Got an oil change a week ago, went fine but as i was leaving today i noticed something yellow poking out next to my headlight. I popped the hood and my dip stick was just laying there where you see where the oil was sitting right where the hood latches. Whoever changed my oil left the dip stick out and just closed the hood over it. Oil was slightly low because of the oil that came up out of where the dip stick would be and some oil across my engine bay. Will not be returning.

They got me in last minute to get a piece of metal out of my tire. Very polite and helpful and friendly. Thankfully it was an easy removal. Would recommend and go here again. Keep up the good work.

Had a nail in my tire causing the tire to leak air slowly. I showed up today and they were very accommodating. I did not have an appointment but they were able to work around their schedule to patch up my tire. Very friendly service and will be returning for any emergency car needs. You can easily tell this is a community oriented automobile shop that puts the customers best interests first.

I had a problem with my exhaust system. While many places may tell me I needed to replace my muffler they worked for a simple and affordable solution. And worked me in to their schedule. They earned a new customer!

This is a great place. My Tesla Model X had a flat. Tesla Inc, left me high and dry. Elon Musk Tesla Road side Assistance sucks!! Trevor from Tire Choice jumped in to help. He waited 1 hour beyond closing time to accommodate me. He repaired the flat and got me back on track is 1 hour. God Bless him. He is a wonderful professional and knows his job very well. I wish them well.

We were passing though Williamsport on a Saturday afternoon en route to Buffalo and our brake line broke. Thankfully, the tow truck driver brought our car to TireChoice. They worked to fit us into their busy schedule where Trever worked on removing the damaged brake line while another mechanic fashioned/flared a new line for our car. They finished the job Sunday morning (!) and we were on our way again. Friendly staff, great teamwork and expert mechanics - thank you all!

I always take freshly powder coated wheels to Dan at Monro. I have brought several sets of wheels to him and there hasnt been so much as a scratch on them when I get the wheels back from getting tires mounted. I bring my own personal wheels ( 3 piece and cast) and wheels that Ive powder coated for customers without ever having to worry about them being damaged.

I needed an emergency tire replacement, and these guys came through! For me in that day, worked with my tire that didn’t want to come off, kept me informed, and were just really pleasant. I wish I lived in PA so I could make them my regular car care center!

My windshield wiper on the passenger side stopped working and it was storming. I made it home safely and called first thing in the morning to see if they could help me. I talked to Dan, and he said to bring it in. He took care of me so quickly and thank God it was just a loose bolt. He didnt charge me anything and even put air in my tires, which I needed badly. This is why I have been doing business with them for over 35 years. If you want to trust a Auto shop, I highly recommend Tire Choice on the Golden Strip in Williamsport PA.

Relatively fast service for an inspection. A little disappointed that not everyone was wearing a mask, but the gentleman handling the desk did wear one.

The overall service was good their online service needs to be updated to actually show what appointments they actually have available cause when you show up an hour early to drop off your car for the appointment that you scheduled and get told it got rescheduled is a bit annoying cause there was no email or phone call to explain the situation until I showed up if it wasnt for the online issue the rating would be higher hopefully theyll fix the bugs or update the system to actually show actual available appointments or at least call the number listed to give them some kind of heads up about changes to the appointment scheduled

I had a tire for a snowblower I had off the rim that I could not get back on. Dropped it off and?2 hours later they called and said it was done. Went to pay and the just asked for a good review. I really appreciated it. Thx

I was told during my car inspection that I would need rear brakes. I brought my car to The Tire Choice Auto Service. The mechanic and also other mechanics looked at my vehicle to confirm that I did not need brakes. That they were in great shape. Not only did they take their time, had other confirm it, but also save me a lot of money. Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Big thank you to John at Tire Choice for fixing my tire on Sunday. He came out and met me in the parking lot at 3:45pm, and they were closing in an hour and 15 minutes. He went above and beyond making sure my tire was safe for me to drive. All of the staff were courteous, kind and efficient. I will definitely be back!

Dropped my truck off for a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 2p.m. I walked in at 4 p.m. to see of the truck was done, the truck was in the air on the lift when I walked in. When I asked I was told till 6 I said excuse me and he told me they would call me when its done. Absolutely unacceptable service by any standards. Strongly recommend that you avoid this garage or any other Monroe owned garage. I have yet to have a good experience.

Technicians performed work on vehicle without permission. Billing me to get my car back without confirming what they did was fine with me.Technicians informed me wheels were out of balance but i just had my tires rotated and balanced two weeks prior.

I went there without knowing what’s was wrong, they told me my tire pressure was low and they fixed it without charging me! love them

I had piece of metal shielding hanging down under my car and dragging on the ground. They got me right in and took care of it very quickly. I was surprised when they said there’s no charge. Everyone was really nice. I’ll be taking my car there from now on.

Came today to get an oil change. This is a great and professional business. Everyone here was very pleasant and kind. They were also very informative and helpful. Beware of hidden charges and unfriendly staff, even trying to have a simple understanding is difficult. You can make more money by being honest and straightforward.

First of all, I would like to say that for the amount of time that I gave them, they responded FANTASTICALLY. Monro Muffler was straight-forward, honest, and very professional. They did what they said they were going to do and is not a place thats going to try selling you something you dont need.I needed my rear rotors and break pads changed. They took me right in and made a few accommodations for me. Very professional. This is one of those places you absolutely wish most other places were like; however, unfortunately are not.I would absolutely recommend them. Their prices are right where they should be, however they make no compromises with their service and the quality of their parts. Im from New Jersey, so we use our breaks more often than the we use the gas pedal, except on the highways where even the emergency shoulder is 55mph. My rears were more worn out than Faded Glory jeans.Bottom line, if you want the CORRECT service, you go to them. Youll be in better hands than All-State and theyre better neighbors than State Farm.

Monroe has performed all the service on my car since I moved here 4 years ago. I completely trust that they do the work that is that is needed and not more than that. They are competitively price and complete the work in a timely manner. I drive a 1995 Toyota that they keep on the road for me!!! Highly recommended.

I went to Monro first thing the next morning in hopes of getting it replaced, and I needed to get on the road ASAP to make a family event 3 hours away. My heart-felt THANKS to Dan for coming to my assistance Monday morning, July 2, 2018. I was traveling to a local hospital to pick up my husband and was forced off the road attempting to merge onto Rt 180. The berm was littered with debris and within minutes as the thumping started, a trucker pulled alongside and motioned to the back tire—flat!! I was able to park close to the guardrail but still within feet of fast moving traffic. I was very unnerved! First, I alerted the hospital, then I called the only garage I trust my Pathfinder to—Monroe Muffler on 3rd St. I have always felt like they cared for my vehicle as they would their own, always informative, always professional, always caring and genuinely friendly. Dan answered my call and I poured out my disastrous situation. Towing is not a service they provide, BUT he could grab a jack and come to me in 10 minutes to change the spare. I was more than relieved!! True to his word, within a short time; I was back on the road to the hospital. Short this later, I had new tires. So—to the crew at Monroe; Jeri, Manager, Dan and all the servicemen, I am grateful that you cared for me, a customer, as you would your family. Again, THANK YOU 🙏

I had questions this last visit and The gentleman at Monroe showed me on my car exactly the answers to my questions, and in the past they have always given me great advice, and have never over sold me on anything. One example: I needed new tires, I knew I needed new tires. They could have told me I needed four new tires but I only needed three. I needed an oil change, they could’ve told me that my filters needed changed but they said they were fine, possibly next time but not this time. I Will continue to take my vehicle to Monroe, because I know I will get the best service every time.

Tonight I had an emergency at 5 p.m. on my way home from work and they went above and beyond to get me the tires I needed that night no questions asked I was highly impressed with them!

John and Dan were great! The price they quoted me over the phone was dead on. They got the part I needed in for my car when no where else had it. I was in out out in less than 45 mins. Excellent service! Quick and accurate! They didn’t try to get me to buy a bunch of other stuff either which is a plus to me especially being a female. Some places take advantage of when a customer doesn’t know a whole lot about cars, but these guys didn’t do that. They were great! Thank u Monro Muffler, John and Dan, u guys rock!

I was in a bind last night with the snowfall when I managed to curb my tire and pull it off the rim enough to lose all air pressure. They were the only place open who could get me in quickly so I went straight there. Within an hour they had inspected my tire, remounted it, and put it back on my car for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much to everyone who was there last night and I plan to come back for service in the future.

Was traveling to Williamsport from Cleveland when my van started acting up. I let the guys know that I had to leave with the van back home in 2 days. The promptly took a look in the morning and I had my car back the very next day. Highly recommend this place for their speed, efficiency and customer service.

This place is a joke. They over charge and make up problems. My first experience here I brought my car in and they claimed it was going to cost 1,200 to get it inspected. Not satisfied with that answer I tried a local garage instead and it cost less than 500$. Trying to give them another chance I brought my fiancé’s truck in to get inspected. They again claimed it would cost over 800$ to pass inspection. I just took the truck to another garage and got it inspected for 250$! Now tell me how that is possible? This place should be ashamed of themselves.

Had my alternator seize, breaking the serpentine belt on a Dodge 3500 handicapped accessible van..,on a Saturday afternoon to boot. Had the vehicle towed to Monroe and these guys were phenomenal. Not only did they take me right in, but they repaired the vehicle and got me back in the road in under two hours. And this was at the same time that all of their bays were full with other customers. The staff was more than courteous and helpful.

Worked me in to the schedule, Always does a great job at a very reasonable price and goes above by keeping track of how my vehicle is on the safety and most essential parts, so I dont have to. Gave me a print out that my battery is about shot meaning I need a new battery, so I wont be stranded. Saving me from a bad day in the future. Thats good service.

Fantastic service!! I am so grateful. I was at a local hotel and had to leave the next day. They pulled my car in that day and had it back to me in a few hours. They didnt think it would be done in a few days but they got it in and fixed the same day. Definitely recommend this place.

Jerry at Monro was able to squeeze our car in for an inspection at the last minute. He was prompt at getting back to me with an update on what work needed to be done, explained why it needed to be done, and then let us know right away when the car was ready to be picked up. We took our vehicles to this Monro for a few years, moved away, came back and found the same great service!

Right as my mom was leaving to drive back to Pittsburgh from Williamsport she got a flat tire that needed immediate attention. The mechanics at Monro auto service were able to get her in, take care of the tire and out on a Sunday when all other places were closed. Definitely recommend!

They were able to get my vehicle in and fixed on the same day I called. The service is excellent and I would never go anywhere else. For honest and fair service it is truly the best place to go.

Our 5th wheel RV blew a tire on the highway. While all the other tire shops were closing and wouldnt help us. Monroe got the tires in while we were on our way there. They worked us in, got the tires put on and we were on our way quickly with minimal downtime on our trip.

Great service! I recently moved to the area. A family friend was my auto mechanic for years, so I was a bit hesitant going to anyone else, let alone a chain. However, this was my second time coming to this location, and I would definitely recommend it if you want a hard-working staff who will treat you (and your vehicle) with honesty and respect. I came in on a Saturday morning, and I could tell that they were slammed, but they handled it so well. The assistant manager, John, had his hands full but made sure to update me (and every other customer) any time he could on the status of my vehicle, on top of all of his other duties. It’s clear that the staff here takes pride in their work!

Had a brake issue and they were able to repair in one day. Very pleased. I would highly recommend.

The front desk guy is rude and the took my car to fix it charged me 200 and the problem is still there. Then when I called about it they wanted to charge me again. I liked Monroe better

Careless and not thorough, 2 things you dont want in a mechanic. My husband and I have taken our vehicles here on and off for the past decade. I stopped 3 years ago when I picked up my SUV and it has slight body damage on the drivers side. They insisted someone mustve hit it in the parking lot, but that did not seem consistent with the damage at all. They did not care or even apologize. I gave them another chance because they are one of the few with long weekend hours. I need an inspection, oil change, and told them I thought I needed new brakes and rotors, because they were making noise. They called after 6-7 hours to pick up my car, and said the brakes were fine. The next weekend I went on a trip to NY and by the time I got there my car was making awful squealing and grinding sounds. Took it to another garage and my brakes were completely worn down. I needed to replace the brakes, rotors and front caliper was rusted out. Monroe never even looked at them, obviously.

Great service, kind and understanding staff. They got me in on short notice and figured everything out for me. Car trouble is always incredibly stressful but these guys make it so much easier!

They have done a good job taking care of oil changes on my two cars repairing flat tires healing state inspections. They obviously provide more services but I think they have not needed those from them yet. One called theyre always good about telling me when they have time and they have been very prompt with the appointments that they do schedule.

I went there and they got my car in right away with no appointment and it was ready in just a couple hours!! Loved how they checked everything out especially since i have children.!! Will be using them again and would recommend them for others

Requested an appointment online, show up and the guy says he “emailed me that he rescheduled the appointment.” I didn’t even leave an email but I checked anyway and there’s no email from them, not even in my spam box. I left a phone number, a phone call like a normal business would’ve been nice.

Always take my car here. Im very particular about the people who work on my car. Jerry and his crew do good honest work 👍 and get my car in fast.

Fair and Honest!We were traveling on our way to upstate New York, when our Honda Pilot check engine light started blinking and the car began making a rumbling noise. Luckily these guys were open on Sunday and fully checked out our car - swapping out a possible bad spark plug and/or cylinder coil, but the diagnosis finally revealed a bad cylinder valve - which they could not fix and they recommended an engine repair shop. Total cost for all this was $0 - they refused any payment!!!We highly recommend to get your car serviced here!

Yesterday, even though it was cold and windy they were able to fit me into their schedule. I needed breaks lines done on my vehicle. They took the time to explain to me where and what needed to be down, and gave me a break down of the cost.Highly recommended, they are awesome.

Went there today, for a simple belt fix. Cost me $117. Got home, just for it to break right off again, and not to mention made my antifreeze leak. Which wasnt happening before I brought it in. Also a wire cover wasnt put back into place, near where the Work was done. Very poorly done. Definitely lost a customer. Thanks.
