Otter Creek went above and beyond for me this spring. My umbrella, which I bought from them many years ago, under different management, was in bad shape and had also been discontinued by the company. In spite of that, they took responsibility and fixed it for me in a timely and well done manner . . .and they did it with a smile. They are #1 in my book and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Just a quick note to share that the whole process from picking out a new awning to the installation today went on like clockwork. My Otter Creek awning, installed in 2012, is the best home improvement since I bought the house in the early 2000s. The awning has allowed us to use our sunny and hot deck in all seasons. It is a fairly windy location so we pull it in when winds are in the forecast. But we are still able to leave it extended 1/3 to shade the windows without wind damage.Last year, I noticed a couple of tiny frays in the fabric. These were not due to flaws in the fabric but likely due to hitting the awning with a ladder (oops). Otter Creek sent patches (clear adhesive, easily applied). You cant even see them and the fabric is protected. I thought I might need to replace the fabric, but a couple of patches did the trick. $$ saved.My awning is manually retractable. It glides in easily. But on one occasion last summer, it seemed stuck. I requested a service call, but the rep instructed me on how to adjust the awning. It then retracted so easily. $$ saved again! look forward to upgrading to a motor-driven retraction system if it becomes difficult for me to operate the manual system as I get older.

We installed a large Gennius awning and a solar shade for our western-facing patio & deck. The process was relatively smooth from initial consults with Andrew to final install with Rene and the company was quick to fix a few issues that popped up along the way. Overall pleased with the customer service and the product.

The fit of the awning to our deck was perfect, and the whole screen room looks like it was part of the original house. The framework is sturdy and handles both off-season winter storms and summer noreasters, so we are very comfortable in sitting in our screen room watching the fierce storms blow around us. I love my sun room I had installed last year. I can have nice clean air in the room and into my house with out getting all the bugs with it!I sometimes wish I had gotten a heated one for winter....Beth was fantastic on giving me all the info and pricing. She and her crew of workers were all super! The work was done on time and with great care.Would have them back for other things in a heart beat....so if you need what they can provide, but all means call them .......

Going into my closet was the worst way to start the morning. My husband and I had Otter Creek Custom Closets come out & install their system in our (small) master closet. The result is 10% more organized space. And it looks great. So glad we made this improvement! ...Im grateful every morning.

Called the store and asked for someone to come out and bid an awning job for our deck. Candice came out and spent quite a bit of time with us - what we wanted was way out of our budget - thats not her fault, however. We liked the way Candice dealt with us so much that we visited the store that weekend and purchased a Special Cantilevered Umbrella to replace one that we destroyed during the winter. Ben and his colleague installed it today 4/20/17 and we couldnt be happier. They neglected to bring the stow cover for it and they went right back to the store and delivered it to us. Pleasure to do business with this company.

We had a friend with several OC awnings and shades. Because they were quite happy with theirs, we ordered one from OC. They were a delight to work with and the awning was installed just when they said it would be. We were very happy with how the awning looked, both retracted and extended.Our problem was that our condo assn reneged on their approval of the awning, and forced us to remove it. Even then OC was great, in that they removed it without charge and is helping us to sell it.Over all, a sad tale, but OC has been a wonderful partner throughout.
