After being told by so called computer geeks and computer expert that my laptop computer was SHOT and UNREPAIRABLE and was told that they had nice deals on new computer ready to sale me, I made as a last resort a visit to Computer Planet, (it should have been my first) not only He fixed my Laptop Computer but made it even better then it was with new updates. All this for a fraction of the price of the cost of their new computers. By the way the service was fast too. Over a year ago was my 1st experience with this business. Being a senior citizen and not having any knowledge of computers ( other than a few basics ) I found Computer Planet, Scared of the costs and not knowing what to do I relied on them to give me service at a reasonable cost and a good job. I got both and now through not knowing I allowed what was most likely a big mistake someone into my computer in an attempt to setup a device and they said I had a virus and wanted $345. to fix it. Seeing Red Flags and getting scared I shut down my computer and rushed to contact CP and within a few hours and a nominal fee was up and running safely again. Although I cant speak for others I can say I trust and appreciate the service I have received and would recommend this shop to anyone that needs honest fair service

Simply the best computer repair store in the area!!! We had a serious issue with a laptop. Other computer places told us to junk it, at least the ones that were even open. We needed a fast repair. The Computer Planet fixed it fast and inexpensive. They also answered all of our questions with courtesy and non computer geek terms. Stay away! I had Computer Planet replace a 7 year old Original Equipment Manufacturers part. My keyboard was loose after the repair and would move up and down when typing. Arlington tried to remedy the problem by taping the keyboard in place, yes taping. It did not work and the keyboard is loose today. Less then 2 years later the same part failed. Computer Planet had my laptop for 2 WEEKS! I was told it needed a specific part made by only one manufacturer, although this wasnt a problem with the first repair, he conveniently had the part in his shop. After speaking with other IT specialist I was told it failed so soon because it was either used or the wrong part. It never was quite as secure as the OEM was. During the second repair Arlington now, by his own admission, broke several of the rivets that attach the Mother Board. A few days after that repair, and being charged twice, I have the same problem. According to Arlington when a part breaks is always the users fault. Not because of a used part, shoddy install or the wrong part.When I would call hoping to get my laptop back in a timely fashion he was always very rude and unprofessional. That is if someone answered the phone or he didnt randomly close the shop to go shopping.

My computer knowledge is rather piece meal. Im capable of removing a power-supply fan(while not knowing its a POWER SUPPLY FAN) that went bad without damaging anything, yet lacking the correct info on going about replacing.The owner was friendly, corrected my mistakes, and was knowledgeable & quick to realize the fan I pulled out was a 80mm Power Supply Fan. From there, he took my current fans wires and spliced it to the replacement fan for a quick and smooth installation once I got home. Even learned a bit of extra info about computers I was ignorant of prior in the process100% Recommended, and will return for any future computer needs.

Absolutely amazing job on our two computers!!! I thought I ended up owning a $1200 apple brick but he brought it back to life and for a solid price. My wifes computer was purchased almost a decade ago and it was the best of the best then. It was running slow and now with some internals its running like day 1. If you own an Apple Product of any type with water damage, take it to apple and stay far away from this business. Recently my MacBook Air broke due to water damage. After looking for possible solutions I decided to stay local and come here (huge mistake). He told me that he would take the computer apart and put it through a cleaning process. After I dropped it off, I did not hear from him for 2 weeks so I had to call him myself. The long wait time did not surprise me as this store is absolutely disgusting and unorganized inside. Every time I called him he sounded like he was in a bad mood and quick to hang up the phone. Very rude and unprofessional. He told me that he was not able to fix it so I went up to the store to pick up my MacBook to bring it the Apple Store in the Lehigh Valley Mall. He was also very discouraging, unhelpful, and un-knowledgable about the coverage I had on my MacBook with Apple. When I got to the Apple Store in Lehigh, they not only fixed my MacBook within an hour on the spot, but also said there were no previous signs of cleaning! Also, most of the Google Reviews you are reading about this business are fake as he has wrote them to himself. Very unprofessional, advise strongly to not do business with him.

I have been doing business with this company for years and have always been happy with their availability of quality used Computer products as well as affordable new equipment. My most recent purchase was a computer monitor. My wife is working from home and needs two monitors for her job. A tv is her second monitor but the 16 year old LCD monitor kept shutting off. Computer Planet was able to provide me with a quality used replacement monitor that was better quality than what I would have purchase new at one of the big box stores. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Originally called up about an extra RAM stick for my laptop and he offered to pop it in at no cost. Of course I couldnt let that happen so I paid him anyway. Also I ended up getting an extra nvme m.2 drive and I was happy and I left. Turn the computer on to find out the drive wasnt working so I went back and he tinkered around with it and all of a sudden it started working lol. Good sense of humor and I know where Im going for anything computer related.

I have a 2yr old inexpensive HP laptop. I got a notification that the fan had stopped working. I went to BestBuy to get it looked at, I was told it had to be sent out, could be out for 6 to 8 weeks and there was a nonrefundable diag. fee of approx. $80. I decided not to send it out.Luckily I passed Computer Planet and pulled in. I left My laptop, no diag. fee and he called me that night to let me know he had my fan running and the bill was approx. $60. I had my computer back in a few days, I had some upgrades while it was there, otherwise it would have been back the following day. I highly recommend this store!
