Whenever I go to Hair World, I never leave empty handed. I am able to bring my hair style visions to life due to the amazing inventory & availability of products. The staff there are very knowledgeable & estimates are in point in regards to how many packages of hair is needed for a hairstyle. I trust the opinion of their staff when I ask if certain colors would work for me & my skin tone.

I Use To Always Come To The Store With My Mom As A Teenager … Haven’t Been Here In A Few Years, Until Today … With My Baby Boy .. I Walked In, Wasn’t Greeted . That’s Fine .. Employees Were Busy .. Long Story Short I Was Told I Couldn’t Have My Stroller . I Asked Why Not ? The Owner Doesn’t Allow It .. I Said Okay . I Was Told I Could Park The Stroller If I Wanted To Shop .. I Walked Out & Was Told One Person Ruined It For Everyone ..In My Opinion This Is Sickening .. As An African American Female, I Would Never Work For Anyone Who Belittled My Own Race Or Any Other For That Matter .. I Wouldn’t Even Feel Comfortable In A Urban Neighborhood Making That A Restriction.. All Companies Take Losses .. Some More Than Others … Treat All Customers Fairly .. I Would Hate To See Someone Come In Using A Scooter Or A Wheel Chair .. DO NOT SHOP HERE❗️❗️

I used to like shopping at the one in Wilmington. Until the other day when my daughters and I tried to go in the lady at the register stopped us because my one daughter didn’t have a mask on (mind you Delaware lifted the mask mandate) So my daughter asked if they sold masks she was going to buy one. Lady said no. While my daughter goes to the car to get one. Lady says to my other daughter no Strollers allowed. Lol. So we either have to carry an infant around the store or don’t bring your baby to the store. The vibe walking in was awful. We were going to spend a lot of money In there, but decided not to because we did not feel welcomed so we went to the one in Newark. The Newark one is more friendlier. I hope the lady who works there reads this. She needs customer service skills. How do you plan on making money when you think everyone who walks through that door is steeling? It was like she was having a bad day and didn’t want to deal with customers. And I know they sell fashionable face masks. It was the worse experience there. Treat people how you want to be treated when you walk into a store or find another job that makes you happy.

I have been coming to hair store in the wilmington location for a few yes.The staff is wonderful and the cashier is very helpful with information from Wig, extensions, and hair products. I am also glad of the honesty of the workers. Meaning it’s not only about the sale. But what works for the customers needs. Again I recommend this store to many.My family and I are happy customers.R. My favorite and only hair spot I go to . They literally have every hair need. It’s a one stop shop. There accessories are gorgeous. The customer service is great. I get greeted each time I go in and helped on the best choices.they have the best prices and good sales.

I can always find what I need at this store and the prices are reasonable. They have a wide variety of products, hair styles and accessories. Miss Anita is always friendly, helpful and patient.

The people that work there are so nice and helpful. If I dont know what I am looking for exactly they always make sure to give me options.

They have a lot of hair products to choose from as well as wigs. peices, and accessories. The prices could be a little cheaper to be competitive, but they do have specials sometimes.

It may not look like much on the outside BUT looks are deceiving, GO INSIDE & see this diamond in the rough. I live in ChesCo PA & take monthly trips to this hair shop. Most of the staff is helpful & friendly. I really enjoy shopping when the older lady works. She is a delight because is patient & answers questions. The store selection is diverse. The prices are competitive. Im glad I found this place & now my daughter drives from PA too

They do not even deserve 1 star I had to give a star in order to leave a review. They deserve a negative -3. The hair is cheap the make up mediocre at best and they watch you like a hawk but never offer to help you with whatever you are looking. The lashes are flaky and stale. You can not get them out of the package without destroying the lash. When I attempted to exchange the unopened boxes with the receipt the cashier told me the owner will not accept the unopened lash package as an exchange because of sanitation purposes 😐...How stupid do you have to be in order to even come up with a rebuttal as ridiculous as that. Now I barely spend my money with those people but sometimes I get in a clutch. NEVER AGAIN! Sovereign Fundamentals LLC for all my hair and beauty supplies! Thank you for the reminder!

Im giving it a 1 star because customer service is everything to me and there employees are so rude. And dont ever by the last hair off the manicsn even if its the only one left s employee told me they spray their wigs with watered down conditioner to make it look fresh

Nice place to get your cosmetics and hair

The store was clean and lit well . The employees were really nice especially my cashier, but I think its a little over priced. The products are average quality but they charge top $. I still go there for certain items that I cant anywhere else.

The one on Marrows Rd needs to be closed for discrimination and I am surprised they havent been sued. If your skin is any shade of brown, employees watch you as you go up and down every aisle but they dont offer to help you. Every aisle I was in, there was somebody standing at the end of the aisle intentionally watching me. I am a professional at my job. I went there on my lunch hour so I was dressed for work. I never felt so uncomfortable in any BSS in my life. I will never go back there. I know it is common to be under surveillance in any store but they are over the top with it. Totally rude.

The one in bear delaware has way more nicer people. yes they are asian but are much nicer then the ghetto fabulous black woman in wilmington. i walked in there and immediately felt judged because of my skin tone.

I went to the Wilmington location, and didnt have a bad experience until i went the third time. The asian lady was extremely rude, and watched all of the african american/black customers like the were going to steal. I walked right out of store and would never purchase ANYTHING from them again. This location should be shut all the way down.

I get caught spending more money, they have everything you need for hair and makeup.

Cant stand this place, they follow you around like youre going to steal.
