Great place! The shop was nice and had a warm atmosphere. The owner greeted me and was very friendly. I ordered the 4 cheese spinach quiche, a large breakfast bierock, a scone, and a medium latte that the owner custom flavored for me. It was all amazing!! The bierock was the best Ive had. The large slice of quiche was flavorful and came with a mixed fruit side! The latte was not too sweet and flavored very well. I also got 2 1/2ibs of coffee beans that I am excited to try at home! One flavor of coffee was caramel pecan roll and the other was organic java expresso. Everything was cheaper than I expected, all of that was about $20. The service was a little slow, but that was due to friendly conversation. I definitely plan to return!

The coffee was good and the food was great! Everything made from scratch! The prices were awesome! We got 2 coffees, 2 bierocks, and coconut pie for $15! The owner was super cool too and told us stories about where he’s been and what he’s done! Definitely a hole in the wall to stop by!

Awesome place! I got the bier rocks and they were great! Good price and a nice place to get breakfast as well! They have breakfast sandwiches in the shape of bier rocks! Highly recommend!

Small but fun little place that is very friendly has a variety of homemade goods and great specialty coffee. It has a really interesting feel quite homey.

Good dirty chai and bierock

The prices are good, and the coffee is decent. But everything I ordered was OK. The place could have afforded to be much cleaner. It would have bothered me pre-pandemic, but now it is even more important to heighten awareness. There was no mask wearing sign posted, and the barista who made our drinks was not wearing one when we walked in. He put it on after the fact, but when he was wearing it, it was barley even covering his mouth. There were also two patrons who did not even bother to put on a mask when others were around. The customer service was great, but that is not the main reason I go to a coffee shop. If you want a better and safer experience, I would go elsewhere.

Kevin is a sweetheart! The service was incredible, and the flavored coffee and apple pie were even better!

I was recommended to Java Villa by a friend. When I went inside. I was met inside Java Villa by the owner (Kevin, I believe). He informed me that his coffee shop is the oldest and longest running independent coffee shop in Wichita, for 23 years. It shows! The coffee was delicious and the service was prompt. I ordered a Zebra Mocha (white chocolate and milk chocolate) and throughly enjoyed it throughout my work day.Unfortunately, I was on the clock, so I did not get to sit down I side Java Villa and get the full coffee shop experience; however, I would reccomend the coffee and the experience!

Steep in the door and you feel at home. Smell is amazing, fresh baked goods real; yes I said real coffee with real shots. I will drive out of my way to stop in here then hit another chain coffee whatever store. Friendly people with a cozy environment. Stop in for a bite and of course coffees.

I love going to different coffee shop around Kansas but this is by far my favorite one. Everything is amazing!

Really enjoyed my vanilla latte, very busy when I went but the man behind the counter was working extremely hard and I was given excellent service!

I have known Kevin since Java Villa was a twinkle in his eye; since the business started and we were simply next-door neighbors; of course that is no more and I havent been to Java for years, having moved elsewhere. But I am back and I can tell you the recipes are all his own, all from scratch. You have no idea what he went through to make this business be a place where people can come and be known, not just a number in the fast food line. Very special place. Ask him about the giant wheeled bicycle; just a little eccentric sometimes; lots of fun!

Great breakfast bierocks, large or small. The service was super friendly and the coffee was amazing. Plenty of parking and a hometown feel. Dont leave without a homemade scone: Maple Pecan.

I have been going here for about 10 years, I now bring my whole family and there customer service here is priceless. The owner is very polite and informative about his products. I have never had a bad experience with the taste or promptness of my service. They taste just as good as the big buck coffee shops, yet cost a fraction of the prices. They also give good discounts to loyal customers. Wish I could rate 10 stars! ❤

I have been going to Kevins for 20 years. You will not find better coffee, bierocks, or desserts anywhere in Wichita or around the country. Kevin makes everything from scratch. The apple pie if my favorite. If you are going to Starbucks you are missing out on a quality coffee shop worthy of the BEST Pacific Northwest coffee rating. 5 Stars, Five Stars, Five Stars.

Little place that is easy to miss. The owner is really friendly and I get coffee here every weekend. The jalapeno quiche is amazing as well as the scones. He makes everything fresh.

A great alternative to Starbucks and youre supporting local business as well. I had a cafe mocha and a piece of jalapeno sausage quiche and both were very good. Small and quaint little shop that I will keep in mind next time in am in the area.

Owner is a very nice gentleman, great customer service. Nice traditional bierock. Also tried the breakfast bierock, which I preferred. Got a piece of Sour Cream Raisin pie which was delicious!

Best coffee shop in town and the quiche is to die for! Sodas, ice cream, muffins, scones you name it and Kevin probably has it. Also bierocks?! Heck yes! And you can order them in bulk!! Fantastic service with a smile, wifi, great cozy atmosphere. Java Villa has it all. Dont forget to ask about a punch card too. He also does catering!!

Quite possibly one of the most unique coffee shops around. The owner is super friendly and an excellent Barista. We will take extra 20 minutes to stop off of the turnpike to visit this Gem when we are traveling through the area. We were so happy to see this shop survive after the large chain coffee shop opened across the street

Java Villa is a little known secret in Wichita. The coffee is great and if you appreciate a good Bierock you owe it to yourself to try theirs. If you go any day, Monday thru Friday, Trinitie is always in a fantastic mood and shes a great conversationalist.

Not every one wants to hang out here... if there is a line maybe take more than one persons order at once or put some pep in your step... 20 minutes for 4 people in line wow.But literally don’t come here if you have anything to do in the next 30 minutes. I try to shop local my darndest but just hop across the street to Starbucks there might be 30 cars in the drive thru and people out the door but it will most definitely be quicker than here...Sorry for the rant but it has happened more than once and I stood in line for 20 minutes and still don’t have coffee...never will return.

WOW! What a find for us as we travel through Wichita, Kansas! Their chai tea latte is amazing! The best Ive had and I get chai tea at a lot of different places. We tried the Bierock, Apple Caramel pie and their famous Kentucky Derby pie. Everything we had was top-notch. The owner is friendly and passionate about making everything with quality. This is a nice, relaxing place to hang out and enjoy some really tasty stuff to eat and drink. We will definitely be back!
