Always friendly customer service. They offer to help you out to your car if you have heavy items and come to the registers as soon as you need them. Never have to wait on these guys. Never see them irritated or upset either. They also have big parrots that live in the store which is super interesting and neat! Best liquor store around.As for the people complaining about them attending to customers and giving them their full attention, that is just sales 101. They arent assuming your a theif, they are offering their attention and probably trying to boost sales. I dont ever feel like they think Im stealing when they are always around to help. To me it comes across as overly ambitious but it is nice at times. If Im not doing anything wrong I dont take it personal like I am doing something wrong. They are just friendly and sociable.

I have been here a few times to buy my usual beer. There was one particular time when I was denied purchase because I have an out of state ID...which was confusing because they had taken my ID before. I thought they were joking at first...I’m 28 years old and I should be able to buy liquor. It seems to me that the owners should invest in one of those black light pens, they’d get much more business...Another thing about this place is the many times they’ve been rude to my husband. (I have to send him in now even though he’s much younger than me, how funny). Once he asked about the birds behind the counter, asked the sales clerk what kind of birds they were and the man just said in a gruff manner “loud ones.” The last time he went in a few months ago, the sales clerk told him that he looked like he was twelve. It’s one thing to say someone looks young, but twelve is a bit of a stretch, and VERY rude to a regular customer.We have stopped purchasing from here. We go to ABC liquor now, and they have never once denied my purchase. Not to mention the staff is nice. It just stinks because Everton is right across the street from where we live, but oh well. Not worth it.

Decent beer selection, but not the best. Prices are average without many products on sale. Credit card reader is dial-up slow. Employees are always courteous and helpful. I stop here if it is on my way, but generally go to Lightners for a better beer selection and slightly better prices.

Fantastic selection with great customer service

I had my 11 year old daughter with me when I stopped in to pick out an expensive bottle of Rum for my Husband for Valentines Day. The owner I believe approached my daughter creeply and ask her to see her ID. I told him she is my daughter and doesnt have one. He told her to step outside and wait. It was around 8pm and dark. I told him I was not going to leave my daughter outside by herself so we left. Both employees followed us out the door and started smoking while watching us go to my car. It was WEIRD! I went a mile down the road to Lighteners Liquor. The were very nice to me, offered my daughter and lolly pop and helped me find a nice bottle of Rum for my Husband for Valentines Day.

As MANY OTHER REVIEWS state, they FOLLOW AND HARASS their REGULAR CUSTOMERS, constantly!!! And in my PERSONAL experience, when they arent following me, theyre either DANCING AROUND LIKE SCHOOL CHILDREN, or trying to Talk My Ear Off, as I desperately attempt to exit the store!!! A BIPOLAR BUSINESS!?!?!?

Helpful staff. Haven’t had any bad experiences at this place. Workers are treating customers with respect. There’s a good collection of European beer here including my favorite, Carlsberg Elephant.

After about a year of buyng i told the staff to stop folowing me that this always bother me, i came from work had my badge with my picture and as soon as i walk in they do things like : arrange bottles or sweep rigth next to me or asking me to let them take my bottle of wine to the counter and hold it there, another time coming from the gym i had yoga pants and a t shirt and i told them if i wanted to steel something where will put it?? I move to 21st and rock for 2 years and the other store there is great! now i am back i bougth a house in this area and i gave it 1 more chance same experience with both the man and the woman, i told them again and this is the reason i wont shop here anymore you make me feel uncofortable following me around the entire time, i only buy a pack of beer and 1 or 2 wines so is easy to see very rude when i told them this time the store in web and harry is so friendly and they are always in a good mood while this ones are very uptigh i am of a diferent etnicity i am not sure if this is the reason but if this is you concern you should not open a busines to the public then.
