I SPECIFICALLY asked them not to run a “shot gun” credit check for every bank under the sun. I said you may run my credit but only 3 times, my interest rate would be fine with any bank because my credit it’s terrible. They ran my credit 12 times! A after the salesman made it a point to tell me they don’t do that. I found out after I went to refinance my house. terrible business practice. I will never buy another car from there again.

I have had challenges with higher end dealers and their service as they think you are stuck because they are geographically so far apart. And then the manager answered some of the harder ones based on they will have to order them. Unlike Carmen Ford where the manager didnt have enough time to walk 40 feet over and answer questions. Ask for Mike Cassidy. He was great! Very knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable and took the time to review several options, so that I picked the vehicle that was best for me. He made the experience fun, low pressure and I left the store feeling good about my purchase as well as my trade-in. I’ve purchased many vehicles over the years and Mike by far, provided the best experience compared to other sales people I’ve come across. In regards to financing, they didn’t offer the best rate at first, so make sure that you do your homework and know what’s available before you buy but when pressed, they provided a lower rate. They will review many aftermarket options while in finance such as extended warranties, maintenance options etc., that will add on about another $200-$300 to your monthly payment, no thank you. When it came to delivery of the vehicle, the vehicle was clean and Mike went as far as to have them buff out a little smudge to make sure the vehicle wasn’t scratched before I left. I would definitely come back and buy another vehicle, as long as Mike was my salesperson. : )

I cant say enough good things about Delaware Cadillac. I went in Saturday to test drive an XT4. The salesperson I was to see was busy with another customer, so I worked with James, and Im so glad I did. James was GREAT!! Such a pleasant person, and no pressure whatsoever. He gave me they keys, did a quick tutorial, and I was on my own. Because the dealership is in the city, I really just took a spin around the block. With my experience with other dealerships, the salesperson drives along; not here. After my test drive, he found another XT4 on the lot in my preferred color. There was no pressure whatsoever to talk deals afterwards. I had my eye on a CT4 on the showroom floor, and after getting figures on the XT4, I asked for info about the CT4, for sh!ts and giggles, and ended up buying that, without even a test drive. I left feeling like I got a great deal on my new car, and I love it!! James explained nearly every feature on my new car, and helped with the setup. They were really busy, and my daughter and I mentioned we were hungry, and he even gave us pizza! They really know how to take care of the customers at Delaware Cadillac. I have to mention I was in there several years ago, and the sales person was condescending and schmarmy. They have newer management and it is for the better. I couldnt be happier with my new car, and with my experience with Delaware Cadillac. It was actually a fun experience. We got to watch my new car roll out of the Big Doors (silly, but the other customers came out to watch too...its no longer a mystery how they get the cars in and out!). See you in 3 years, James!

Michael Cassidy did an excellent job of finding out what car features were important to us and made sure to recommend vehicles that aligned with what we wanted. He was extremely helpful during the test drive as he suggested specific roads to drive on so he could demonstrate impressive car operability and maneuvers. He fully explained how to operate all the electronic functions on the dash; and was friendly, professional, and helpful during the entire transaction. Harry also got involved during the sale and exceeded our expectations and helped make the experience at Delaware Cadillac enjoyable and pleasant. On Saturday, 7/21/2018 I met Mike Cassidy, an experienced car sales man, who knows how to talk and listen to a person interested in a vehicle. I arrived at 4pm on a Saturday, 1 hour prior to closing and Mike greeted me like he was beginning his day, with energy, a smile and patience.He listened and enjoyed a cup of coffee with me, as I explained what had unfolded with my previous vehicle over the past 48 hours. He genuinely wanted to help and respected the amount of money I could afford and came back with a payment 1/3 less than I anticipated.The entire process way stress free, he made me feel very comfortable with his welcoming personality and sharing stories of the relationships he has formed in his 25+years of selling vehicles.I walked out with less stress then arriving and comfortable knowing, I could afford the payment him and David Stanton were able to get me. I walked out in with keys in hand, in under 2 hours. We agreed to return on Monday, at the end of my day, to have the car detailed and for a courtesy fill of gas. I went in for an oil change and to have my rear cup holder fixed. The oil was changed and the holder was fixed. Another issue was found and was provided great service. However they offered to wash the car before I left but it was still dirty when I got in it. I would have provided 5 stars if it was actually washed like they offered.

Stay far away from this dealership. It is very racist and the General Manager Greg Ritter is a racist, a proven liar, and even went as far as to commit perjury when he lied under sworn testimony. I have seen Cadillac service department work on a Cadillac that was less than a year old, that came back to their service department 5 times in 2 weeks for the same leak. How can a certified Cadillac dealer not be able to fix that elderly womans car the first time. Im thinking that all they care about is keeping your money out your bank account. I have taken my Cadillac to the dealership in Wilmington since the very beginning and I must say I am extremely disappointed. Upon my last visit to get my oil changed and have a regular check up I was told all was fine. My wife came home from work one day and one of our tires was losing air quickly. I thought I picked up a nail or something so I made it to NTB and low and behold all four tires were worn so bad on the inside they were getting ready to give out on usSo if I was at the dealership a few months earlier and they supposedly rotated my tires why was I not informed. Im thinking they never rotated the tires. Which makes me wonder what else they said they did but did not. Anyhow goodbye Deleware Cadillac in Wilmington I think I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I purchased a 2016 Chevy Malibu, Kevin Ellis was my sales consultant and Angie Maddox was the customer service rep that helped me they were both so nice and very helpful they made the process seamless from picking out the car online to test driving the car, John Danze was the sales manager and he was great he kept me informed with the process of my application, what he needed to potentially get approved while i worked. I came in to test drive and everything was pretty much done before i got there which was fantastic, so happy i didnt have to spend all day waiting for approval. Jennifer was so friendly and very clear and patient with me when going through the paperwork with me, the entire process was so stress free and easy. The staff here was just so amazing i would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone that lets me know they need a car and i will be back in the future for sure!

Serviced my Subaru here. I was happy to get a last minute appointment. The service was great and they washed my car. But it did take them about 50 minutes longer than the 1 hour they estimated for the oil change.
