The guy at the counter greeted us when we came in, very polite. My son wanted to check out some Pokémon cards and the guy was so nice, answered every question and took the time with my kid. Great place for comics, table top games, figurines, and so so much more. My kid was all too eager to part with some birthday money and he went home with new cards and a big smile. Definitely coming back the next chance we get.

Highly recommend if you want a great price from great people!!!Met one of the owners, Julian (I forgot to ask how to spell it so my sincerest apologies if thats the wrong spelling), and my fiance and I were blown away by the selection, price, and customer service. We went in looking for Magic the Gathering cards. They were knowledgable of products, they asked if we were new to mtg and gave us some suggestions based on my skill level vs my fiances. They told us about their events. Conversations with them were easy and fun! We will most certainly be back here soon!!!

Fun shop, cool atmosphere, loads of different events! There isnt as big of a selection as other places for playing cards, but their comic book selection is extensive! They have loads of gaming tables to support events like MTG and D&D as well as board games and craft supplies for sale!

This has been our go-to place for years. There is something for everyone! They are experts and so awesome with our kids, all with different interests..Highly recommended!

Charging over retail for pokemon cards (pre-release battle styles for like $45, when suppose to be around $20), also high price retail for booster boxes for pokemon. I can understand why selling high price due to demand, probably wont do business with yall because of the up charge.

I have always had a great experience with Wizards Asylum, whether its was just shopping or selling. Staff know their stuff and are all around great people. Inviting atmosphere and the new layout is fresh and really shows how much they care about their local creators and nerd community.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had high hopes as I have just gotten into the Trading Card Hobby, went to go buy some sleeves for me and my friend (who I brought with me). I asked the lady if she had any older pokemon cards, she said no we do not *walks away* I then explain to her we are collecting and thats why I asked, she replies I dont really like pokemon cards. At that point I did not even want to purchase from this store but I went ahead to check out. She started to stare at the register, hands shaking, I ask if she is ok and she replied haha no I did not sleep last night. Wizards Asylum needs to be named crackhead asylum

This store seemed spacious and had a ton of comics available. The board game selection was a little lacking, but I did get some for 50% off when I went in. That is pretty amazing in itself. They seem to support the Magic the Gathering scene and have decent space for tournaments.

I never played Warhammer before, but the guys here helped me get started, they were super helpful and friendly! both locations are great.

Place is small but fun and the crowd you will normally find there are very helpful and kind. The store owner also seems like a very nice person but I didnt have much time to get to know him. Will definitely return to it.

Great place for TT games

Wizards Asylum has great, friendly staff who greet you by name at the door. Their comics, both new and back-issued are neatly arranged. They have some of the best selection in town. Im not a tabletop gamer, but if I were, I would definitely come here to get started.

Great service. I had made some last minute decisions about my army for an upcoming tournament, and they were able to get my models for 40K in-store in time to get them modeled for play. Good discounts as well, and a wide selection of games.

They made me leave, told me they were closed. Id never been in here before. 3 minutes later, they are letting others in. Oh well, guess my money isnt good enough, or I dont look that much like a Geek! Sorry Ill never go back!

I have always loved Wizards Asylum. We have been gong there for gaming (well, its mostly my husband, and sometimes the kids tag along) for close to 4 years, now. We have always loved the way they make a community, not just a retail store. They sell all kinds of stuff, but Im not an expert on that subject. I know they have comic books, board or table top games, and pieces for table-top games that dont come on boxes. Its a really neat place. You should totally check it out.

This store has a lot comic, toy, and gaming items. I visited during some sort of Magic card event or tournament so it was crowded but there were a lot of other folks in shopping the store. I was offered assistance and also noted staff interacting with regulars by name. The store is set up nicely but was challenging to get around with all the people... but I guess that is a good problem to have!

Im fairly new to tabletop gaming like Warhammer, and the employees here were super helpful in finding information for me and helping me make decisions for my army. They also suggested I join a couple of Facebook groups to help find others to play with. On top of that, they have several tables setup and ready to use for wargaming almost any time!

Now under new ownership! We had stopped going as often because our main focus is board games and the previous owner had stopped buying new ones, but the new owner has them in stock again! There is also a large selection of comic books, table top games, & card games. People are welcome to come play on one of their gaming tables at any time. Saturdays are particularly popular for patrons seeking games of warhammer or magic.

Took my son there to get some Pokemon cards and sleves. Alot of comics and magic the gathering cards, but few Pokemon or other cards if your into other trading card games. Friendly staff, was very helpful and offered several different options for sleeves and deck cases. Will be going back the next time my son needs cards.

For board games in Wichita, Wizards Asylum has a broader and more varied selection than most. Still not large by any means. If youre into comics or miniature games however, this place will serve you even better.
