Gym is falling apart. Several cardio machines have been out of order for months now. Machines seats leather is held together with duct tape on so many of them. Gym is still too small, even though they have some areas that are just empty, including a daycare that is just there without any babysitters, might as well use it for more equipments. There is also another empty building next to it that they can rent/buy and utilize. They have one of every machine, so, if someone is using the machine youre about to use in your next set, youll have to wait. And if it is an older person whos using it, then good luck getting to it, its better to go home instead. The deadlift and squats areas are crammed together tightly. I can go on and on about it. Competition is everywhere now, you guys had better step your game up. People will be leaving, like my wife whos found a better place for the same price.

I paid for a membership for over a year with out going this gym. As I tried to cancel my membership again, the first employee I spoke with was extremely kind over the phone. He said he’ll do everything he can cancel my membership for me. He asked me to send an email and that I should be good to go. I continued to get emails from Fitness 19 saying I owe money or I’ll be sent to collections. I called again and spoke with the manager who was extremely rude to me, raising his voice over the phone. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you plan to forever. They make it really difficult to cancel memberships.

Great local gym for the Willoughby/Wickliffe area. Always clean and always have had positive encounters with staff. Membership is what you see is what you get, no hidden clauses or hidden fees.

Love this gym. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean, very clean. Never crowded, probably 10-20% occupied in morning. Treadmills, elipticals, nautilus and tons of free weights. No intimidation from patrons either. Cant beat the price.

Great gym, not too full of itself like a lot of other chain gyms in the area. Definitely recommend if youre looking for a place to get a good lift in and want to avoid all the nonsense.

This is a great gym for so many reasons.1. It is always CLEAN!2. The people and the atmosphere are/is so great and positive.3. The Manager Nick Lester is ALWAYS happy to answer questions aboutany thing (I ask him lots of questions about exercises and form). Heis very knowledgeable and open and happy to assist.4. Dean at the front desk always greets with a big smile.5. Chris has also assisted and helped me come up with exercises towork around my old injuries. Their newest trainer Jeremy happilycame to my aid when I was trying a new exercise and I needed tomake sure I was using the equipment correctly.6. I love a small community gym. You feel more welcome. You are notjust a number.

Im new here so I try my best to get familiar with my surroundings and I gotta say I love the vibe and people here. Everyone is so nice and hard workers it gets me pumped!

Ive been a member of this gym for going on two years. i have also been a member of the other gyms in the near by area. fitness 19 is definitely the most bang for your buck. They have 24 hour access, plenty of cardio equipment, second to none personal trainers, constant upkeep of cleanliness for the equipment and restrooms, friendly staff and great customer service. They also have actual squat racks and a dead lift platform. Do yourself a favor and join this gym!

You cannot beat the amount of machinery and service you receive for their low cost rate (and great family rates)! Awesome to have daycare service. I ended up having to cancel my membership because I had moved and there was no longer a location convenient for me. The staff took care of my account and made sure that I was satisfied.

I have been a member for about 3 years. I had always been reticent to join a health club. I have found in this case to be totally wrong. The staff have been terrific and the equipment is perfect for my needs. Working with my trainer Walter I have totally changed my quality of life to a status I could never have imagined. The atmosphere in the club is more like a meeting place for friends to hang out than that of a sterile business, I have never made a better investment.

Cleanest gym I have ever been to in my life. The staff treats you well but I cant tell you how much they clean. Not one dirty machine in there. Not one speck of dirt. A round of applause for these guys. You wont be disappointed.

Fitness 19 Wickliffe is by far the best gym that I have attended! The Daycare is one of the biggest perks, but also the knowledge and friendliness of the staff! They always have a clean facility and make you feel welcome with every encounter you have with them!

Been here for five years, and have experienced all the changes. Very positive atmosphere here, especially in the last few months since the management change. Friendly staff, helpful trainers...Any questions you have will be answered! VERY CLEAN! It quickly became not only a place for my physical well-being, but for my mental well-being as well.. It has a family type of atmosphere, which I also enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to family as well as friends. Despite all of the newer gyms opening, this is my home, and I wouldnt change that! GO CAVS!

Lots of great equipment. Staff is friendly and will help you work out. Clean and they get machines fixed quickly is broken. Lots of free weights and machines. Daycare there as well. Great for all age groups. Highly recommend.

Tony set me up with a membership and signed me up with a trainer. Asked me exactly what I wanted out of joining a gym. It was really easy to sign up. After the initial shock of how expensive trainers are (they have different packages) I’m really glad I went with a trainer. Gina is wonderful and she is encouraging without being intimidating. She helps with my diet and keeps in contact with me on my off days. After 2 weeks, I’m definitely seeing small changes. I couldn’t be happier with everyone there. And they’re so friendly!

Awesome staff and trainers! Been there almost two years and the consistency of the product is what I love the most. Very noticeable when you see the same faces there daily saying hello as you walk in the door. Kept very clean by the staff, and the renovations that just got completed make it feel like a brand new gym. I dont need to have flashy in my gym, I need a clean, affordable place to go that has all the tools to help me attain my goals. From the friendly staff, to the free weights, to the machines, Fitness 19 Wickliffe has it all!

Clean with good equipment for their prices. No big facilities like pool, sauna, hot tob. But you also dont have to pay the price for stuff you dont use

I have been a member for about a month now... every time I walking the gym, at least one person if not multiple are there to greet you with a smiling face... and by name! There is almost always someone cleaning. Although a smaller gym, there is plenty of equipment for even the busier times. They have a childcare that is actually reasonable and very friendly staff that interacts with the children. I have been working with Nick the trainer and love it! I actually enjoy going to the gym and would (and have) recommend them to everyone!

I love this gym the staff and members are awesome. It is very clean and has a nice variety of equipment. If you are goal oriented about your fitness this is the place to be.

I love the place and use it at least 4 times a week, (okay maybe more like 3) . The only reason I didnt go higher is the lack of showers, and the hours they are open.

Great family oriented gym! Been going here for 5 years now and the gym improves every year in every aspect! Ive also been taking self defense classes with fitness 19 self defense teacher Freddy Mac Thompson for 6 months now and its such a great class and great skill to learn especially with Fred! He teaches the class through jeet kune do, and are they are very effective!

Really, people give it 2 stars because you have to write down that you want to quit? You have a right to cancel in the first 30 days or pay if you dont ? All this complaining. Welcome to the way the world works. A business is made to make $. The people who complain, I wonder if you work for free at your profession. Quit being such a tight a$$.

All trainers and gyms are NOT the same. I have had three trainers evaluate/assess me. My wife has had two of those same individuals assess her. These individuals did not evaluate our bodies core for their strength, though one did start to give me core exercises.My wife and I have since learned how critical it is to have a strong core through our current trainer, JB, at Fitness 19. He is concentrating on our cores like none of the others did. Its what we need before we move on to the more complex machines and weights without hurting ourselves. JB focuses on our individual weaknesses to help us get stronger. Everyone would benefit from a customized workout to safely get to where you want to go without hurting yourself by exercising incorrectly. We believe we have found a great trainer in JB as he applies his Exercise Science degree. He is not just someone who knows how to lift weights.We are very grateful for JB and Fitness 19, which is a great place to work out.

Ive been a member for a little over a year. You may not find a cleaner facility. The staff here takes pride in ensuring EVERYTHING is clean DAILY. The staff is friendly and it feels like a family everytime I go in there, warm and inviting. No pool, suana, showers and I dont care for those things, this gym offers everything i need to build my body with weight training and an excellent amount of cardio machines. There is a diverty of members from elderly to teenagers and I love it. I have had staff (Ryan), stop me on a couple of occassions to educate me on an exercise I was doing incorrectly or just to make me aware of the results I would get from doing a particular exercise. Other members are friendly as well, very courteous and helpful. I hired a trainer there last year by the name of Taylor and she got me together real quick and she was a BEAST. WELL worth the money spent towards personal training. I joined a gym closer to my home but it was dirty, dark and the atmosphere was heavy. I cancelled the membership and committed to driving 30mins just to get to this gym. The atmosphere alone is motivating. I recommend F19 Wickliffe to anyone looking for an affordable, clean gym with all the equipment you will need on your body building or fitness journey in life. I love this place.

Do not go here unless you plan to forever, because its nearly impossible to cancel your membership. A phone call is not enough for them. You have to write it down on a piece of paper in order to cancel your membership. They make you sign up using your bank information then 30 days to cancel the membership. They just trap you terribly and not worth it!
