It was busy but they got us seated very quickly. now about the food, it was the best steak Ive had in years! I give it 5 stars! I think I scored a girlfriend over this meal! 👍

I must confess that the outside of McBride Land & Cattle Co has seen better days with the Native American Statue leaning closer to the sidewalk, the old sign, and the building itself. Normally with dark ambient lighting in the evenings, it is slightly hard to see the country inspired decor. The food is simply amazing. The meat is cooked to your request with a hearty side of your choosing. The salads are quite delicious with bacon, cheese, and ranch served on the side. The staff is quite helpful and friendly to boot.

Phenomenal service. Got there early as locals know this place gets busy. New menu with some great additions. Clean. No offensive odors. AC perfect. Waitress on the mark and genuinely friendly. She loves her job. Prices fair and the meal???? Oh my. Perfect. The cookware dead on with the steak. Cant wait to go back. Thank youMc Brides.

An unassuming from the outside restaurant, but inside very comfortable and very delicious fresh food served.The steak was very good and the side dishes were tasty too.The only thing that did not quite satisfy us: It was cold, so you better take a sweater.I would go back with my guests.

That was our worst experience ever in your restaurant. We had a party of 10 people. At least 6 didnt have steaks cooked to their order. The waitress did the best she could under the circumstances. We were told the cook walked out. Not a good experience for a nice family birthday meal.

Steak was DELICIOUS 😋 however the asparagus was over cooked. Service was phenomenal though. Wasnt busy at all either. We went to the downtown location.

The steak here is tender and fresh, the best Ive ever had, Texas roadhouse is great but McBride takes the cake, they are truly good and for what you get totally inexpensive, if you are ever in that area it will be the place to go to, cozy and very family oriented.Even the salad was good.

Mcbrides downtown is one of my favorite steak house. Im going to order steak, shrimp, grilled chicken. Or any combination of those 3. Their chicken fried steak or chicken is good too. The portions are very generous. Well be back. Enjoy.🍺

Hands down the best steaks in town and my first choice when thats what I want. Not sure about their other main course offerings, and the sides are on par with most places in town. That said, if steak is the goal, Ive not found anyone else here that rivals these guys.

Not a good experience! We were the first to arrive when they opened at 5:00. It took 25 minutes to get a sample of wine. Our waitress said the bar was not open yet. By the time we got our bottle of wine, we had already been there 32 minutes (yes, I was timing it). Our wine did come in a nice marble wine holder. The fried mushrooms were almost burned. The crab cake had a lot of breading—I didn’t even taste any crab. The sautéed mushrooms were very salty, almost not edible for me. The steaks were flavorful and cooked perfectly. We asked for a manager, but was told there was no manager on duty. Hubby went the next day to speak to a manager. She shrugged everything off, saying they were short staffed. We won’t return.

Even if just passing through Wichita Falls, this old school steakhouse is worth pulling off the road to visit. Friendly, prompt service.

Very good food and the best stuffed crab you will ever eat. Only down fall I have is the building is old and theres no accessible restrooms for wheelchair folks. Unless you can walk in the restroom then your out of luck. Just wish they updated their building as great as their food !

McBride is a supper club cut out of the traditional places I grew up visiting. Theyre dealing with the Coronavirus restrictions as well as anyone can, and I appreciate them doing it. Now I committed the cardinal sin, instead of ordering a beautiful juicy steak in beef country I got some grilled salmon. It didnt faze the chef one bit, it was cooked perfectly. The sides all done to a turn. The waitress was very nice and personable, and very helpful. If we ever get back to Wichita Falls well be sure to stop in and try a steak!

Locally owned. Being downtown its out of the way. Dinner is usually not as busy. We got our seats in the first five minutes. Made our order got the with no screwups and enjoyed great diner. If you are from out of town travelling. This a must place to eatNick nellos

For many years I have been going to McBride and it is still one of my favorite places in Wichita Falls. Absolutely recommend

No fancy or upscale atmosphere. Jut good simple food. Went on a Sun evening and there were 4 or 5 tables of 8 or more people.

If there is a better steak in Wichita Falls Texas I would like to know where, that doesnt include your backyard, haha. Many many years this landmark has survived and my lunch yesterday was proof positive standards have not slipped.

Ordered 14oz ribeye med rare Togo with garlic mashed potatoes and salad with blue cheese. Steak was way over done and lacked any flavor. Mash potatoes had no garlic taste, however best blue cheese dressing Ive had in a while. But almost 30 dollars for a terrible steak was very disappointing. Was hoping for a wonderful meal.

Draft beer not very good then brought bottled beer that even waitress said wasnt very cold. Sent that back also. Table sticky and just wasnt good experience. Hadnt been in years and now probably while before I try again. I dont get it...

I have been coming here over 20 years. I was there to take my son out for special birthday dinner. We drove 1.5 hours to get there and arrived at 1:24 Due to 287 rd construction. The girl was very rude and said she would not serve us as they were due to close at 1:30. You would think with covid and such they would be happy to have the business. I am very disappointed and I will not be back.

A must go to in Witchita Falls. Drive by the Agricultural center after you leave to see if anything fun is going on their for after dinner. The ribeyes are ALWAYS on point. They are delicious and very satisfying. It is complemented with the salad and baked potatoe. highly recomment this place

I have been here twice with my family and both times we have been seated pretty quickly. The service is always great. The steaks are excellent. The only complaint I have is that the steak is slightly over cooked. I always ask for a medium-rare steak, and both times it has come out medium, but it is still a pretty good steak.

Terrible service, she was all over the place, order a filet and it was chewy and no flavor, chicken strips had like a weird taste, never again.

I had 10 ounce ribeye steak at McBrides tonight brought it home it was perfect the meal was outstanding and the steak was cooked precisely to my taste and McBrides I love the Indian that stands on the corner of your lot and I love the building you’re in and that you’ve been in all this time please never change

The atmosphere was fantastic and simple. No big pictures or peanuts in the ground. Just tables, chairs, and a large mantle in the middle of the joint. The portions were more then generous and the staff was friendly. I cant give it five stars simply because the steak wasnt spot on. The wifes was a charred and undercooked (Still good though) and mine wasnt charred at all (again still good). If I could do 4.5 stars I would.

Went for a birthday get together, waitress was rude very unfriendly.she reached over people for drinks,slammed refills down, threw the condiments in middle of the table. Told the people at the register still no return call from the owner.

Went tonight with my family service was good. However the food didn’t have much flavor. I’ve always been told this place has some of the best Prime Rib in town, so that’s what I got. It was cooked right but had no flavor. For the same price I’ve gotten 4oz larger prime rib and better flavor at Roadhouse. I may try again down the line but it’s kind of a let down.

We went here because Roadhouse was packed. Wasnt the best but it tasted good and our server was nice.

This establishment served up the TASTIEST sirloin I have ever eaten! Every bite was infused with a fabulous smoke flavor that would have surely been destroyed with the taste of seasonings and steak sauce! Husband said his prime rib was perfectly cooked rare to his request. My veggies were great. Yummy grilled asparagus. Grandson said cheese burger was really good. Very enjoyable experience. Great server

Mcbrides land and cattle co is quite the acceptable eating establishment. The food here is hearty and made well. Keep in mind though it is a steak house so if you get something other than steak it may not be up to expectations. For instance I had the frog legs and while they were good quality frog legs from what I could tell they tasted quite bland and lacked seasoning. When going I would recommend getting what a steak house makes best. A nice juicy medium rare steak.

I have been recommended this place so many times. I finally got to try it.Oh my goodness. If you havent been here, you are missing out! The resturaunt is a very gorgeous rustic themed southern den. The food is PHENOMENALLY delicious! Its worth it. The quality is great here and worth the price.

This was the first time coming here. I looked up restaurants on Google maps. I found McBride Land & Cattle Co was near by and the reviews were good. We were seated right away, and the food was really good (once the waitress got the order correct). I ordered the mesquite grilled quail and my friend had the pork chops. but by the time the waitress got our order right, the food was cold and i had to leave. I took most of it home in a to-go box. I was there for an hour and a half. The waitress that served us had an attitude like she didnt want to be there. She was slow, and kept getting our order wrong. The service was so bad, i cant justify giving anymore than a 2 star review no matter how good the food is.

My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was great. Waitress was attentive. Great meal!

Have not had better service or better tasting food ever for the price given. So good we went back the next day for lunch again. Will probably go again tomorrow. Had the chicken fried chicken and then again the ribeye. Both were exceptional and the service was on point.

First time Ive been there that I wasnt totally satisfied. The service was slow,....even getting seated. My girlfriend had to send her steak back to get it cooked enough for her. And the tray for the baked potato extras never arrived. Everything tasted fine, but hopefully this will be an isolated incident.
