I ordered the curry chicken they cooked it up and I was out in about 10 minutes. It comes with regular rice which is cool I wish you had an option to add fried rice for a few more bucks or something. But overall it was good, nice spice a little more than what you would pay at other Chinese restaurants but I believe better quality more quantity and was definitely a great option at 1:30 am in Wichita when your options are few far and in-between definitely interested in trying out more dishes.

Messed up my last Togo order. Wanted to dine in for one last try. Called at 1.40 am to insure they are open. Gentleman said we close at 2.30 am, although Google says 3 am. I said ill be right there. Arrived at restaurant at 150 am. Walked in and Gentleman said only Togo. I said, you just told me 2.30. He said only Togo. I have a 2 hour drive so I really wanted dine in. I wont come back anymore. Lees is much better. I know this doesnt matter to gentleman, thats why Im not coming back

Still going after all these years. And still open crazy late! Perfect for food after the bars close or whatever.Moo shu pork was outstanding.However something was very... Wrong... With the chicken dishes we received... Perhaps we should have Stuck to breaded chicken dishes, as Ive heard they are very good.Will try that next time as I will still be returning.

They have wonderful service and prices!! Their plates are big enough to share and encouraged to do so!! They are open until midnight and they also sell hot saki and cold beer too. This place is a must to try out! My family will be returning!!

Ehhhh, I wouldnt recommend it. The wontons tasted very plain and had only cream cheese in them, nothing else. No scallions, onions, no flavor. The sesame chicken had more of a BBQ sauce on it, not really any oriental flavor. The pork lomein was pretty much spaghetti noodles with a faint stir fry sauce to it. Was looking forward to some good Chinese and this was not what we were expecting.

Family owned and local. If youre in search for a late night dinner, theres no better place. The owners are friendly and serve delicious food freshly made and fast. Give them a shot and youll not regret it.

I don’t like to do this but I felt it necessary to say this is by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. To be honest it reminded me of the white cooks in grade school attempting to serve us Asian food for lunch. It is seriously overpriced compared to quality. It is double what the price should be. It’s standard size portion which is fine, but the price didn’t match the quality. It not reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food wasn’t poorly prepared or anything is was just not good.

We just drove 10.5 hrs..seen this place was closest to our hotel and stopped there to get something to eat and the owner/hostess was very nice and concerned that we havent ate anything so she gave us some soup..very good soup..

I come here at LEAST once every few weeks for some chicken fried rice... they never miss. Huge portions, great owner and people, and it’s consistently great tasting food. If you love chicken fried rice, or any kind of great, authentic chinese food... give them a shot!!

I spent $31 and was greatly disappointed. The pan fried duck was subpar at best, and the only thing good about the combo fried rice was the portion size. Out of all the places I have eaten fried rice this was the second worst I ever had. Too bland, and to much eggs in it. I will go back to try something different though.

Prices are $10.50 for most things, the crab rangoon does not have crab in it. When you inquire about it the server/owner tells you she doesnt like it. Did not offer to return it or get us anything else. Well then why is it listed like that on the menu? Not worth it for fried dumpling and cream cheese. Egg rolls were really good! Food came with egg drop soup, which was good as well, and white rice. Food was fresh and hot. No knives provided, server/owner never offered drink refills or checked on us after food was brought out. She made it feel like the customers were an inconvenience. She would rather eat their food than provide good service. Second time trying this place in the evening. Wont return unfortunately.

This place is very run down. My booth wasnt even connected to the back of the seat. BUT... Everyone that works here is very nice, and the food wasnt half bad, for being the only place open at 1 in the morning besides McDonalds.

By far the most authentic Chinese place in the city, probably even the region. I have traveled around China. Double cooked pork and salt and pepper chicken are the best.

Never been here before and it was so worth the try! We were recommended salt and pepper chicken by a couple regulars and I couldnt have made a better choice! We were given a complimentary egg drop soup while we waited. The servings were more than enough for my group of four. Food came out fast and service was outstanding! Deserves every star!

I was surprised to see a Chinese place open so late, so my husband and I knew we had to try it! As soon as we walked in we could tell it was going to be good, just by the smell. We got combo fried rice, salt and pepper chicken, and clams in black bean sauce. The black bean sauce was the stand out of the entire meal! Everything was delicious, but the sauce...we dipped the chicken in the leftovers it was so good. It was a little pricey but the portions and quality justify the price! The only qualm I had with the meal is that about half of the clams could have been cleaned better, they were very sandy. But did I mention the sauce they were in???

Excellent service and the food was even better. My favorite was our waitress (maybe the owner?) Just yelled everything. Shes hilarious. Again the food was on point.

I have been going to this place for the last two and a half years. It’s been a good place serving amazing food with great and friendly service. It’s absolutely amazing and the atmosphere feels very relaxed and chill. The food is delicious, I mostly are the fried rice before I starting trying their entire menu. I commonly see people eat the crawfish order, but I have not gone around and tried it myself, although it smells amazing. Case and point? Amazing atmosphere, people, and food. I’ll be moving out of Wichita soon, will miss being a regular here.

Love the food and service here! Very big portions of food. The price ranges from 10-20$ dishes. But like I said the portion of food matches the price. 2 meals easily for me.

I went there last night I got sesame chicken and got 4 egg rolls it was almost $20 I have never paid that much for that same dish anywhere in town very disappointed in the price but I have to admit the food was really good

We got the duck, fried rice and lo mein. It was all so delicious. The duck was spicy but I love spicy. The staff was nice. But they did take awhile to bring us our to go containers. Besides that though, I would recommend! 👍

The food is very good here. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the fried rice tasted, the rice was full of flavor and the portion size was amazing! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They always treat you well. All the times I have gone it hasnt been very busy, maybe 1-2 other tables.The only time ive been disappointed was when we came late at night and they told us they were out of food. Definitely recommend this place.

I have to say this is some of the best and probably only authentic Chinese food in town. The staff are great and the waiter we usually get is really funny and helpful. Definitely try the yangzhou fried rice. Its a heaping pile of flavorful greatness. Most of the food is served in large portions and could easily feed 2-3 people, unless youre really hungry lol. And theyre open late which makes it really great for a late night craving or an after the bar meal.

5 stars because this is the absolute best food you can get after midnight. The menu prices are kind of pricey but the portions are huge. One meal is enough for two people for sure.On my visit I got the lo mein with veggies and I thought they were both fantastic! The lady running the place gave me great service and made me laugh.

I love me some Bai Wei. They are open late to pick up bussiness with the air force base. Always gigantic portions and delicious food with reasonable pricing. They even have egg drop soup before your meal for free. How many places do that? Not many in Wichita. Really nice staff here. The twice cooked pork minus the jalepeno is my favorite. ;)

This was the best overall experience I have ever had. The food is incredible and service outstanding. The portions are massive and fresh. The chef came out to make sure we enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back all while being clean and comfortable. I will definitely be coming here for all of my asian food cravings. I wish I could give more than 5 stars honestly.

Went there during one of the slow times. Normally Bai Wei is a normal 4/5 or 5/5. Went in and our waiter forgot about us. We gave our order and brings our drinks. Brings my Fiance and one daughters food out later, and then we have to remind him that two other people at the table were waiting ten minutes later for their food. Of course he went right back and brought it out.Combine the fact my Daughter and Fiance were done with their food before we got ours, and that it took five to ten minutes of our drinks being empty before he noticed and brought a refill. Even that wouldnt of been done if the lady who was helping him didnt come out on the floor.The fact of the matter, great food, terrible service with a waiter that pretty much didnt exist. The only time in my life have I left a 0 tip and instead written a reminder that a waiter needs to be there to help his guest. Will be some time before I come back.

This is hands down the best food I have had in a long time. The Mongolian beef has so many layers of flavor its unbelievable. The serving portions are huge, the staff is extremely friendly, and the overall atmosphere is amazing. This should definitely be a stop for anyone looking for a great meal.

The lady at this establishment is very rude. We had been here two times but I never liked the rude lady that worked there. I had come in to cancel my order and the the lady got an attitude with me. I tried to let her know my girlfriend was sick in the car vomiting and her response was unbelievable...she had the audacity to say its not My fault. I was appalled! At the same time I was there at least picking up my order up. She started raising her voice at me telling me I need to pay for both orders. After telling her I was willing to payfor one she took the order away and said she wasnt selling it to me anymore. This is not how you run a business and this is the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I will never come here again and I would advise anyone to stay away from such an awful environment.

Bai Wei is a usual haunt of mine when quality Asian cuisine is what I am looking for. The portion sizes are great for the price and the house-made soy sauce, by request, is wonderful.The head waiter is very attentive and personable. He is always on duty!

Ive continued to come here since me and my roommates discovered this place in college. The staff is excellent! Very friendly. But the food is why this is my favorite place for Asian dining. Large quantities. Can get it easily to go if you want to call or stop by.

Food was kind of weird. The lo mein used spaghetti noodles but it tasted alright. Hours are pretty abnormal. The guy who took my order failed to mention that there was free soup if I bought 30 dollars worth of stuff and paid with cash. The sweet old lady packing my food informed me of that when she brought out my take out order. may need to try a different entree.Tried it again. Apparently making the lo mein spicy is the key. they add more sauce and it tasted a lot better. Got the clam with black bean sauce and it was pretty good. Clams seemed fresh with the shells included in the container. Order did take a while, but overall the food was a lot better than my first visit.

Todays crawfish is not good. Its rubbery and no meat at all probably over cooked or recooked making meat shrink and not juicy. Not recommended.

Have eaten Chinese food all over the city and everything ive tried there is so much better! The food tastes like its cooked from scratch....not dumped out of a freezer bag. The staff is amazing too! Your greeted like a friend if you have been there just a few times. This place has set the bar so high I wont eat Chinese food anywhere else! Love the hours! Bai Wei serves my absolute favorite lomein. Combo lomein (chicken, beef, and shrimp) is my go-to. $11-$13 for a massive serving that can easily feed three, or two very hungry people. Very friendly service. The atmosphere is casual, a zero pressure environment. Just come hungry, and chow down on some delicious Asian food.

The lady yelling in Chinese in the kitchen at the cook(s) made laugh as did the waiting staff who was helpful in recommending spicy vs non-spicy dishes. If your craving Chinese food eat here.
