Its not the fanciest store in town, but they have a great selection of snacks and drinks, and prices are in-line with other convenience stores. It was all well stocked during my visit. They also serve pizza and fried chicken. I didnt pick up any chicken during this particular visit but it smelled amazing. The employees at the store are really cool and made me feel welcome. They sell Top Tier rated Phillips 66 gas, which is one of the best brands of fuel you can put in your car with 30% more detergent additives than the Top Tier minimum, which itself is 3x the EPA-mandated minimum. The pumps are brand new and were relatively busy during my visit, so Im not worried about getting stale gas.Overall, the place is a bit out of the way, but its well worth the stop if youre looking for a quick snack or soda run and a good tank of high-quality, name brand gas.
Were on the semi driving through Kansas hauling wheat. Its so hot we had to stop for a drink and have a restroom break so we stopped in here. It cant take too many big rigs..maybe room for two (and thats a big maybe) on the parking lot. With us parked here there is another big rig parked on the other side of the highway.Coming up to the entrance I can see they have an outdoor booth and theres bars on the windows and doors. We went in and while I got a drink my husband went to the restroom, he said was really clean. The womens on the other hand..had lots of toilet paper in the stool. Theres a sign that says to hold the handle down to flush that people obviously wasnt doing. The paper towel holder wasnt working but there was a roll on the back of the toilet. So it was clean except for the toilet. On the store floor, theres many options of items on the shelves and they looked well stocked. The cold food and hot food boxes had very few options. There is a table (with the chairs on the table during the COVID-19 pandemic) and a booth that is available to sit at. The cashiers were very nice and served great customer service. I wouldve given them 5 stars if their hot box had more options.
Pretty decent and quiet place. In the evenings or lunch time parking can be hard to find. Friendly staff. Only place in the whole county that sells Grinds. Best time to come in is early morning or late evenings.
New Owners are awesome!
