Awesome staff! I was here with my dad who’s visiting me and he wanted to grab some shoes for his friend. The associate was very patient and very informative as we asked a million questions. This location seems to have a good stock of what they list too.

I shop here quite often have for many years & really enjoy the items I purchase here. The people are great and the atmosphere is also great. I was a bit disappointed in the fact it took 2 months too get a shirt I ordered in my size. I still like shopping here and things worked out.

Alexis knows her shoes and inserts and took her time explaining to my husband and me what parts of the shoe were necessary to help my husband’s feet. She also explained the difference in the shoe inserts and why the ones we chose for the shoe were necessary for his high arch. Alexis was very patient with our questions, sometimes having to repeat herself, but she did it all with a smile. My husband’s feet haven’t felt this good for YEARS!! We’ll most definitely be back when it’s time for ME to get shoes!!

Great experience as always! Stopped into the east Wichita, KS store looking for something other than a boot I normally wear to work. Nathan listened to ALL my fitting concerns and off he went. Got a good sturdy and most important comfortable pair of shoes. I should have visited the store much sooner as I have been bouncing around my current assortment of footwear to find a pair that my feet didnt hurt and hour after lacing them up or at the end of the work day; would have save me some $$$. Give them a try (New Balance) you may be quite surprised!

Walking in I was greeted warmly. I was confident they knew exactly what I needed. When I took my new shoes to the Orthotic specialist, he was very impressed with my purchase as I was. I have my freedom to walk without pain again. Thank you both for your awesome help!

The customer service at this location was amazing. Jon really listened to my concerns and issues I was having and took great care in finding the right shoes and inserts that would work best for me and relieve the pain I was having in my feet. I went here yesterday to get supportive shoes for my son to compliment the custom insoles to treat his tendonitis. There were not rows and rows of shoes, there was a person waiting there, had my son step on a pad that measured everything about his feet! Then he didn’t stop trying until my son found a pair that fit him and supported his feet in the way that he needed. The customer service was amazing! He even opened the door for us on our way out!

Customer Service agent was very knowledgeable and helpful in my selection of a walking shoe.

The store has the best selection of size 14+ shoes in town. I wear a 16. Every time I go in there are at least 2 pairs available. Thats unheard of. Anywhere else its only basketball shoes.

Fantastic! Johnathan was gracious enough to order in a pair of shoes for me to try. They still didnt work and I was able to find something that did. He had them sent directly to my home. I was in twice and received wonderful service. The shoe is great and so is the service.

The sales person was polite, quick, carried my shoes to the door and even offered to walk me to my car with an umbrella since it was pouring! This was wonderful! Previously I had problems with this stores customer service so I am thrilled to report it was EXCELLENT this time.

I suffered a lisfranc fracture in my foot 2 years ago. 2 surgery’s, 93 staples, 30 stitches, 2 screws, 1 plate, 1 pin, & countless pairs of shoes later my dad suggested that we go to the new balance store in Wichita. I have severe tendinitis in both ankles and most of the time when I get off work I’m unable to walk. I’m a preschool teacher so mobility is really important. When I went in the store and relayed all of this to Kobe, he knew exactly what to do. He measured my feet, & then had me stand on a machine that did a 3D scan of my feet, how I stand, and was even able to measure my gait/walking pattern. Through that he saw what I needed as far as support, asked my preferences and came back with two options that are able to correct my walking. My mom said it’s the most normal I’ve ever walked in 2 years. Kobe even put the shoes on and laced them up for me, and after check out he walked me to the door. He wasn’t pushy and just trying to get me to spend money. He was reliable and found me affordable options. I will probably never buy another shoe besides new balance! This shoe has changed my life.

I purchased a pair of shoes 4 years ago from New Balance. 4 YEARS. Thats how long the first pair lasted. I did pay about $225 for them and the insoles, however, in that time i bought a cheap pair from Payless for $50 that lasted all of about 3 to 6 months. Last week I went into New Balance as my original pair had finally worn out- the soles lost their tread, the mesh had started cracking, and me slipping them on and off over the years had caused the backs to deteriorate. The pair I purchased a week ago were not the right fit for me. I tried to make them and the insoles work, however, after a week I started using my old insoles from my 4 year old pair! Yesterday I went into New Balance and under the 30 day guarantee was able to get the updated version of my old shoes and new insoles in exchange for the pair I just bought, only paying the difference between the two pairs of shoes. Total spent right around the original $225 I spent 4 years ago. Do yourself a favor and TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET. New Balance shoes and insoles are a life saver. If I had bought cheaper shoes, I wouldve spent $400 over that same 4 year span. It is a good amount up front but I assure you well worth it in the long run to buy from New Balance!

Ok lets start by saying customer service is 5 star. There in lies the problem. After going through all the motions to get a quality work shoe I was shocked. The test market shoe and insert made me feel like I was walking on a cloud. That is what I thought I was buying . The 200 hundred dollar price tag ( shoe/w inserts) I bought was just ok. Im four hours in working an eight hour day and my feet hurt. Sorry, I got sold a bill of goods. I could have stayed with Red Wings and spent a whole lot less.. Sorry New Balance I cant justify dropping 200 hundred dollars on just ok....

My foot measurements were explained very well to me. I was provided several examples of the types of shoes that met my criteria for what I was looking for and the pair of shoes that I decided upon were extremely comfortable. I am very pleased with the entire experience.

Markus was our salesman, give him a raise, make him manager or at least his own parking spot. The man is a professional. My wife is infamous for being extremely hard to shop for shoes. There are times she takes one step in a store and gives up. I saw signs of this when we entered your store, she all of a sudden just isnt in the mood to look for shoes. Or she looks at every shoe in town, finds something she likes, but doesnt buy until a few days later. Markus used some subtle techniques, some not so subtle, but effective. In a short time he, along with an assist by myself had her sold on two pair. Well done, sir!

Megan W. was very helpful in assisting me in finding a pair of shoes that fit me properly. When I called about a pair of shoes like I already had, she suggested a similar model that was less expensive. She told me that she could order them and she would call when they came in. I was surprised when in less than a week they came in, I went to the store, she assisted me in the fitting and told me about all the features of the shoe, I purchased them and am very satisfied with them. I called ahead told the sales woman what I was looking for. She told me that she could help me . I have really high arches and I am on my feet 10+ hours a day .I went in the young women was there and ready to help me. She fitted me for a great shoe and an insole. The service was great!!!! She actually stayed with me through out the entire sale. That is rare now most places dont help the way they do they actually help you pick the shoe that fits you best.I thought this kind of customer service was gone. I was very impressed they are great!!!! If you need shoes that actually fit you this is the place to go. I will definitely recommend this store to all my friends and family members. Terrible customer service. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted to try on, grabbed the shoes and was going to ask a salesperson for my sizes and possibly make the purchase. The salesman was with a lady, who apparently required his undivided attention. And the saleslady was chatting with a customer at the register. Right after that customer left, the phone rang and she answered it talking for a few minutes. Once she got off, she went to another couple who were already trying shoes on. Didn’t look at me, or ask if she could help. I was basically ignored. After 15 minutes, I just left.

Wish I could give zero. I was waiting for 25 minutes for someone to help me. I have foot problems and needed someone to show me what shoes would be good. Not going back. Saw employee on their cell phone.

Megan was so helpful and knowledgeable about picking the proper shoes for my son who will getting leg braces. She had my son stand on a machine that scanned his feet determining which was the best shoe for him, it was a great experience and I was so impressed with all of the science involved in picking the right shoe.

Unparalleled service! Justin went way above and beyond to help me. He helped me try on several pair of shoes, the way shoe stores used to.No one else does that anymore. He even taught me a new lacing method called heel locking.When I couldnt find the perfect pair, he searched online for me. Wow!The other gentleman there gave all three of my kids sunglasses and engaged with them on their level.I most certainly will return.

I made a special trip across town to go here after work today because I need some new shoes. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to help me, but no one even greeted me. It was if I wasn’t even there. One employee was helping a customer, but the other was chatting with her parents who were visiting her at work and then helped another customer as soon as they walked in. It’s a shame because I received great service during a previous visit. Made me wonder if they judged me based on my mechanics uniform.

If you have wide feet, this is the place to go. My feet are slightly different in size so finding shoes is a hassle. Especially when one foots in the D range. Which youll understand once you go here and get your feet measured by staff so they can find you the perfect shoes. The woman that helped me was incredible. I wish I could remember her name but if you go there youll know who Im talking about if you happen to meet her. Super nice and truly wanted to help me find shoes that would fit. Which I did and they are sharp. Never get new balance at other stores, you want to go to their actual stores to get the right shoes. Since other stores think wide feet dont exist.P.S. She even stayed past closing so I could get the right shoes and she didnt even care she was just glad I found shoes that fit.
