This is a good Meineke, Rick and the fellas are more trustworthy then plenty of other brands of auto shops. They did some great work a while back on my trucks exhaust, and helped send me to one of their bigger shops to have a air suspension to coil over conversion kit installed on my Lincoln Town car. Now my car not only is level instead of sagging in the back, but rides even better then before. These guys are great I would recommend them to anyone needing auto repair work done.

We are usually very pleased with this location. I’d scheduled an appointment to have an oil change done early Saturday morning before a day of work and other engagements. When we dropped off the vehicle we double checked to be sure the service would be done in the time frame we would need - if it couldn’t be we would just have to reschedule. Unfortunately, it took over an hour longer than we were told and having an appointment was pointless. Pretty disappointed that it wasn’t better communicated to us. The service was done well and the price was fair however.

The staff were very nice, and kept me updated. Even though they had trouble getting the correct part they ordered in, they let me know what was going on and when it finally got there everything was nice and quick.

Never been to Meineke before. Kyle was very professional and answered any questions I had. I came in to have air conditioner checked but also ended up needing my brakes replaced and was able to get it done that day. Will definitely come back there for my car needs.

Originally went in for a belt change because of the squeaking noise belts may make at times. The mechanics here found the problem and it was not the belt but a minor solution. They called me to in let me know the vehicle is fixed but they also informed me of the status of my battery and the issues it is having. They fixed that problem as well. I was without my vehicle for about an hour in total. This company is reasonably priced and DID NOT try to get over on me.

I been going here for 4 year and Rick is always professional kind & helpful. I dont know the guys that are doing the work but everyone demonstrate a great demeanor kindness and conversation is great. I went in for an oil change and an analysis of my vehicle. They failed to include that I needed new tires in the verbal report (I was not given a paper inspection of recommendations as requested). Not even a week goes by and Im on the side of the road with an unusable tire. Although they did charge me $800 for a brake job but didnt bother to mention I needed new tires? This is extremely unprofessional and I will never visit another meineke. The oil change price was ridiculously high at $65 when Ive been in before and have paid $25. And I even got a couple free oil changes through vouchers in the mail. Things have changed in the company policy and I will go local from now on.

I would highly recommend this place! The 21st & Amidon location always has the best customer service, they always go the extra mile. It’s hard to find a service shop that you can actually trust. Most places will tell you how many things on your vehicle needs replaced, when a majority of the things are completely fine. I will continue going here for the superior customer service, the excellent communication & the best value in town for your service needs!

Would not recommend. 21st and Amidon in Wichita. Two reasons. About a year and a half ago we bought tires there…they didn’t have the tools to properly balance our tires so instead of telling us that before they put the tires on they just sent us on our way with unbalanced tires…second we got our oil changed and I told my husband I really didn’t want to go back there in the first place I said you better stop and check before you come home so he did just that. Lifted the hood and the engine was covered in oil and it was a quart low. Really?

Thursday is ‘Ladies Day’ at Meineke. Called to schedule my Appt (21st & Amidon-Wichita, KS) and spoke with THE nicest man! Took my car in for an oil change and the service was awesome! I was in and out fairly quickly, but what stood out was the kindness of the owner/manager, maybe. I will definitely return!

Always take my car to them they are very friendly and always squeeze me in when to get my car worked on when i hadnt made an appt they sre very professioal and do a great job .

I used this Meineke service for quite a few years now, and always I was satisfied with the job they performed.

Set appointment at 12:30 but was available by 11:30 and they had me come in. Called with estimate before doing work. Since it’s an older car it took a little long to complete the job. Took 4 hours but only charged what they estimated. Also gave a discount to keep the cost at the estimate.Nice, friendly guys and very professional.They were recommended by 2 of my sisters. I think I found my new mechanics.

Owner/Manager was incredibly helpful and super pleasant. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing things to an older lady, and really took the time for her to understand. You can tell he wasn’t and would never take advantage of someone not understanding car maintenance.

This is the only place I will take my car for maintenance. The manager Rick is such a great guy to work with. I never have to worry about being overcharged or shady work. All of the guys there are professional, well educated on cars, honest and I always trust and value their opinion. I never have to worry about my vehicle because I know its in good hands.

Amazing place for car care! Prices are seriously unbeatable! Very polite, straight to the point, not pushy at all and no up-selling. My vehicle takes synthetic and usually costs over 50 for just an oil change. At Meineke its just a little over 30 plus tire rotation and more!

I scheduled an appointment online and it only took them about an hour to change my oil and run a full diagnostic check on my car. They were also nice enough to wait for me a few minutes after closing time while my wife drove me to pick up my car. All-around very personable and helpful employees.

I took my car in for new brake pads and an oil change. Due to mis-communication in the business, they didnt get to the job until the 2nd day. The manager knocked some off the bill to cover for my inconvenience. I was satisfied with the work when it was done.

2 times now Ive had an appointment, both time to for me to wait an hour before they are able to get my car in, just for them to tell me they cant see where the problem is coming from.

Rick at Meineke quickly resolved several issues with the air conditioner for my 84 year old mother. She said the air has never been that cold. In my 8 years of experience the shop is honest, knowledgeable and they dont sell you anything you dont need.

Was not told the truth and had to order the new tire again due to the managers fault. Even tho i paid for a brand new tire i was offered a used one. I was very unhappy and will not be returning.

I do my own repairs on my vehicle I changed the front inner and outer tie rods and both lower control arms it was my personal day today vehicle I took it into Meineke just for in a front end alignment Evans fast and quick I will give him that but when I getting drove my car off the sway and my vehicle was ten times worse than it was before I decided to do the repairs and take it in for the alignment it was my first and my absolute last time I will ever choose this car service

I came in on Wednesday Having an issue with my breaks after going to another shop. The manger told me to bring the truck in and he would get on Thursday telling me it wouldn’t cost more than $200. They didn’t have my truck finished till Monday and the charged me nearly double the original quote. Driving it less than 10 miles after picking it up my breaks began rubbing as I drive down the road. The reason I chose meineke over the other shop was because they said the would get it done faster and cheaper than the other shop. The total was indeed more than quoted by the first shop. Overall I’m unhappy and really disappointed in the quality of work I received.

They were very friendly.. It was a2hour Wait, but I knew ahead of time. When they got to my car, they got it done fast.. They also made sure all my tires had the Same amount of air in them. I will go back.

Hello ... I took my vehicle into your service center on August 19, 2020. I have been a customer of Meineke for years as well as my friends and family. I took my car in to get a diagnostic on repairs that I need done and my Route 66 warranty listed you as a preferred customer. I spoke with your Manager at the Seneca location in Wichita, Kansas. He advised me he knew the repairs that were needed, however he didn’t have time to call my warranty department that day. He stated he would give me a call Friday when he returned to the office as he was going to be off on Thursday. I have literally called your location daily to try and get an update on the stays of my vehicle repairs and still have nothing!I really feel discriminated against not only because I am a female but a minority as well! First of all why should I have to call back daily to try and get someone to do their job?! Secondly, why am I not getting any assistance? I am beyond upset at this point and would really like to speak to someone on the corporate level! As of today August 27, 2020 at now 2pm I still have not heard from anyone from your store. I have never been treated in this manner and I feel like this needed to be reported! This has been the most horrible Meineke experience I have ever had!

I made an appointment to get an oil change at 11am. It took them 6 HOURS to change my oil. What’s even worst is they NEVER said it would take that long. If they would’ve told me they were backed up or really busy, I would’ve taken my vehicle elsewhere. But instead I was left calling to see when my vehicle would be done and every time I called they said “it’ll be done in a couple hours.”Don’t go here, you’ll get the run-around about your vehicle. Also there is no point in making an appointment online. They put on my paperwork that I was a “walk-in” anyways. My first time ever going to Meineke and definitely my last.

Very good, friendly service. They don’t rip you off or try to generate extra revenue by adding not required maintenance. While I was waiting for an oil change a customer inquired as to cost to change a bulb. Manager said they would not charge if it was easily accessed, just cost of bulb. Nice!

Always friendly & fast. There’s always a coupon for an oil change and usually one for any other work. Rick is not only the manager, but he will do any work he needs to do get the job done. He doesn’t push any unneeded work, but he does let you know if there’s any risks coming up in the near future.
