First time visiting this location. Nate our service agent, on the service isle, was super friendly and helpful. He listened, was attentive. Gave us a cost saving alternative. We had coffee and water while we waited on a very comfortable couch. He even went the extra mile to try and diagnose a possible tire pressure sensor issue.

Scott takes good care of me, even bumped me up to first in line on an emergency for (apparently ubiquitous on GDI-T 1.6L equipped vehicles) misfiring cylinder due to sub-standard factory coil packs. Car works much better (still awaiting the other 3 coils) and didnt miss a day of work (air traffic controller, your country thanks you, Scott). Ive been having burning of oil issues, I keep up on my maintenance more than most people. Get the run around of why my engine isnt getting replaced yet when its under warranty. Get charged for a part for my a/c that didnt need to be changed. So take my car back and they have it for a month. Communication wasnt really there on what was going with my vehicle and when I get it back, I was told it had a new oil change and was completely ready to go everything was fixed. Just to get home and realize that theres no oil in my engine, my car is rummaged through, my cabin air filter is missing and now have more noises coming from it.

Weve had our 2017 Sonata serviced at this location. Almost every time weve gotten it back from the service department something has been something wrong with the car. From electrical issues to lug nuts falling off. Most recently we had the car in for a new set of tires, this past Sunday we discovered 3 lug nuts missing off of one wheel. This is the second occurrence of lug nuts not being properly torqued from this service department. UNACCEPTABLE. This could have caused an accident and/or death.

At the start of May this year, my husband and I traded in our Camero for our wonderful Veloster. Our Salesman Jonathan (aka Tank by some) was a blessing in disguise. I took my car there for an oil change and they got my car in right away. Even though it didnt take long to change the oil they thoroughly looked over the engine, brakes, and tires. I was told about a recall I wasnt aware of and they ordered parts for it and was promptly taken care of. Ill be taking my car back in the future. Service was great.

We just purchased a 2021 Hyundai Sonata. We live in Baxter Springs, Ks 3.5 hours away, I made a call to Trystan Tyner sales person, told him what i desired, and what I had to trade in, plus had negative equity. He looked found exactly what I desired. Took all of our information, gave to Eric the finance person. They were great, Eric had it approved and done in an hour. Mr Tyner drove the new one to my home with the paperwork, and took the trade in back. They went beyond anything they had too. I recommend them highly, Mr. Tyner was very polite, asked detailed questions on our wants and needs.

The only negative..... in this time of pandemic and corona virus, the Hatchett Hyundai West associates who I dealt with WERE NOT wearing masks. The majority, if not all, of the customers, were wearing masks. I find it a bit disconcerting that your associates arent asked/told to wear masks when they are dealing closely with customers. For example, when an associate was checking me out, going over my paperwork and we were in close proximity, she did not have a mask on, even though I did.This pandemic is real to me, and I truly think your associates would have the courtesy to treat customers with kindness and concern by wearing a mask. Thank you for letting me vent.
