I’ve always had a good experience with overhead garage doors! The service technician on this visit was prompt and courteous. I appreciate he didn’t try to sell me on parts I didn’t need. He went above and beyond by moving unused garage keypad to the other door when I upgraded the garage door motor. He also programmed the vehicle remotes for us as well. I’ve used them three times and every experience has been the same.

This company is outstanding. Mike went above and beyond to ensure that my door was exactly as it should be. Coming back to my home and working relentlessly in the heat and asking another technician from the commercial side--I have commercial doors on a residential shop--to help troubleshoot a minor issue after a spring replacement. The tech that we had was amazing. He was very knowledgable and was a pushy salesman trying to get me to buy something we didnt need. He pointed out the problem with the garage door we was having, and then upon inspecting everything, he noticed another issue. He didnt say that we had to fix it, he just stated in time we should consider fixing. We decided to go ahead and have him replace everything he pointed out. He assured us he wasnt trying to push us into fixing it... Because of his knowledge and honesty is, this was why we agreed to have things replaced. We knew we might not get the same guy if something happened at a later date. I believe the gentlemans name was Mike or Michael. If you get him on your Service Call, consider yourself lucky.

Mike from Overhead Door was excellent! He was very accommodating to my schedule mishap and came by on a Saturday. He gave my husband and I very good information and explained why we were having issues with our garage door. He fixed it for us same day! We will be calling him again if we have any issues.

I had a torsion spring break on my garage door, so I called Overhead Door and they were able to send a technician out within a couple of hours. It only took him about 20 minutes to have both springs replaced and everything back up and running for me. Excellent customer service and pricing, I highly recommend them.

After a spring broke on my garage door, Wichita Overhead Door was able to get someone out within 24 hours to fix the issue. When the tech came by to do the repair he was quick and polite. Pricing was reasonable and worth every penny.

We were extremely thankful OHD sent someone out the same day we called & the price was very reasonable! The technician was kind and curious and called before heading to our house. Turned out 90% of the issue was bc I painted the garage door but there was an issue with the door bolts holding it to the wall. Our tech explained what’s to do about the awful popping sound, from the paint, and got the door securely on the wall. We are so happy to know we have a reliable & honest garage door company!!!

I had a door not opening and I wasnt able to release the door from the opener because there was no pull cord installed on it. (I could not tell where the release bar was without the release cord.) It is an Odyssey Overhead Door brand with the companys 316 number on it to call for repair. I called and explained that the opener is not that old (about 4 years) and that it doesnt look like it was installed right because there is no release cord between the opener and the door. The cost to come out to look at it was a base $89 plus $93/hr or they quoted a new opener at $379. I decided to call around to other companies and have someone else do the repair/replacement. While I understand it is out of warranty, I would expect an opener to last longer than 4 years. So I was already reluctant to continue to do business with Overhead Door. I found a different company willing to come and look at it for repair and if it is cheaper to replace, then they will just replace it so I dont have to pay for a service fee plus a new equipment install. Had Overhead Door offered this I would have probably had them come out but they didnt seem to want to help me fix their opener.6 days later update: The other company came and repaired the door for $85. Although I emailed to the address listed by the company response, I have not been contacted further.

He also provided me with recommendations for the future to get the most out of our current system. He gave an estimate for replacement when needed. We will definitely use them for all of our future needs.

He gave me great info on every question. He did not bring up a new door or pushy in any way. Since I was making improvements to my home to sell, I decided to put a new door on. I would recommend Overhead Door Co. to anyone and tell my experience with Billy. I was very pleased with him. Besides, how often today does a short old lady get to have a respectful conversation with a good looking young man.

Excellent service! I called Monday afternoon and got someone out Tuesday morning to fix my garage door. I personally feel like their fee of $90 to come assess the problem is a little high but in the end it was worth it. Our repair was done in under half an hour so it was about $115 total for the assessment and repair. I believe our techs name was Jake, he was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company

We had a broken spring on our garage door. We were able to schedule a replacement the next day. The technician worked quickly, explained why the spring broke, and explained how better maintenance could make the new springs last longer. He even recommended an important upgrade that should have been installed in the first place that wasnt that expensive. He also performed some maintenance on the door he fixed as well as our other garage door, and showed me how to maintain the doors myself. I would hire this company again.

Unprofessional, obnoxious technician and after hour customer support.Technician says I do not have time to fill paperwork for warranty company when most of the information needed on the claim is technical based.I do not recommend them at all.What is even funny is now the owner replies to my comment giving more unfounded assumption and pretends the Residential manager tried contacting me.Two things, either your staff is making a fool out of you feeding you misinformation or you are the source of this behavior. I was faced with replacing the logic board in my old Chamberlain for $80 (that’s with me installing it), OR going with a new, better Liftmaster unit. It would be almost $500, but it would be done right then, and also done correctly, so we decided to have it done.But, the best part came later and even still, when I push the button and enjoy how quiet that thing is. I couldn’t be happier!
