Change your eye care specialist and go here. Very thorough. Exceptional. I went to see Dr. Wilson because the eye exam I had from another provider was in a word, awful and I had no confidence in the prescription. After a variety of pre-diagnostic exams and then a cat scan of my eyes, I saw Dr. Wilson who made sure that my new prescription was exactly what was needed. His unhurried manner and the fact that he takes the time to explain everything and doesnt use medical terminology that is difficult to understand was much appreciated. Also the other people who work there are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would encourage anyone who is looking for an eye examination to go here first. Excellent! Will definitely be returning!

I take my kids there and everyone is very helpful and good with kids! They were one of the only places I found that would see kids under 5 when we started going there. The Doctor is professional and talks to kids on their level not just to the parent. Amanda was knowledgeable about insurance and helpful in directing us in the right way to get our needs met. Jessica was great with the pre-exam and treated my kids great! Definitely will be going back!

Today was my first time going to Bear Creek Eye Care. The young lady unlock the door for me and was very nice. Once you are inside it really has a nice atmosphere to. I took my 16 month old daughter in for her first eye exam and all of the staff members were great! The front office ladies were really nice and they made my little one fee comfortable. My recent experience with Bear Creek Eye Care was great! I was able to fill out my paperwork online and they sent several reminders of my appointment via email, phone, and text, which I appreciate. They have sanitary measures in place which includes washing of hands upon entering, I love that! Masks required, and physical distancing as much as possible. They have patients trying on frames with a specialist and they sanitize them after each patient. The tech and Dr were very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Upon picking up my glasses, another tech make sure they fit well and adjusted them accordingly. 5 stars!!

Our daughter had an eye emergency and our regular optometrist was closed on Saturdays. I called Bear Creek optometry and they were able to see her right away. The staff was so polite and friendly and the optometrist was very thorough with their exam. I had a very pleasant and professional visit at Bear Creek Vision. First and foremost they follow strict hygiene practices for both employees and clients. From the receptionist to Dr Wilson I was treated with respect and kindness throughout the visit. My visit was in November. My insurance is IEHP an insurance provided by covered California/ Medi-cal. Such glasses are made in correctional institutions and with the events surrounding the Corona virus pandemic it took nearly 4 months to receive my glasses. This is no fault of Bear Creek. To the contrary They remained in constant contact with me giving me reports of progress, and always unnecessarily apologetic. Putting the delay aside I give Bear Creek Vision Care 5 stars and would recommend them to friends and family. I had to come back and edit my review because I have to mention that I notice they respond to every review. I think that’s very cool.

I have seen Dr. Wilson at Bear Creek Eye Care Optometry on two occasions. Once for an eye exam and lenses fitting and once for an emergency. Both times Dr. Wilson and his staff were exceptionally excellent. For my eye emergency, it was Dr. Wilson’s day off. But he called me at home after I has spoken with his office and had me meet me at the office. Once there, he and his staff took excellent care of me.

Dr Wilson is very detailed and attentive to his patients. He really cares and strives to educate you about your eyes by explaining what he does in all the steps in the exam. He has some up to date technologies to help make it easier to examine your eyes in ways older technology does not. He also wants to make you comfortable both in the experience, and very importantly, comfortable in the prescription glasses he gives.In the past Ive had optometrist who do not care about how comfortable you are with the glasses they prescribe to you and just stated their prescription is what makes you see best and does not care of it gives you headaches. Dr Wilson on the other hand will cater to make it comfortable to you. In fact he corrected my last prescription which was stronger than necessary.They are also very punctual with their appointments (no long waits) and offer weekend hours, which is great to accommodate busy schedules. They office is clean and modern. I recommend them highly if you care about your eye sight.

Hands down the best eye doctor around! Dr. Wilson is thorough, meticulous and super knowledgeable about his profession and he truly cares about his patients. Ive had a couple potentially harmful eye incidents, which he previously educated me about and what to expect if it happens, and he got me into the office right away to look at my eyes.
