Old fashioned it may be to get a cobbler to fix your shoes, but if you are so inclined this is the best one I have found. Greeted with a pleasant good morning I am fairly sure the young lady was smiling but due to the virus her smile of greeting was hidden. The prices are not cheap, but quality never is. I have always been impressed with tbe work here. There may be others as good but I highly doubt there are any better to be found anywhere!

Brought back to life, a raggedy old pair of boots my wife would just NOT replace. Work was great. They did a great job of reviving these things. Great job! First 4 photos are what they looked like after the repair.

I called 2-3 weeks ago about the cost of dying some boots. The lady told me $25. I thought that sounded pretty good. (There are two stores but they are the same company and I dont remember which store it was. I didnt think it would matter.)When I went in on a Friday and dropped the boots off to be dyed, the lady said that the cost was $45. I said I had called and I was told it was $25. She said that it was normally $45 but she would do it and she didnt know who I talked to. She took $25 payment and my boots.Monday morning I get a call from a man and he says they charge $45 and they have not charged $25 in 15 years. He said he would give me my money back. I said I drove 2 hours round trip for his, the business said they would do it, and now you dont want to ? I told him I would come get the boots and my money back.I then called the other store back and asked the lady who answered if they dyed boots. She said, Yes. I then asked her how much it was and she said, $20-40 depending on how much of the boot you want dyed.-- Now I am getting mad at this point.I called the man back who had told me they charge $45 and told him what the lady and JUST TOLD ME. He started to get rude to me and asked me when I would come get the boots. I told him the next time I would be in Wichita.I would NEVER recommend doing business here. If I had made the mistake, I would have not liked it, but it would have been my fault and I would have moved on.

Ive had my boots repaired there many times over the last 10 years. Its because of these guys, that my boots have lastest me these last 10 years. spending ten or fifteen dollars here and there is way better than spending over $200 on a new pair of boots.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK-YOU FOR THE OUTSTANDING JOB YOU DID ON MY BOOTS! THEY LOOK BRAND NEW!! YOU DID A SUPERB JOB!

We took a leather jacket in to have a custom made leather patch applied. An employee told us the owner would call and get the details about how the patch should be applied. After waiting 2 weeks we decided to stop by and inquire. The employee who barley could speak legible English said the work was already done - apparently without ever calling us for instruction. The patch was applied in the wrong spot and the work done was really bad. If you have anything of value - DONT TAKE IT HERE!

I guess I should have paid more attention to the reviews and not to the star rating. I had a leather riding shirt taken in down the back. When doing this one might think you would take the quilted liner in as well...not here. In addition I had the zipper replaced in my black leather vest. To start they used brown thread (black vest). The stitching curves and zags and the stitches arent even the same size. Loose threads Im scared to trim off on both the top and bottom of the zipper. Theres yellow glue smudged all over around the zipper as well. Ill take some pictures because you wouldnt believe the poor craftsmanship unless you saw it. The woman did offer to let me speak with the person who did the work but quite frankly I dont want this business to touch another thing I own. I had taken a pair of boots along with me which needed resoled. After seeing the horrible work on my shirt and vest I at least had the good judgement to take them somewhere else. I couldnt be any more disappointed with the work. Paying as well as I did for the work I would have expected a professional outcome. It was far from professional. Amateur at best.

I had some leather shoes with a huge scratch in them, so I took them to Jacks and they refinished them very nicely. The scratch was way too deep to be repaired but they really minimized it and made the rest of the shoe look brand new. Couldnt be happier!And some of the scare reviews on here sound like they forgot to pick up their stuff from the store. Jacks gives you a stub and a certain day to come pick up your stuff; they dont call. Really not super hard. As long as you clearly tell them what you want (and youre asking them to do a service they actually perform), I cant see how theyd mess it up.

They painted over dirt and grime with way too much polish. Had to tear down my shoe and recondition/polish it myself. It looked terrible, will not be returning.
