Been here many times. they have a huge selection of craft beers from all over the state (and farther) they always have what Im in the mood for and they have a great seating area for large parties. Underrated but top of their class with a diverse selection. Must check out if you are a vacationer in the area, see what NC has to offer!!

Excellent selection of craft beer. Bottles, cans, bombers. Several rotating taps at a small bar area to enjoy while youre here or crack open the cans purchased in the fridges. Decent sized lounge area to enjoy drinks with friends. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff to talk about your selections or just to chat with. Highly recommended!

Amazing stop for craft beer fans! I stopped in, mentioned what I like and the gentleman pulled out beers and made recommendations on beers they had in stock. You can take beers to go or enjoy them here. Taps, cans and bottles... several fridges line a long wall and the other wall has shelves of beer on it. Great place, fantastic service, wish they were closer to me so I could be a regular!

Loved this place. Stopped by here after a day of day drinking Im Wilmington and boy were we glad. There was a great selection of draft beers and their bottle game was tight. I definitely will be stopping by here anytime Im in Port City. I think the owners name was Kyle and he was super cool and hospitable!!

My husband and I have been visiting Hey Beer for two years. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of bottles, cans, and taps that rotate frequently. The selection is very organized, so if youre in a hurry, its easy to find what you want and go. I encourage you to linger, though. This is a great place to have a couple of beers while chatting on a comfortable couch or playing a board game. Kid and dog friendly spot. Hey Beer is also our one and only stop when we have to stock up for a party, trip, or day at the beach.

Difficult situation with the COVID-19 restrictions, but the person we worked with was very knowledgeable and brought beers and was able to describe the beers and make suggestions based on our style/flavor preferences.

By far, best bottle shop in Wilmington. The others are good, but they are great. Always the latest beers, best prices and friendliest staff. If youre in Wilmington and you like beer, this is a must stop.

Best bottle shop in town. They expanded their space a year or so ago and now have room to hang out and socialize. If you need a beer suggestion, just ask! They are very helpful and will find something that fits your palate. Prices are more than reasonable. They carry bottles cold singles and have multiple traps to fill your growlers. Definitely worth dropping by and grabbing a cold one!

Best bottle shop in Wilmington

Theyve recently knocked out a wall and expanded into the space next door, which has turned Hey Beer into a great place to hang out. The toys in the toy box made me and my wife feel welcome with our son.I believe our bartender was the owner when we went a few weeks before Christmas. When I tried to tip him, he asked that I put the tip in the charity jar instead. Great people and a great selection!

Awesome place, cant wait for them to open up. My friend and I enjoyed movie night and beer pairings with Wake and Bake Doughnuts 😍

The dude behind the counter (forgot his name) was so stinking cool. He went out of his way to show me all kinds of different things and talked about the brands, the general flavors and made amazing reccomendations. He was very knowledgeable and approachable. It was exactly what I needed. Plus the place inside is adorable.

Hey Beer is the best bottle shop in town! They have so many options to choose from, all organized into separate refrigerators to make it easy to find what your type of beer you are looking for! Also, the owners Mike and Kristen are really knowledgeable on the beers they carry, and will point you in the right direction. Great customer service, and love that you can have a cold pint of beer while you browse their selection. Go there, you will not be disappointed!

One of the best places to find good beer, both on tap and grab and go. Very friendly staff/owners. Its spacious, bright, well decorated and they have an amazing selection of board games to play. I could spend all day here. Definitely check it out!

One of the best bottle shops in town. Great beer selection, very knowledgeable owner,and a very central location. They always have a great rotating draft list with at least one sour. Not much seating inside, but a very welcoming place.

I deliver beer to these folks and they are always very nice and treat me well. I know that might not seem like much but a lot of business owners treat delivery drivers like lower class people. The selection is as good as any Ive seen and I know they are very knowledgeable on the products they sell.

My favorite bottle shop in town. Pick your six pack is great for two people or more sharing with different preferences. Their selection is really, really good. They have the choice beers in all different kinds, styles etc... They always have a great tap list rotating at good prices. You can sit down and drink both drafts and bottles there at the shop. What a great cold selection of craft beers on the wall covered in coolers. The other side of the store is covered with six-pack of all varieties. A ton of local options on hand also plenty of the best names and styles from breweries around the country. Everything is clearly labeled and priced plus great discounts for make your own 6 and 8 packs. Cant wait to go back and try a growler of Sierra Nevada Hoptinite, one of four currently on tap.
