It was every bit the freak show that I was hoping for!! Owner is the friendliest person around. Helpful and knowledgeable. Almost as much of a museum as it is a store. Prices are very reasonable. I will go there again.

Another great visit to my favorite oddity shop! The atmosphere is just as fun and bustling, the maxamist layout and cool art and all the fun interesting people that wander thru, not to mention seeing Shop Cat again, it was a blast! Always highly recommend this place to any fellow oddballs and readers, artists, performers, or curious eyes! Depsite the nature of the items for sale, the owners are full of life to make up for all the dead things decorating the walls, and will leave you feeling excited and happy to come again! I always love to pay a visit, whether or not Im buying something the experience is always the best!

Incredible time as always! The owners are so friendly and you never know whos going to walk through the door. A trip here is always an experience. They have some of the most unusual, interesting, morbid, rare, and fascinating items I have ever seen. Every inch of the store has a different item for your eyes to enjoy. This is one of the most absolute coolest places to visit and purchase unique gifts. Very eclectic one of a kind items you will never find anywhere else. The owners are lovely wonderful people and very welcoming. This is definitely a place to stop and support local business.

Ive been to oddities/curiosities shops across the country and have never been to one with owners as passionate and hospitable as Oddporium. Most shops have similar goods (taxidermy, articulations, medical quack devices, morbid artifacts, etc.), but the passion that these guys show for their products is what sets Oddporium apart. If I ever make it back to Wilmington, it will undoubtedly be a place I visit again!

This place was amazing to visit and had a little something to interest anyone who likes things a little left of stereotypical. They had letters from serial killers on display, among some amazing art from local artists! Theres also a lot of beautifully crafted jewelry, and tons upon tons of antique/vintage wares. Most of it is for sale, as far as I could tell. It was a truly wonderful experience and I cannot wait to visit again!

Im not really sure how to review this store. Its just something you simply have to visit to understand. The owners are wonderful! Always personable, always recognize my face (Ive only been there 3 times), have all sorts of trinkets and new age/paranormal stuff. I believe the store is in an old morticians house? Beth will take the time and show you around the store giving you a full view of their oddities and curios giving You the option to get a closer look, open most of the display cases and explore. Great prices and selection thats always changing. See something you want? Better buy it fast because that next time you come in it might be gone! This is a hidden gem in Delaware.

This place is fun. Lots of stuff to look at and the owner (?) was truly excited to share all the interesting stuff with lots of stories to go along. Definitely stop in and check it out. We spent about 30- 45min there.

This place is super awesome! I love it here and recommend to so many people to at least go once. They have so many odds and ends, and totally fill your creepy factor. I was lucky enough to find this little jewel during a recent visit to Wilmington, my childhood town, from Charlotte, North Carolina. The Oddporium is ran by Beth and Ken, both of them are incredibly nice and very interesting people.To say the Oddporium has character would be a vast understatement. This store is alive. Everything on display, and even the building itself, has a story behind it and a reason its there.The pieces can be slightly macabre, bizarre, or just outright odd but its a treat to see, touch, or even buy something youll most likely never see again.The store is a living portrait of human life; celebrating both life and death.I absolutely loved it.

If you are looking for a 2 headed pig fetus for inspiration to help create your next piece of work, or are in search of disturbing medical equipment that could possible be used as a torture device, or a beautiful yet disturbing painting for your living room than this is your place. They have a great selection of local artist paintings, sculptures, jewelry and other one of a kind piece that you wont find anywhere else. It is my favorite place to get gifts for my friend who enjoy the abstract, occult or just have a distinct taste. When you go make sure you give yourself a good bit of time, because they have such interesting items you will lose yourself. Beth and Ken are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the items they sell, they even create some items themselves.

Owners are so rad and know the history of all the stuff in the shop. If you have any questions about anything weird they are the people to ask. The shop is full of cool stuff. I have gotten some badass animal skelton articulations from here. This is the only place my wife and daughter shop for presents for me!!!

The oddporium basically gave me the courage to be myself. Not only that, but beth is such a sweet person, and makes you feel welcomed whenever. I allways will have an extra place in my heart for the oddporium. If i could give more than 5 stars, i would. I HIGHLY reccomend!!!!!!
