Its fine, I just expected more omelette variety from the name. Very basic diner menu, salsa tasted like they mixed regular salsa with ketchup. I would have rather gone to a different local breakfast place to try something new.
Great food and good atmosphere. Was fairly busy but they kept the flow going quite well.Only thing that threw me off, was learning that it was a cash only establishment, when I got to the register to pay. There is an ATM near the restrooms but it being a machine that only does $20 increments could possibly be problem for some other unsuspecting people as well.
If you eat breakfast anywhere else in the Greater Wilmington area, YOU MADE A MISTAKE. Amazing service, great food and a very good price. It’s breakfast with a floor show if you sit at the counter. THIS is the place in Wilmington and we will be back. ONLY downside is the rich uppy class have found it and are starting to come

Although there is limited seating, turn-around is quick and well worth ANY wait. The staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. Bring cash as they dont accept credit/debit cards. This is a go-to place to eat.

This is a hidden gem. So glad we found it on our visit from Vermont. Definitely recommend the grilled biscuits! While there met locals that recommended other places. Everyone was so kind. Will stop again before going home and will yell people about this place!

Service was slow. Got a plain roll instead of biscuit they advertised. We were the only customers there. A bunch of 20 something year olds hanging around inside not ordering anything. One made a pass at my wife while I was waiting on on our order. This place needs to be shut down.This review was posted by mistake. Went inside for 5 minutes just to look for someone. From what I saw it was cozy looking place,older people inside. Very inviting. Next time Im down that way I will stop in and try you out.
A small local place to eat breakfast or lunch that used to be so typical across the country. Seemed popular with the locals. Good menu that was well prepared, and an excellent wait staff. Glad I tried it.
The food and service were absolutely amazing!! I got the 2 egg breakfast and my husband got the steak and cheese omelet. Both meals were incredible. We will be back when we return to Wilmington!

The omelets are a lazy attempt. its a few eggs with stuff just thrown on. and nothing is less appealing than dirty silverware.
You cannot go wrong with this place -yes, it is small and yes, you may have to wait but it is worth every dime. My wife said it was the best pancakes she has ever had,,my omelet was perfect. Get the grilled biscuits if you are there on Sat or Sun...what a gem. Cash only which I also love.

Neither staff or patrons wore masks and it was a concern. However, the Omlett I ordered was AMAZING! Peppers, onions, tomatoes with American cheese and Turkey sausages. The best omelet I ever had. They would have gotten 5 stars if it wasnt for the no mask situation...

Love this little restaurant that advertises to have been making good food since 1977. I had to wait a few minutes on a Saturday morning to get a spot at the bar. Theres not a lot of seating. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with bacon added. Not sure what they put in it but the eggs are extremely fluffy. Theres plenty of meet and cheese. They offer chunky potatoes or shredded hash browns or even french fries. I had the shredded hash browns from the grill. Nothing special about them but they were good. They only take cash but they do have an ATM inside the bathroom area. Service was good.
We love this spot, every single time we visit Wilmington and we want to eat breakfast this is the spot we hit, diner style setting with great food and awesome atmosphere. The icing on the cake is the place has a small Naval history the actual owner was a Sailor and served our country then decided to open this place up and we are glad he did
If anyone is familiar with waffle house this is has the same set up. The service was good but I was just not looking for a waffle house experience today.

My husband picked up a couple breakfast burritos this afternoon and they were INCREDIBLE. The tortillas were soft and delicious! Believe me when I say, you can definitely mess up a plain ol egg, cheese and potato burrito.. (go to Galveston tx you’ll see ;) yet GGO was outstanding. they forgot the bacon in my husbands burrito, and their salsa was interesting to say the least. It’s like some sort of marinara/sweet relish tasting concoction(SUS).. so make sure you have hot sauce on deck. I still give them 5* and will definitely return!! We enjoyed our burritos they were amazing! My husband also mentioned to me how great the atmosphere there was. He said all the employees and customers knew each other which is always the BEST sign to me. Regulars mean you’re doing something right! Thanks GGO!
Recently went for the first time, they whip the eggs for the omelettes in a blender, and it makes them super fluffy. It was a little different, but I liked it. The atmosphere, service, quality of food, etc was fantastic!
Worse breakfast ever! Restaurant was extremely busy so we thought that was a good sign about the food. When we got a booth we noticed most of the people leaving were leaving more than half of their food on their plates. We ended up doing the same - WAY under-cooked on everything! Watery runny eggs, cold toast, hardly grilled hash browns and raw, lumpy waffles and pancakes. They served our food literally in like 4 minutes, would much rather have waited and had it be cooked and edible. Nothing positive at all to say about this experience.

This was my first time...It was amazing..Everyone was nice. The food was perfect. Its very clean.
Omelets not as good as advertised. Not a bad restaurant just dont go here expecting anything more than average. Ive had better from chain restaurants. Bacon was so burnt it tasted like grill char.(tho they did forget it and attempted to rush cooking it). CREDIT AND DEBIT NOT ACCEPTED!! THERE IS NO SIGN ON THE OUTSIDE OF RESTAURANT.They seemed to pick up a bit during our meal one of the waitress made is feel a bit rushed.

It’s 10:50am 4/25/2021 my family showed up at 10:25 we were told 10-15 mins we were just seated at 10:45 at 10:39 a family walked out and they didn’t call us or even look and we made our presence know 2x even though we were 20 ft away from the door tending to our 15 month old son and a family walked in and took our table we walked in 2 mins later and then had to wait for another table to open up no apology or anything the family whose table we were taking apologies to us and thought it was messed up they gave it away. The only reason why we’re here is our toddler is hungry and goldfish isn’t enough and the coffee is Abysmal

Was my Dads favorite breakfast place. Family gathered there on the anniversary of his passing for breakfast in his honor. Unfortunately we could not sit together in back to back booths because of Covid-19 restrictions. Try the Western omelet...you wont leave hungry!
Had my food recorded 3 times before they got my eggs right. It was just fried egg whites. Bacon and grits were cold after that.

Do not judge a book by its cover. They have THE BEST coffee Ive ever tasted in a breakfast restaurant. Smooth, without one hint of bitterness. Tasty breakfast and a delightful, attentive waitress. Weve lived in Wilmington 10 years and this is the 1st time weve been to Goody Goody, but it certainly wont be the last.

The secret is their homemade pancake batter - watch them spoon a ladle of it into the fluffiest omelette youve ever sank your teeth into. And dont forget to ask for your biscuits to be grilled.

Have lived less than 2 minutes from this place and never gave it a chance, and that is one of the things I now regret most in life. The food was exceptional! The omelet was the fluffiest Ive ever had! The server was friendly and attentive recommended the grilled biscuit and he did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend and will return!
