I was looking for a kit for my son and I came across Stebal Drums on the web. I was tired of shopping for kits at other retailers that weren’t just strictly drums, so I had hope going in there. When we pulled in my son saw their inventory thru the window and got really excited. We went in and were greeted by the employees. Rodney was the one who helped us out…he was very helpful, not pushy to make a sale at all. He heard out what we were looking for in a kit, asked us our budget, took my son around the store personally to try out different kits and cymbals, then he prepared a quote on shells that we picked out and he assembled the hardware and cymbals based on what my son said he liked and didn’t like based on tones. He built the entire kit in the store so that my son could play them and decide if he liked them. Rodney did an excellent job picking everything out, my son loved all the sounds and tones of everything he picked out. He was even right at the price we told him we wanted to be at. I would definitely recommend Stebal Drums, they have won our trust and we will be shopping there exclusively in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new Pearl drumkit from Stebal’s. In addition to a terrific price, I would have to say at this store’s strongest point is service! The entire staff is very personable, and extremely knowledgeable about all things drumistic.Not one, but TWO sales people helped me for several hours, assembling the perfect kit for me. Rod spent quite a bit of time with me, patiently answering all my questions, and making gentle suggestions about the kit as well as excellent (used)hardware. He was aware of my budgetary limits and pointed me in the right direction for getting the most bang for my buck.Not once did I feel pressured ! We set up the kit, Rod tuned it to perfection, and let me play it for a while. What a fantastic resource, and a genuinely nice guy.Rick was also instrumental in making this a memorable experience. Between taking care of other customers, he would come over to assist me with excellent advice and suggestions, plus a great sense of humor. Both of these sales people/drummers have a wealth of drum knowledge and experience.I dare say you would never get this kind of service at Guitar Center or any other music stores in the Cleveland area.John Stebal has a great selection of everything drum related, with competitive prices and unsurpassable service. If they don’t stock what you are looking for, they will order it for you. I only wish I could give six stars instead of five!This is the only drum store for me! Does not get better than this place. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. They know what theyre talking about, through giving spot on recommendations and being there for the customer. I recently bought a set of Evans Hydraulic heads based off a recommendation from Ron. Showed him a video of my desired sound, he knew exactly what the next step was. This place is awesome!

Ive never had more fun in a music store, the employees bring such a great vibe to the place!

Started taking drum lessons at Stebal Music back in 1977. I would just go there to dream and talk to Johns dad cause he was such a amazing person and musician. I was just a kid but he always had time for all my questions. Then his son John turned that little music store into a drummers paradise and help me take my drumming to another level. I do miss all the little music stores that used to be around because of the atmosphere they created but John is helping to keep that atmosphere alive with his drummers paradise.

Ive only been in once it looks nice my daughter gets lessons so it cant be that bad 😄

If you are a drummer in Northeast Ohio or visiting the area, Stebal Drums is worth checking out. They always have something vintage in stock as well as a great selection of drum accessories. The guys there know what they are talking about.

The guys who work there are really helpful, nice, funny, laid back, and cool. I used to go to guitar center for my drumming needs but you cant beat their prices and genuine personalities as people. Their selection of drumming gear is also very voluminous. I highly recommend this place to any drummer.

Stebals has a great selection of drums and related items but its greatest asset is its experienced and passionate staff. They will spend the time and use there expertise to guide you on your next purchase whether it be a new set of sticks or a new kit.

My husband, who has bought and sold quite of bit of music equipment there throughout the years, was recently at Steebals to sell his old drumset. Long story short, the experience ended up being very disappointing for him since the offer was quite lower than what his experience with them had led him to originally believe he would probably get for it.

** SHADY UNDER SELLING BEWARE !!! **Horrible horrible in store communication and miss leading customer sales. I live in Bolingbrook, IL and was interested in a yellow 70s Ludwig vistalite drum set I heard they had for sale. I called on a weds. talked to a gentleman named Rick.Only pic I saw on their site was of kit stacked and thats it. I asked a few questions about the kit, condition etc, and if I can get some more pics sent to me as he mentioned some cosmetic issues. I offered to pay some kind of deposit for a hold as he mentioned to me his photography guy was off and not in until the next day (thurs.) and told me he will just hold the drums under my name until we figure it out. I agreed.Next day I start getting texts only with three of the six drums pictures for, and the following actual texts: First pic are 2 good ones. 2nd is the worst one. Some guy just called and may be checking them out sometime soon now too (my response) Ok there is still more drums tho right? If we make a deal today it will be paid today and picked up tomorrow (as I had mentioned the previous day I had a friend driving into IL to visit my family for the holidays and was willing to make a 2hr out of the way north trip to grab these drums for me and deliver)stores next text: We have to go with first pay wins ( ok now this is where it got shady .... I responded of course, however I was first in line the day before this person and remember you just read earlier Rick from Stebal Drums wouldnt take my monetary hold over the phone to hold until we figured it out as they dont accept deposit holds on a consignment but he promised me it will be held under my name until I got additional pics etc. he then asked for me to call him, which I responded in a bit (as I was at work and it was about 12:30pm) then I get the following immediately after ..... Dont kill the messenger but I believe they just sold. ..... my response to this BS Huh? You told me yesterday that you would hold them for me without accepting me to pay a deposit until we got me the pictures?? Otherwise I would of paid a hold deposit yesterday and the drums would of been mine. .yep folks thats right the store sold the kit from under me even tho I was in talks the day before with no other interested party, was denied my deposit hold and promised we will figure it out tomorrow when Stebal Drums guy who takes pics is in. Stebal Drums does shady business under selling a customer for another. Again I was a serious interested buyer and offered a credit card hold and followed the directions I was told by I believe Rick is a manager of the store.No apology, just a I guess there was a deal with the owner and someone else I didnt know about? What can I do?? Theyre sold, thats all I can say . Really? I call BS .... How about you call this other person and explain your mess up and sell and finish MY DEAL as it was in a two day process because OF YOUR COMMUNICATION!!!OUT OF STATE POTENTIAL BUYERS.*** BEWARE !!! ***
