Pretty cool little shop. I’m more of a DC comic fan. More specifically into The Flash. They have a good selection though. It’s worth checking in and taking a look around.

As much as I love this small comic store I wish they would open earlier or close later. As for the store they are more than willing to help you find the comic you are looking for and let you know if it will be available.

For a comic store to still be in business after covid, they get four stars. There selection is good, though if you are looking for anything other than the most recent back issues youre SOL.

This is the best comic book shop within a 20 mile radius hands down...They dont overcharge when a book gets hot. As a matter of fact even if a book heats up they still sell it for cover price (AMAZING). Every book regardless if its a comic, TPB, or hardcover comes in a bag and board at no extra charge! They offer a pull list that comes with a discount at NO CHARGE unlike some comic shops that have an annual fee. They have a lot of cool merchandise. They have a back issue room where you can dig through a lot of long boxes and find your treasure at cover price!They offer a cool podcast room that you can rent by the hour. The shop is located in Uptown Whittier which is a very cool place. But most importantly they have a great staff, never rude, always friendly. So if you are looking for a comic shop for a one time purchase or for a weekly pull list... UNDERCITY COMICS is your shop!!! NUFF SAID

Rene was a kind sweetheart and very helpful in making our choices. really appreciate the social distancing efforts and the kindness to inform us about a pull list for future issues. Their promos are super amazing and look forward to future visits.

This place is a hit or miss . Half the time the comics are over priced or they don’t carry it . don’t bother asking if they have a back issue . They will not help you look for it just . Be their behind the counter on their phone or Laptop to busy to even notice if your their to buy something or steal . My two cent just say hello or ask if we need help . These experiences were pre covid

Great selection, friendly and helpful staff. A good size collection of back issues and games as well They also have a really cool podcast studio that you can rent out if you want to make your own podcast! There were some people in there when I stopped by so I got to see them recording though the window. I will definitely be back soon.

This place is small but very cozy. They have many outlets under the table!I wont worry about if i need to work with my computer there. I think they have a limit if you want to use credit card. last night i had to use cash for mocha which is tasty.

Place is pretty small but had a pretty good collection for the size. Not going to be a place to go if youre a collector of old comic books, but they have a nice assortment of modern comics, as well as merchandise from other things like TV shows (saw a Rick and Morty mug that I really wanted.) Also pretty interesting, they have a booth set up for anyone who wishes to record a podcast, complete with equipment, and they seem to have a great deal on letting people use it. Im not a comic reader myself, but Ill definitely be back to take my little sister when she wants another comic.

Well what can I say that hasnt already been said? Shopping here makes me feel guilty for shopping at Borders (3 for the price of 2) or on Amazon. Cute lazy cat. Sweet magazine section. Original, cute and interesting greeting cards.

The selection of remainder copies here is incredible. Picked up a brand new $25 book for just $8! Friendly staff too.

Great little store. Friendly staff and knowledgeable as is what you want with a comic shop that sells not only comics but games and other collectables. Very neat and clean place. Definitely a good place to stop and pick thru the walls and long boxes.

Loved this place. Will be back. Owner is nice, knows her stuff and able to help find exactly what I was looking for. Plus they have a podcast room to rent by the hour. A little hard to see from the main Street but worth it. Also its clean and smells decent unlike a lot of other comic places I have visited.

I love the look of this store. Its fresh, and easy to browse. Theres a great selection of graphic novels, and great amount of single issues. Something really cool about this store is they have a room to record podcasts I think. Really unique! They also have posters, collectibles, and more. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Cool place but small area

Im an avid comic collector and this shop is the best to keep a pull list at around. And Rene the shop keeper is super informed about the various illustrators,companies and titles.

For free comic book day you can only take 3 comics unless you bought something then you can get more.. what a joke! And Im a regular here so I traveled to another comic shop where you can take 1 free comic each. Plus I made a few purchases, I wont be going back to undercity comics..

By far the best comic shop Ive been to. Staff is helpful, they hold my comics for me, and its a simple little place. Some shops are big and kind of overwhelming and seem unwelcoming but this place isnt and I like that.
