I used WWFS to restore the second story bedroom straight grain fir wood floors in my 1910 Craftsman Bungalow. They arrived on schedule and had the work completed in less than a week. My floors were a mess with paint, stains, gouges, etc. They now look brand new and I couldnt be more pleased with the crew of Lance and Carlos - great ambassadors for the company. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Im sure Ill be using them in the future on other projects! (and they didnt leave a mess)

We were very pleased with the work Wichita Wood Floors did in our kitchen. We had water damage and had to have the existing kitchen floor sanded & refinished. Since this was being done, I wanted them to match the color of the floor in our living room. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

WWFS was easy to work with. Dave personally came out to our home with some samples from emails that we sent on our particular style and wants. He took all his measurements and Robin provided us a fast quote that included sales of certain products they knew that we were interested in. They did everything we could ever have wanted from help picking out what style of wood flooring to go with our home, informative on the entire process on ordering product & scheduling the install. WWFS followed through on everything they said theyd do and Dave and Robin even personally delivered & unloaded our flooring the week before the install so it would acclimate to our home. Their installation crew was very professional, punctual and respectful to our home from demo day until completion. We love our real wood floors and wished we wouldve done it years ago. It adds such value to our home.

She and Jesse and their installers have a lot of knowledge and experience in both installation and maintenance of both natural woods and engineered floor coverings.Kevin and Paul, our installers, were always on time, worked hard, were careful, and cleaned up well after each days work. We live in an old house in College Hill. Our main staircase needed refinished but we were apprehensive to have it done. I am super picky and I wanted the stairs to look perfect. After two years of putting it off, we had Wichita Wood Floor Specialists refinish our floors.They spent 14 hours sanding our stairs - I kept track of the time. The sanding was excellent - the stairs looked perfect even without the stain and poly. The stain they used is a perfect match. The stairs look absolutely perfect. I was beyond impressed.We used Great American Hardwood Floors for a previous house in 2007 and Wichita Wood Floor Specialists was SO much better as far as the quality of the job. If you are picky, this company is for you!

I had them clean wood floors in my living, dining and bedroom last year for an employee party. I gave them a challenge by showing them a white towel and asked if after they cleaned the floors I could wipe this white towel across the floor and it would still be white? Jesse & Rachel Sample worked patiently with me several months in advance of the work to be done on my floors to pick out to best shade of stain. He came out and did several samples of colors so I could best pick what suited us. Then, they did a fantastic job getting rid of the old carpet, sanding down my existing floors, and staining it a beautiful color. Then the shiny part!! Our dining room, living room, and hallways look stunning. The transitions to the other rooms off these main rooms were made to fit each doorway (which were all different). I half expected to come home to a powder residue mess over everything, but the place was left tidy and clean for our return. Best decision ever!

The owner, Jesse, and his trainee Anthony showed up on time, did a great job, moved my furniture back into place. Rachel, in the office, was very helpful and pleasant on the phone. I would recommend them.

We had shopped a multitude of flooring stores for prefinished wood flooring products and decided to compare their prices to the other stores since we knew they carried the manufacturer of the flooring we had chosen. We had also used them to refinish a floor in our rental house that were very satisfied with and wanted to give them the opportunity to give us an estimate. After meeting with Jesse and having answered all of his probing questions and getting more insight into the pluses and minuses of the myriad of choices, we determined that a custom oak floor was what met our needs. We found out that it didnt cost much more than the prefinished product and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

These guys are fantastic! I have a friend who used them so I asked him if he like them. He told me that Id have nothing to worry about if I used them, and he was 100% correct. They are very professional, they arrive every time when they say theyll be there, they return all phone calls and their finished work looks amazing! I had my veneer oak floors refinished and they look brand new! I also had 3 floorboards that were dinted and they took it upon themselves to replace the boards, even though I told them not to worry about it! I simply couldnt be happier with these guys and this company. I will certainly call them again the next time I need floor work done.

We pulled up carpet to reveal a hardwood floor that adjoined an existing floor, but it was a different color. WWFS matched the stain and finish exactly! They were prompt, friendly, professional, and provided all-around great service. We are very pleased, and would recommend WWFS to anyone. Great job guys!

We had new floors matched to the existing floor. Paid extra for the bona hd finish. Either it was not applied correctly or not the product its represented. Its dull shows marks or water spills. Called Dave the owner would not talk to me or return my call. Not a professional way to run a business. The owner came and looked at the floor in his opinion I had a dirty floor because I didnt use a cleaner . I do have areas that are worn and finish coming off. I do not have buyers remorse I like my floors its the Bona HD finish that I am not happy with. I am very happy with the integration of the fifty year old floor to the new floor beautiful job . I wish I would have know more about the Bona and how it wears before I paid an extra 400 dollars for the product that was my concern not buyers remorse. Jesse the original owner was the reason we went with Wichita Wood floors sad he sold the business.

We had 3 different companies give us a quote on refinishing our hardwood floors. WWFS were the most professional and informative of all the companies that gave us a quote. They were professional, and efficient when doing the work. Beautiful work when they were finished. Not too long after that we had them refinish the hardwood floors on a 2nd house we were selling. Again, beautiful work. Wouldnt recommend another company to anyone! Dependable, trustworthy and great work!!

We had WWFS refinish and plank our old, out dated, scratched up oak floors. We cannot express how happy we are with their work! Kevin and Paul were amazing to work with. They were on time every day and never left any messes (we typically expect to see messes because we were used to that with all our other contractors). They also finished their work when they said they were going to finish (we havent experienced that with any other contractor). Our floors look amazing! You cant even tell they are the same wood floors! Thank you, Kevin, Paul and WWFS for such amazing work on our floors! We would recommend you to anyone any day!

I like the flooring I picked out....however it has been a little over a year since they installed and we are now having issues with the flooring getting gaps and something under some of the boards that look like nail pops that they are telling me they can not do anything about. I paid over 10,000 for this flooring that I am not sure will even hold up. I called in December to talk with the owners Rachel and Jesse Sample and after 3 weeks of no one calling me back I went into the store and was told they sold it in December to someone else. So to say I am a little disappointed is an understatement. I would not use them again!!

Monica and I had a friend recommend Wichita Wood Floor Specialists, and we went in with one idea on what we wanted, and before long we went a totally different direction. Jesse, Rachel and Monica were all a great help, and worked with our schedule to make it best for us.The actual work, we had a large area of oak cut out, carpet pulled out of two rooms, and then we had Castle Combe pre-finished floors installed. Kevin and Paul were magnificent; they cleaned up after themselves, went out of there way to take care of our concerns, and were pleasant and respectful.WWFS scheduled a week to complete the job, and they were finished in 3 1/2 days, and now we have them coming back to do another room in the same material.Theres no need to look anywhere else, because everyone that is a part of this small business wants to make sure that you are a happy and satisfied customer.
