Almost everything went smoothly and professionally when I had new carpeting and luxury vinyl installed in my home except they wouldn’t reinstall my 2 bedroom doors or my 3 closet doors because they no longer fit. I had higher quality carpet, padding, and 1/4 in plywood installed. They had to know from experience that all of the doors would need to be cut to fit. I called and they said they do not supply that service. Their reasoning was that if they shaved the doors down incorrectly to make them fit, they would then own the doors and be responsible for replacing them. So now it’s on me to find a contractor who’s willing to come out for this small job. The new flooring looks great- my open closets and bedrooms without doors not so much. I wish they would’ve mentioned that they don’t take care of the doors before the job was completed and paid for. Overall, I would recommend Oscar’s- just be aware of this lack of attention to a detail that’s very important to any homeowner.

Unfortunately, Oscars carpet one in Williamstown is very hit or miss. Unfortunately, the owner whose name is Sam is unfair and not completely honest. He installed a hardwood floor in my house. His employee was here to give me an estimate and saw the floor that I currently had which was Bruce hardwood natural color with a small bevel. The floor was almost 20 years old when he replaced it so I didn’t think of the bevel. After the floor was installed, I noticed that something looked a little off. Then it hit me, there was no bevel. I called Sam and asked him about it and he said that he didn’t carry the one with beveling. First, I find it hard to believe that that is true. But the most important thing is they should’ve informed me before the installation that they didnt have beveling. So I’m stuck with the floor in here from my house that doesn’t match the other half. Good job Sam, not! Then I decided to give him another chance to install carpet in my fiancé‘s house. Since we are both ill and she was living with me at the time because of the pandemic, we had a friend babysit the installers. They left their house in shambles. closet doors were not reinstalled, beds were not put back together and the worst of it was they stuffed the main bathroom with furniture and other things and never put them back so the bathroom could not be accessed. Since we are, we cannot physically put all that stuff back. We called Sam and the only way he would help is if we paid an extra $260 for the installers to come back out and put things back. He is as arrogant as they come and a terrible businessman. I wouldn’t recommend Sam for anything.

We just had a new Invincible Luxury Vinyl floor for our downstairs and new Lee’s carpet installed upstairs by Oscar’s Capet One. They were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. The installation was scheduled immediately after the purchase and the installers were very prompt neat and courteous. They did a great job! We would definitely recommend them for any new flooring.

Visited store 3x and was able to bring samples home and see them in my own home. Was helped with warranties and also care instructions. I ask a lot of questions and Oscars Carpet One always was patient and had answers. Found the exact hardwood and tile I was looking for. Price was better then other places I shopped and the warranties were actually better. They sent someone to my home and I had a complete and detailed estimate the same day. Ordered the hardwood and tile and was contacted a week later to set up install.Install was done on time and beautiful. From start to finish within 2 weeks they transformed my entire downstairs!! Now I will be back in spring to do the upstairs. Fast, efficient, fair and great people.

Let me first start by saying the installers do a very good job. I have spent a lot of money over the years at Oscars. The last job that Oscars did for me was a large flooring job in my house which turned out really good. The problem that I have was with the flooring they sold me. It was supposed to be top of the line and very durable. Well, that is not the case at all. It is not durable and scratches and dents very easily. I can deal with some scratches or even a few dents. The major problem with the flooring is that if a drop of water gets on the floor, it will cause the floor to bubble and deteriorate. I brought this to their attention and they would not do anything about it at all. I have the floor in my family room, kitchen, and utility room and there are bubble spots all over the place. It looks terrible. I specifically asked when picking the floor out if this particular floor was good for the rooms that I needed it in. I was told yes from the salesperson and reassured on how durable it is and that Oscars stands by all of their products if there is ever a problem. The floor they sold me never should have made it to the store in the first place knowing that it can’t even withstand normal living conditions. The more people we talked to about Oscars the more we found out those similar things happened to other people also, including my neighbor.OUTCOME: Oscars did nothing to remediate the problem at all. They do not stand by their products and will not make things right.Recommendations: Do not buy anything from Oscars. Stay far away from here, there are many other good flooring stores out there that will not lie and cheat you. Do your own research first before buying anything.

After having another company carpet 4 rooms in my house, i was unhappy with the sub-standard carpet and poor installation. I hired Oscars for my childrens nurseries and they knocked it out of the park. They were on time and accurate with their pricing and provided excellent customer service. Do NOT recommend ! They used tools that were not theirs (caught in the act) one was stolen, left caulk all over the place, molding was installed improperly and chipped. The hole for the floor drain isnt even a circle looks like Ray Charles tried to cut it

Great experience: beautiful floors and excellent sales professionals. I used Oscars Carpet One for both my 1st home (Townhouse in 2009) and 2nd Home (single family colonial in 2013). Now that I have moved (2019) I will be using them again, for a 3rd time. They have a vast selection of flooring from carpet to hardwood and tile. In my case, I went with a mid/entry level hardwood in the townhouse since I was selling and Premium Lauzon hardwood in my home. Both floors were beautiful. I cant speak to the longevity of the floor in the townhouse as I only lived on it for several months, however, the Lauzon Premium Hardwood more then exceeded my performance expectations. It survived an energetic 105 lb German Sheppard and looked just as beautiful 6 years post installation! I will be returning for all my new flooring needs!

We bought kitchen flooring from Oscars and the tile finish is wearing off. They told me it is because I did not replace the felt pads on my kitchen chairs often enough. Never have I ever had this problem with any other flooring.They will NOT stand by the inferior product that they sold us.STAY AWAY

We had Oscars carpets refinish our hardwood floors. Know that when you hire them, you are not hiring people who work for Oscars as they outsource their work to 3rd party companys. The first finish started peeling almost immediately and they had to come back to try to fix. We are now at our 3rd attempt and have to start all over. We have spent hundreds of $s and hours worth of time prepping and cleaning up because they have done a horrible job. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone for anything
