If youre in the mood for a super simple breakfast you might be alright eating here. After learning they didnt have grits or oatmeal for my baby girl, nor mushrooms (although theyre all on the menu), I settled with steak cooked at medium temp and eggs, and a side order of hash browns for baby. The steak came well done and the side order of hash browns never came at all. This all really put a damper on the experience. To their credit, they comped the meal and the waitress was decent but there are far better diners out there.
I love their breakfast! Service is usually fast and great, orders come out quickly and correctly, and the specials are amazing. Large portions thats pretty cheap. Great place for breakfast!
This place is also called the Thread City Diner. The portions were good, as were the prices. I tried one of their specials and it was good. The staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It has an easily accessible parking lot, which isnt common on Main St in Willi. That was nice. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to sit down and stay, get a quick bite, or whatever.
Our friends like to breakfast here. The sunflower bread is the best. I ordered the avocado toast. I was surprised that the avocado wasnt mashed, which made it a little tricky to eat. It was fresh, though, as was the tomato.
I ate here a few times with my husband. The cook uses no gloves and touches everything bare hands even puts his hand in his pockets and touches the door & also his hair & hat.I Will not eat here again bacon is never well cooked its always half soggy, the potatoes are always raw and very thick with no flavor at all. The eggs never how I ask, but if you want a stomachache this is the place to go. Not even a star for me more like two thumbs down 👎👎hopefully they can cook better in the future and be more sanitary.
Nice cozy place, nice enthusiastic waitress who built an avocado toast for me because the one on the menu was too big for me. Its super nice that they modify a little for the customer. Also, the menu is great, and if you are super hungry, this is the place for you because the portions are huge.

I love the work that the new owners have done with this diner. Theyve added a lot of new features with the candy and ice cream which is something Ive wanted in town for years.The morning I went for breakfast seemed to be an off day for staff, I will certainly go back, but as this is an open concept restaurant staff should be aware that their conversations and snarky comments at each other especially around food orders, service and business is heard by all guests. That sd be held for private areas.My breakfast was ok. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, but I expected more out of the muffins and home fries were dry and the coffee on the edge of burnt. With the prices so much higher (and that is fine with the improvements and current economy I expect a rise) than the previous ownership, I expected the food to be on point.There is opportunity to grow for sure. If they worked with local vendors or made some food from scratch, Im sure it would take the menu to the next level and make this diner shine.

I had the special steak and eggs asked for medium steak and oven light for the eggs. I got a rare steak and over cooked eggs. Sent it back and came back the same over cooked eggs. The cook over cooked 6 eggs. Ive been there 3 times since the the owner and every time my order was messed up. Will never go back again

First time here today. Super fast service and lots of food. If you leave hungry, it is your fault! Had a Benny Omelette - eggs Benedict in omelette form - delicious twist on a classic. Was so amazed at the size of the portions and how yummy it looked, I forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend and definitely will be back again 😃
The food is consistently very good here. The portions are enormous and the prices are extremely reasonable. Are fun and delicious - todays included bourbon peach waffles and chorizo hash. The coffee is fresh and strong. The service is great the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Youll get more food than you bargained for, so be prepared! Comfort food is done right, also options for lighter fare like yogert and fruit. They used to have real maple syrup for, but not recently, so bring your own if you need it for pancakes or waffles! Different specials offered daily.
Thread City Diner is a great local eatery with charm and history. My breakfast was delicious and they made it quickly. The portions are huge, absolutely huge. Staff are friendly and polite and make helpful suggestions about the menu. I wish they stayed open a little longer than noon but its a consistent place to get a great breakfast.
I stopped here this past Sunday, and had an great Special breakfast (Jalapeno Cornbread Waffle and Fried Chicken) The staff was attentive, and the place was PACKED! Get here early, as they fill up quick. We didnt wait that long at all, 5 Stars all around

Great breakfast spot. Staff is very friendly and efficient and the food is great but just a bit salty. Owner seems to run a tight ship which is good but his periodic outbursts when he is unhappy with a staff member can be an uncomfortable experience for the staff and the customers. But i have to admit that it is also a bit entertaining. In the end, the food is good and fairly priced so this place is well worth checking out.

We were out doing errands and we were starving. I typed breakfast near me into Google maps and this place was 1 min. away. It was wonderful. They have many great breakfast options, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge. We will definitely return if we are in the area.
So normally its my favorite place to go for a great affordable breakfast. however today... we were served with watery eggs... watered down orange juice and MOLDY toast... n then when new toast was brought back to us it had enough butter on it to butter a whole loaf... I am so glad my daughter saw the mold before biting into the toast. so very disappointed today... check ur food so u dont get sick!

5 words: Grilled Tomatoes On The Menu. They had me at Tomatoes. Great prices. Nice traditional menu. Great sausage gravy....having lived half of my life in the South Id know. All in all I cant say enough good things so Ill just say I look forward to going back time after time after time.
Horrible experience. Called and were told no wait. Got there about 3 minutes later and waited 20 minutes. In the hour and 20 minutes after we were seated, we had to ask for my wifes coffee, as the rest of us had already had drinks for 10 minutes or so.We waited quite a while for our food, more than 30 minutes. My daughter had to send her French toast back, missing the whip cream and strawberries. It came back with whip cream, no strawberries. My son and I had to ask for the juice/coffee that came with our meal.My meal came with a hair in it. We reported it and were comped $4 for an $11 meal with no offer to return the meal. When speaking to the manager, the owner came up, told me she doubted we found a hair in the meal and told the manager to just get rid of us.I visited this restaurant several years ago and it was amazing. Not so much anymore. Unfortunately the wait at That Breakfast Place was long for a family of 6. Turns out if we had waited, not only would we have gotten our food faster but it would have been accurate AND delicious. Oh and without hair too!

Large portion sizes for reasonable price with bottomless coffe . Bring an appetite youll need it. Went on a Sunday morning got seated immediately. The have many tables for seating and a counter to sit at if you are looking for that old school diner feel.
My son and I walked in at 11:50. They close at noon. No issues. They were quick and was good food. They were very pleasant and Ive never seen bigger pancakes than this place!
Large portion sizes, good breakfast options, bacon had issues... Had a funny taste. Mine was ordered xtra crispy and was soft, sons was crisper but both had that odd taste. He is a everything bacon lover and was not happy with this bacon. Waitress was good. Atmosphere was nice. Large tables great for groups.
