The Donut Whole offers an array gluten free donuts (many of which we bought and are pictured below) every Sunday, which was our biggest draw — as we were accommodating team members with specific dietary needs. They met our needs perfectly, tasted wonderful, and the service was great to boot, as the barista on duty anticipated my needs by taking my coffee order while we were still in line. Given that I had somewhere to be, this was exactly the kind of thing to win me over on the 5-star rating. Great work, and I hope to see this place again!

I love going and getting their donuts. one of the best donuts around. I love they have vegan and gluten free donuts. This is the only place I have come across gluten and free and vegan donuts. I wish they had a few that were both. I am dairy and gluten intolerant and feel I cannot focus on one or the other at times. I always get disappointed with the coffee. They never give me enough milk or make my coffee super strong. My daughter loves the donuts but finds the hallway creepy. I always wish they had more seating and that the tables were cleaned more often.

Donut Hole made an amazing batch of birthday donuts for us. We vaguely asked for half red, half white donuts for pokeballs at a Pokemon party. And we picked up adorable, full-on pokeballs complete with black line and center circle details. We were very impressed and they were delicious too! Thank you, Donut Hole!

Been loving this place for over 6 years... Wish there were open 24 hours like they used to be :( or at least later then 3pm... Its not a fancy atmosphere but its fun and unique and the donuts first thing in the morning are so yummy...I prefer cake over fried anyway. The staff are usually always very nice also!! If youre worried about stale donuts in the afternoon come early or call your order ahead!!

Nope. Every single one was a cake donut. Nothing against the staff but they didn’t even know what a bear claw was and the glazed donut was-wait for it-another cake donut with icing This is called an iced cake donut, not a glazed donut. All tasted the same. No jelly filled ones eitherDisappointed

The one behind the counter had a bit of a spicy attitude, but overall was friendly. It was a disappointing experience. Youre paying for the location of the shop... Ill probably continue purchasing my donuts at Hurts.

The Donut Whole is a Wichita staple. A quirky, fun place that makes Wichita so cool. Local artists are featured on the walls as well as vintage and retro art and decor. The donuts are unique and tasty. The espresso drinks are excellent and the drip coffee is fine as well. Usually a few people there, during peak hours you may struggle to find a seat as its a small place, but the coffee and donuts travel well. My kids love donuts, so this is a family favorite.

All six donuts we had were too dense. The topping on one was meant to be crunchy but was instead stale. They make an effort, but I’m sorry to say the donuts were not great.

OMGosh, so...so good. I dont know what it is but they put something in their donuts that just make them better than most. It is out of our way to get to but well be back.

Best Gluten Free donuts in town!!! (Sundays & Tuesdays)

Very disappointed. Its been a while since Ive gotten gluten-free donuts and things have changed. They used to have one case for gluten-free donutsNow they have donutsxwith gluten right next to the gluten free! They also dont make the chocolate dough donuts anymore and they were real salty. I went in 20 minutes after they first opened and there were not many options. I think theyd be sold out by 12PM. They were also very rude.

I am in town for a Celebration of Life, woke up early, and thought Id grab doughnuts for everyone. This place was a little further away than a few, but the great reviews made me want to give it a try. And I am SO glad I did. They only serve cake doughnuts, but, they have so many varieties. Not only were the doughnuts delicious, but they were a hit with everyone. And the service was impeccable! Made for a great start to our day. I highly recommend checking them out, if you havent already. And if you have already been here, arent you due for another visit?!

These people really give a damn about donuts.Different kinds of toppings adorn multiple styles of donuts made from different ingredients.Today was buttermilk donuts day.Over 20 different kinds of topped donuts, with interesting and inventive names. I really liked the mint chocolate that I got and my kids loved the snakes on a plane.They also had an entire gluten free section, which my tummy did appreciate. The guy behind the counter was very patient and friendly to the family before and after me, and even changed his gloves to not infect the gluten free section.Ill not go anywhere else in Wichita for donuts.Small addition. I asked if they were ok with me getting a donut and milk for the homeless man outside. The guy at the desk said not to worry, he usually gives the homeless locals donuts. He didnt even let me pay for this one.

Discovered this delicious Donut shop about 3 yrs ago, cant skip it when in town. I highly recommend and the milkshakes are a must try.

The cake donuts are amazing and I love their flavor options! The Boba tea I got (hazelnut flavor) was delicious but the Boba pearls were a bit tough but I plan to try it again in the future!

Went on a Saturday early and their selection of donuts were not great. Only had a few choices out and they were almost gone. Did notice after we paid for our donuts they open oneof their cases and they had a better selection of donuts they hadnt put out. It been nice to have all the ones they have out for the customers to see.

Extremely disappointed with this place, I walk there at least twice a week to get coffee and donuts. This morning I had walked to get a donut and coffee, I had the exact amount of money for it, while walking my mask must have fallen out of my pocket. I opened the door and asked if they had complimentary disposable masks, the lady had said no, they are $1. I stated loud enough that I had not brought my entire wallet and if I buy a mask I won’t have enough to get what I planned on getting, and she responded they are a $1 in an extremely rude voice. With experiencing this it told me that they will not go out of their way by giving a .10 disposable mask in order to keep a regular weekly customer. No effort to say “we can serve you through the drive thru window” or “what would you like we can bring it out to you”. It’s small things like that, that customers remember and keeps them coming back. They have a sign that says support local, well how about support your customers who keep you open especially while the economy is crashing

These cake-style doughnuts feel very decadent to eat! Its not like eating air, the way you feel with some doughnuts. These doughnuts feel homemade, not mass produced. I recommend the triple berry flavor. And if you dont want to go inside, they have a drive through around back.

Definitely expensive the donuts wernt all they were cracked up to be and the bacon ones littery only had one bite worth of bacon for the whole donut the butterfinger on vanilla was pretty good though. The server however was rude as hell, when we ask for descriptions or what something was she either ignored us told us she couldnt help or just said im busy. Along with the fact she didnt make our beverages correctly. I understand being busy but the respones and tone of her voice was unprofessional and unpleasant for the experience. The only reason im leaving 2 starts is because of the butterfinger donut.

We get donuts from here because theyre good but their customer service is not good. They dont look at you when they talk. They dont respond when asked a question. They dont greet you and they dont smile..its as if youre bothering them. Ill be looking for another donut spot.

The new owners fired me without warning, with no previous write ups. Theyre doing the same to other hard-working employees as well. Theyve been involved in the store for less than a week and are running the place to the ground.This was the best job I ever had, I loved making the donuts, and I feel sorry for the future of this establishment if this is how the new owners are starting off.

Who doesnt love delicious cake donuts? The staff is always friendly. And they have a lot of good in-house made creations to choose from. The fact theyre open 24 hours is always nice if youre looking for some late-night sweets.

These donuts were great. Friendly staff. Only disappointment is that they make cake donuts only, no yeast donuts. All the donuts in our box were all good though.

They have delicious Gluten Free donuts on Tuesdays. Go early for variety. I went after 5 and they only had one flavor left. The flavor I tried is called Old School. Its dusted in cinnamon sugar. These are way better than the Gluten free frozen kind Ive been buying from the grocery store. I ended up eating two while driving home. The donuts were moist and a perfect chewy texture. There are beautiful air pockets creating a light, not too dense cake donut. You wouldnt know they were gluten free. What I like most is a slight hint of coffee bean when you first taste the donut. Im not sure if that flavor was intentional or if the donuts took on that flavor because of coffee being brewed -either way its tasty. Im definitely going back early the next Tuesday.

Definitely the go to donut shop! If you havent been here, you gotta go! There is a flavor for every pallet here. Nothing plain Jane here unless you want it that way. I prefer the citrus glazes and absolutely love the lavender and tarot glazes! They have musicians regularly, and show art too. Good selection of coffee type beverages. Clean restrooms. Eclectic decor and atmosphere.

Quirky, fun, creative, and most importantly delicious. The Donut Whole is a one of a kind experience unique to Wichita. Their famous cake donuts are my favorite in Wichita - not to mention the most unique. And their coffee is the best in town (eat your heart out, Starbucks). New management has made some important changes to the Donut Whole experience, most importantly to the freshness of the donuts.

A local favorite experience

Delicious and creative donuts! They also have a wide variety of gluten free donuts! They are also very good at making sure that cross contamination is a non issue. Friendly staff as well! I had a small mocha which was very rich with a pleasant aroma and a chocolate donut. Needless to say I was bouncing off the walls but it was so worth it!

Love the atmosphere, the delicious donuts, and the friendly staff! The unique flavors are so cool! Will be going again!

Been here many times while living in Wichita and never once have I not enjoyed it, if you are in downtown skip the star bucks, skip the Duncan donuts or the Krispy Cream, & make your way over to the donut hole for the BEST cake donuts in the whole of wichita hands down

I like independent and unique places. You cant get much more unique and independent than this! Great donuts, lots of choices, live entertainment, an offbeat vibe and heck if theyre not pretty darn quick in case youre not just wanting to hang out and actually need to get gone. Kudos!

Excellent service

The food was good the milkshakes were really good. The price was a little high but the quality was excellent. Lots of room had a very homely feel to it.

Was worried things would not be as good after the ownership change, but they have managed to keep what made the DH so good and add to it. Ive been impressed with how fast they are at the order counter now and I love seeing the donuts in the display case where its easy to pick what you want. Coffee is great too! Highly recommend. This is a staple of Wichita and the new ownership is honoring it.
