A little sparse in Christmas merchandise. Some good deals. Used a 20% off my purchases coupon offered via email.The lower rating is because this Whittier store seems to ALWAYS have the bathrooms closed, out of order. If I could visit the restroom, I could stay in the store a lot longer and shop much more. This is lost sales for Big Lots. Fix your restrooms, its good customer service to make your shoppers comfortable.

Ive been going here for years... I was there on 4/2/21 and the service I received in Furniture was Rediculous...The guy babbled on and on about things Not pertaining to my needs. When I found what I wanted, it was Either Not available until May, or the latter part of April...Or, he didnt know when it would be available, oh...and you can Not buy Any Floor Items...I will Never shop here again...Besides I went to Living Spaces, got exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it, It will be Delivered for Free, and I even saved a little over $500.00 on the Chase Lounge Sofa and Recliner I bought....😊 😃 ☺ 😄

Management was very helpful in locating an item for me at one of their other stores. Then I Informed cashier that the man standing too close to me in line, with a young boy without a face covering refused to social distance, she informed me that management didnt enforce face covering.

If the 99 store is going to raise prices you might as well shop at big lots 100% BETTER QUALITY

Big lots Will not return product when it stops working they don’t care about the customer at all they sell cheap products they’re not helpful at all I will not buy any products from them anymore

The last two times that I shopped at my local Big Lots I was using my motorized wheelchair. I shopped a long time going up and down every aisle. Each time a specific employee would periodically come to me asking if I found everything I was looking for, and offered to take the items up front to hold while I continued browsing. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed to shop as long as I liked. I saw her offering the same courtesies to other shoppers. Some of the shoppers appeared offended and considered her intrusive. Sad. All of the checkers appeared uninterested in unnecessary conversation with customers. Sad, but no big deal either. My Big Lots is clean, doesnt smell and is kept organized. That is greatly appreciated.

Well... If I must say, it is not what it used to be, most prices are the same as any other store, or even higher! So, its not the same anymore.

What can I say about this place for big lots lots of things you know everything is everything is good good price you know well stacked all the aisles are clean you know everything is like the way its supposed to be it feels it smells fresh and everything in there and it feels like inviting so go to that place its a good place

They have done some aisle rearranging and have worked on getting the customer out much quicker.

The store was super clean, and organized!! Great and friendly staff, was nicely greeted upon arriving the store and associates were available if needed. Only negative is some of the items around the store didnt have price tags

The store is full of people, there were only 2 employees in the front taking care of customers and now theres 3 and they are doing their best, but the line is way too long, and the worst part is that you have to go all the way to the front to ask for a key to use the restroom, and the restrooms are not very clean. If you have that many people in your store leave the restroom opened, just common sense.

Came here after my local big lots didnt restock the no mess bird seed...found a few bags here...store is ok but seems disorganized it seems like theyre trying to follow the store model of other big lots but its not working...highly noticeable homeless population cruising the parking lot & taking the shopping carts for their belongings...idk use caution

Some of the office furniture had scratches on it, but it wasnt being sold at a discount price.

Purchased our dinning set from this place. It is holding up pretty good. The customer service at the furniture could use more back up. Customers wait to long to be helped, because the Company only has two service agents. Regardless of the wait the staff is still good

The guy at the mattres and bed help us in choosing the best mattress for us also explained in detail the lease that big lots has to purchased and paid later.

It was so busy, it is CHRISTMAS TIME! There was about 15 people in line and 5 of us walked up and they had ONLY one cashier on. All the other so-called employees were standing around talking. I worked at Kmart and they wouldnt stand for that! We walked out. They didnt get a LOT of peoples business TODAY!!

Great prices and items but there customer service is terrible. I tried returning something a few days after i purchased it and I was only able to return a portion of it because the lady could not figure out how to do the return and after being there for 30 min and no manager in sight I had to leave.

You can always find a good deal and Big Lots reasonable doesnt hurt to pocketbook

Poor selection compared to close stores in sister cities. Id sooner make the trip to the La Habra or Hacienda location.

Came just to “look” what’s new and I could use. Saw they are having all “patio” items on sale buy one get one 50%. I was interested in cushion sets $50 each. I need four which could save me $50 if I’m fact they are a part of their promo. I asked an employee and she said she didn’t know if they were a part of it. No big deal, I can ask someone else. As I’m ready to pay I asked the cashier same question to which she answer “I don’t know and my manager in out to lunch”. Again ok no big deal. They got $95 out of me but they lost $150 if I’m fact the items were bogo 50% too. More training needed or employees who actually care about making a sale. I’m disappointed, I needed and wanted those sets but not willing to come back to ask again. Will go to the one in la habra instead and hope for better service
