Sent my slide projector as the caresel would not move forward nor backwards. I was told it was $125.00 but was not told it would take 3-5 weeks before it would be worked on. However there would be faster service if Idpay more, and was provided with other prices. I asked for the week charge. I paid my own cost for delivery and return of my slide projector. It came yesterday and IT DOESNT WORK. !!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CENTER. BE CAREFUL M
My old Yashica Mat 124 G needed to be fully restored. I sent the camera to Complete Camera Center for full restoration. This was my first time to do business with this center. The work they did to my camera is just absolutely amazing. They fully restored my Yashica Mat 124 G to factory spec condition...its like having a new camera. Complete Camera Center staff are professional, knowledgeable, and do great work. Highly recommended!
Communication with Lezots staff was excellent, and they did a great job cleaning, lubricating and adjusting my beloved Olympus OM-4 that Ive had from new. It now works like new again, and I consider the price very reasonable. I recommend them without reservation.
As a pro, its very reassuring to know that I have a repair operation that I can count on to clean a sensor, fix a camera or lens or otherwise provide insight into gear-related issues. I have relied on LeZot Camera Repair for all of these things over the past 10 years or so. Vinny is also just a great guy. I am thrilled with their new location in Williston, in part because its within walking distance to my studio!
Can I give SIX stars, please ?I contacted Compete Camera Center because I was having some sensor issues. To be perfectly honest, I thought I was contacting a Williston offshoot of the LeZot’s in Burlington (who I had called and emailed a week before, but got no response). Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some good service and bought some great gear from LeZot’s over the years, but I’ve noticed the attitude of the staff over the past few years has become increasingly snarky (it’s not like I’m a noob—I’ve been a videography andphotography professional for 25 years) and whenever I go into their shop or call them, I always feel unwelcome, like I’m “interrupting”, or just invisible.Regardless, I knew their repair work was good (though expensive), and when I found out they had a Williston location, I was psyched, as I live in Essex Junction and it’s much closer. The person I spoke with on the line was refreshingly kind and helpful, and we set up a time for me to drop off my camera.Literally as I was pulling into the parking lot, I got a call from LeZot’s (in Burlington, a full week after I first reached out to them) and I told them I was actually just arriving in their lot. He asked “Are you in Burlington?” and I said, “No, I’m at your Williston store.” He let out an aggressive sigh and patronizingly said “That ISN’T us. WHATEVER. Good luck...” and hung up on me. I dropped off my camera at Complete Camera Center (which is owned by the ORIGINAL owner of LeZot’s, and has full legal right to use the LeZot name) a bit nervous, hoping for the best.I tried calling on Monday to check on the status of my camera (I had a potential shoot on Friday, so just wanted to make sure it would be ready in time) and accidentally called the wrong LeZot. The owner just badmouthed the owner of Complete Camera Center, and when I asked if they were a legitimate outfit or if I should have anything to worry about, he just said “You’re asking the wrong guy. Good luck.”So at this point, I’m petrified. But I had no reason to be. I got an email from Cole (the original, helpful CCC employee I emailed with. The kind person I spoke with by phone was Vinny, the long-time owner of the ORIGINAL LeZot Camera, and now owner of CCC), and Cole let me know my camera was ready for pickup (just TWO business days after I dropped it off—fantastic turnaround!) and he even let me stop by during his lunch hour! When I arrived, I called and Cole took my credit card info over the phone and left my gear at the pickup station (this was at peak of COVID-19). Not only did they provide a receipt (for the very reasonable fee they quoted me, to the penny), they also provided me with a print out of before and after photos showing the massive improvement from the cleaning, and wrapped my camera in plastic for me!I got home and tested it out and the camera works PERFECTLY. They did an amazing job, didn’t try to upsell me with unnecessary repairs, and most important of all, they were extremely responsive and treated me with respect and courtesy.CCC, you have won a fan (and VCC a customer) for life. From now on, this is my go-to for all of my camera needs. Thanks so much for fixing my camera and for making it a simple, fun, affordable, and timely experience!
Cool place! Super nice people. I highly recommend if you need your camera repaired!
Vinny has fixed several cameras for me, and hes always done an excellent job. Its clear that some of the reviews on here arent for the camera repair side, because Vinny is such a nice guy, I could never imagine him being described as anything other than that! Excited about the new Williston location. Convenient parking on a nice street in downtown Williston. Keep up the good work!
LeZot Camera Repair just moved location to Williston Village, which is a lot more convenient than finding parking downtown. The owner does all the repairs in house and hes been doing it for decades, definitely knows his stuff.Im not sure why there are negative reviews, maybe they were about past employees or about the Retail Camera Center, which is a separate business, still on Church St.Ive only ever had positive experiences with Vinny and the LeZot Camera Repair folks! Definitely recommend bringing your repairs to Williston.
LeZot Camera in Williston and in the Church St Mall are mediocre experiences at best.At the mall, I brought in a kit camera lens and tried to sell it since it wasnt great quality. I was offerend $10 store credit (because the lens wasnt worth much). I decided that Id bring in the old film SLR and the flash along with the lens and see how much that would pull in. Still was worth $10 in store credit! Absolute tosh.Another time, I had an accident and the filter on my old, rare Minolta 50mm f1.4 lens. It had been dropped and while the lens itself was intact, the filter had cracked and bent into the lens in such a way that I was unable to unscrew it. I went to the Williston location and after an appraisal which took far too long (more than a week!), I was told that the repairs would take 3 weeks and then the service itself would cost >$80! This was because I had foolishly agreed to let them remove the mold from inside the lens (which is possible to do on your own, the only cost being a little vinegar or rubbing alcohol). I finally received the lens and paid. While the mold is gone and I can use the lens again, it will not achieve focus, even at f/4! Admittedly, this could be from the accident but I would try and find another store which will a) not make you wait for such an abysmal amount of time and b) will not cost >$80 to wash away mold and remove a smashed filter.
Heres what you need to know about LeZot Camera Rapair:LeZot.Is.The.Best.Hands down. Ive dealt with LeZot for years and I have NEVER been disappointed.Ask for Vinny. Hes the guy you want to work with.Bonus: The new location is great!
Vinny is great to work with! I would highly recommend taking a few minutes to check out his shop FIRST before you re-purpose your old camera! Vinny gives your camera a new life with old fashioned service! Hard to find these days... Check this shop out!
Double big shout out to everyone at LeZot. I thought I was going to have to chuck my digital camera. They showed me how to focus correctly. Everything is perfect now. Plenty of free parking and a great camera tech! Thanks LeZot!
I spent that last hour of the store being opened (when many workers have lost their gusto) yet I was greeted openly by two young guys. I immediately felt comfort discussing my camera issues. There were no pushy salesmen here! They were also very kind and understanding while I jabbered on and on about my love of my camera ( which is basically loaded with outdated, no longer made parts.). Fixxes could occur, but will not be very cost effective. They were so willing to talk to me about the newer cams out there now and give me some great advice! Would HIGHLY recommend LeZot’s Camera in Williston!!!
Great people that know what they are doing. There service department is A+++ and will make your camera like new. The new location in Williston makes it so much easier to get in and out.
Sent them a lens to repair and they really took care of me. If youre looking to have a repair done by a skilled and experienced technician at a business with a caring and professional staff, this is your place!
Vinny is a masterful technician and superb businessman. He offered me a terrific price for my used l-series Canon lens last year. Today, I brought him a busted polarizer filter and he fixed it on the spot pro bono. Thank you! Cant recommend this shop highly enough. In a world where brick-and-mortar business is an endangered species, LeZot is a lion, indeed!
Wonderful place! Vinny and his staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. Great new location, easy to get to and easy to park.
Great pricing, great work.
Needed some special screws for my bird cam and the LeZot guys fixed me up. They refused money and the screws worked perfectly!
I bought a Pentax 67ii on ebay and stupidly left it on a shelf for over a year before I used it and found that the film winding lever did not work. Couldnt get a refund so then I contacted my regular repair shop near me in California but couldnt find anyone who would/could fix it. Then I found LeZot! They are absolutely great. I mailed my Pentax to them and got it back in a timely manner. I think their price was fair and I finally got to use my camera! They are friendly and very professional. Would recommend them to anyone. :)
Ive recently had the pleasure of finding LeZot on eBay while shopping for some Nikon accessories. I was very pleased to find that they had a published phone number that allowed me to telephone and speak with Vincent to ask questions about the item I was looking for. I found him (and Melanie) to be most helpful and patient. They even found something to send along with my purchase that wasnt originally included in the sale price - what a great bonus! Shipping time from the northeast all the way to south FL only took 2 days. I couldnt ask for better service.Id highly recommend this business for you camera buffs out there looking to add great equipment to your collection at reasonable prices.
Always able to help me with vintage photography supplies.
I am a techno-illiterate little old lady who takes pictures with a camera. LeZot has been great about helping me with camera repairs, reproducing photos, etc. I would certainly recommend them to people of all capabilities.
LeZot Complete Camera Center kills!I sent in a few of my old Canon film bodies as well as a Yashica TLR to get cleaned, repaired, and back to good working condition.Vincent was super helpful in answering questions I had before sending my bodies in, and Bryan was excellent in following up after the repairs were completed.Im all about quality over quantity, and I would rate the work completed 15/10 stars. The lenses and viewfinders are spotless, the new light seals are straight and clean, and the shutters are now making that satisfying snap sound, like they came straight off the factory floor.I HIGHLY recommend LeZot for your camera repair needs!
Very helpful, even if you dont buy anything
I wouldnt trust anyone but Vinny with my camera needs! The new Williston location is so much more convenient!
Thanks for doing such a great job, Vinny! Love your new place!
Found LeZot after local camera repair company said my Canonet QL17 could not be repaired. Not only did they repair it, they also converted the battery voltage to user friendly batteries. So pleased, that I sent my Canon A-1 to be serviced as well. If you are shooting a SLR and it needs seals or just a good CLA dont hesitate to give LeZot a call.
Very down to earth camera repair shop in Williston. The owner himself (Vinny) has many years of experience fixing cameras of all types and sizes and hes the guy at the bench! You can rest assured your equipment will come back to you better than you left it. Theyll take care of you here. The negative reviews below are not warranted. Im not sure if the reviewer understands the definition of snotty, as this place is very far from it. Its also very interesting someone would complain about an expensive fix that was supposedly simple. Vinny uses a methodical approach to fix your equipment and his goal is to return the equipment in tip top shape without rushing to conclusions that may damage the sensitive components.
Just had my Nikon D5100 repaired by Lezots Camera Repair. Vinny was very accomodating. They gave me great service and the price was reasonable. I recomment Lezots to anyone needing a variety of camera related services.
I bought a Linhof 4x5 kit from these guys, and I couldnt be happier with my purchase, or the help I was provided in making it. Cant recommend them higher.
Vinnie is very fair honest and good prices
Best place to get a sensor cleaned.
