed. Sometimes the staff can be a bit aloof but Ive probably caught them on off days, since theyve been really good on most visits. The drinks are delicious, albeit sometimes on the expensive side. Ive never been disappointed coming here. The vegan donuts are good! Im happy the integration with the best sandwich shop in town has gone well.

Cute airplane themed coffee shop. The latte is yummy and a solid choice. The couple times Ive been the chairs seem comfy and there were plenty of space to work and study.

Definitely a quiet, more tranquil change from the bigger local coffee shops. I have been there a few times and I do have to say Im liking Lift a little more. Great place for students and people who just want a chill coffee spot :)

It was my first time visit and I really enjoyed my visit. The young lady barista was so kind and professional. The customers there were also very nice.

Went for my birthday one year and had one of the most amazing meals of my life. I highly recommend going with a group and sharing every order so you can try more and experience the delicious flavors. Great atmosphere. Great good. Great service.

Great vibes, even greater coffee. Staff was friendly and the service was pretty efficient. Not too loud, so work is easy to do. Decor is very alternative, but appropriate to the plane/lift theme. Check this place out, definitely a must visit in Uptown. OH! And the sandwhich was absolutely massive for the price and totally worth it. But definitely not just a snack.

I had a burger that oddly had a fruit on it (was it pear? I dont remember) - it was delicious. We also had a cheese tray and it was also good. The atmosphere was great - love that the menus come in old books. Manager was friendly and waitress was easy to connect with. Great place.

The interior theme is pretty cool but overall the coffee and tea werent anything exciting or particularly delicious.meh. Other places in Whittier that I prefer. The Deli Up though which is in the same shop is 5/5. Id only go back for the sandwiches.

Found this place while exploring Whittier. Wonderful coffee/tea. They also had playing cards and games. My hubby and I grabbed a deck of cards for a few games of gin rummy. Thank you for our wonderful tea and espresso.

I love working here! It’s so cute and the coffee is good. They have plenty of tables and outlets. They always have a good playlist on and it’s not one of those cafes where you feel like you have to be super quiet.

Very comfortable place to work. Great club chairs and sofa. The coffee is a little bitter and the chai tea is a little too sweet for me but the WiFi is good and so is the ambiance. I go there a lot to get some peace!

Their website is misleading/outdated as they no longer serve hot sandwiches. Their pastries not exciting either. Good service and hot coffee tho.

Great atmosphere, steam punk and rustic, thats what Id describe this place. Quality customer service. I stopped by to charge my phone, ended up buying a Chai latte, and sitting on couch by the giant window. Priceless!

All of the staff is very friendly and easy to get along with. Chelsea is very knowledgeable about everything they offer. Bret and Vito are the best bartenders I have ever met. And this place is perfect to bring a date, grab coffee, a beer, do homework, or all of the above.

Now that its close, so sad. It was the one of the greatest place to go. Gabriel made the best drinks in Whittier there. All the people who I recommend to go, kept going there. Food wad good. Only sometimes took long to serve it. Had my birthday and anniversary party there with a few friends. Sad it closed. But I would give it 10 if it opens and Gabriel is the bartender again.

Lift Coffee is like no other. You can tell its fresh roasted and they use the best natural ingredients like healthy local honey to enhance a glorious experience. Love them. A real treat and great place to study, read socialize.

The hot mocha is amazing!!! So rich, creamy and the foam is so smooth! The environment is very calm and family friendly.

The only reason why Im giving it a 4 is that they stopped serving brunch at 130 when the signage said 3. Nonetheless, the coffee and juices were on point. Great study spot and for coffee addicts like myself!

Great place to have a coffee and relax. Im not a fan of blonde roasts but their Americano (which is done with blonde roast) is one of of the best Ive had so far compared to many coffee shops Ive been to, its very smoth without a real sharp acidity.The barista was definitely very friendly offering good customer service from start to finish. Greeted me as soon as I walked in, and even checked up how the coffee quality was. I was seeing how he helped other people, and would explain things about the product with customers. Im definitely very impressed.
