I had a great experience with Penske for my move from Vermont to Kansas from start to end. I hated moving after having a terrible experience with a full service mover a few years ago, so I decided to do it myself this time, and I am glad I chose Penske for their great pricing, new trucks, and wonderful customer service.I must commend Brandon at their Williston, VT agency for being exceptionally helpful. It was my first time driving a moving truck and a car trailer, and he showed me the ropes which made my journey a lot smoother. I had a wonderful experience overall, and if I need a truck again I would choose Penske.

The truck showed up late but the guy that was helping me was more then accommodating. Really made my time and money well spent. I will definitely be going back and using penske over other moving truck companies in the future

My experience at the Jacksonville Florida office was fantastic, but here in Williston Vermont I was not impressed whatsoever! The staff was not helpful whatsoever and instead of calling the day prior I received a phone call about an hour before leaving from a lady saying she was leaving at noon and I would have to go to Barre if I needed anything before Monday. Yet the hours listed on the website are until 1600. So I had yo drive 45 minutes out of the way to drop the car carrier off and then had to pay for the fuel to cover that distance. Unacceptable if you ask me and I would highly recommend that no one go to this location! The gentleman in Barre was fantastic to work with this morning.

I admit I like Penske both for their price and people. Awesome experience. The guys were very friendly and helpful and we were in and out! Good deal. Unlimited miles. Truck ran great. Picked up in Burlington VT. Dropped off in Tampa, FL. Hands down best service among rental companies for moving. Would definitely use again or recommend for anyone.

Great experience! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate whatever your needs are. They had my truck ready exactly as planned and actually offered me a discount because I was willing to take a smaller vehicle than I had originally reserved, although I did have the luxury to decide because they had both available. It worked out well for everyone! I ended up with a cargo van, which was just enough space to hold my personal furniture for the move. The van had two DC charger ports and the radio had an aux input which meant I could listen to my ipod the whole way.I highly recommend Penske!

Our contract stated the truck was full of gas, but it only had half tank- no one answered when I called back...

One star is above for this guy Gregory in Wiliston Vt he is no person who should be in customer service. I picked up in Colorado, Loveland, where Trevor told me make sure its filled before you drop it off, make sure the needle is between full and the first line or they will charge you. Also said its a 24/7 drop off. Ok easy enough 1.9 miles away from the return center in Wiliston I filled it, yet Gregory in Wiliston, charged me 12.5 gallons at $8.00 per gallon! I was also told by the 800 number that I called when trying to drop the truck off that because I had a car dolly the truck couldnt be dropped off 24/7 and if I did drop it off I would be liable for it. So I put a lock on the truck door to secure those contents and a lock on the car dolly to the truck. Well good ole Gregory cuts my nice combo locks, which he even said on the phone thats fine as long as I was there in the morning to take them off. This Greg guy is pure brutal. Not even once does he try and make these situations right. He also over charged us and made it quite a hassle to apply the AAA discount, the guys in Colorado applied it no problem. He offered zero understanding with the fuel, and cheesy compensation about my locks, he replaced with a cheaper key style which are garbage. I had my receipts still in the truck along with other paper work which was locked and I had the key and all that was thrown away. He said the truck was gone so I couldnt even take it to go fill it which I offered because diesel is $3.25. Very disappointed I probably should have paid the couple bucks extra for UHAUL. Perhaps next time UHAUL will be my choice.Mike.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and nice during every phone call and when we picked up our truck. My fiancé and I have always used uhaul but we will be switching to penske. The trucks are better and the customer service cant be beat.

Incompetent staff. Dont know who they can, and cant rent to. Really screwed me and my staff with a last minute phone call letting me know they cant rent me the truck I reserved 1.5 months in advance.

The truck we had was sluggish and would not maintain highway speeds on hills. Refuel yourself or expect to pay $5.00 per gallon for diesel fuel.

Went to get a truck that was supposedly rented but when we got there they didnt have any.
