Bought a bond arms derringer for a fair price, especially considering the gun market right now. Seemed to have whatever ammo you need in stock for good prices. Looked into selling a gun to them or through their consignment, and they were very honest and fair with their dealings. Won’t go anywhere else from now on.

I have bought both firearms and ammunition from this store. These folks run a top-notch store - they are very experienced & knowledgeable. With the scarcity of ammo right now --- this store is doing their absolute best to keep prices at a minimum along with just keeping some in stock. (It all depends on what they are having to actually pay for it.) Always the best quality items to shop for here. This is an awesome store and it is ran by great folks !

Southern Heritage Arms on Carolina beach road is just as bad as Jim’s pawn in Wilmington. 70.00 for a box 5.7x28 is absolutely crazy and greedy. They just lost all mine, my wife’s, my dads and my uncles business. I just bought two boxes of 5.7 by 28 for 35.00 a box at sportsman wharehouse and Amchar. We need to spread the word and people need to stop paying these prices to these greedy individual businesses and make a point to these businesses that we are not going to pay these rediculous prices.

Had a great experience at Heritage Guns. As a first time gun buyer, I had done my research but needed a lot of guidance in purchasing my first firearm. The owner and staff could not have been more friendly and informative. They took a lot of time to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. The prices were great on all their inventory and the selection was huge. If youre looking for a knowledgeable/friendly staff, low prices, and great selection of inventory to choose from, look no further.

Heritage Guns in Wilmington is my “go to” place for ammunition. With the shortage and high demand caused by covid and government lockdowns, they remain the only place in town that I have found that hasn’t tried to gouge prices. Their products remain more than fairly priced, and they are always happy to converse with new and repeat customers.

This is an excellent gun store with a wide selection of new and used handguns and rifles at reasonable prices. I bought a gun on the Internet and had it transferred there and the process was as easy as could be. Both Marty and Keith were knowledgeable and helpful . The only sales pressure though came from their Chocolate Lab who would not let you leave the store without playing fetch with him. I think Ive found a new place to shop for my firearm needs.

Great people to do business with. I spotted a used firearm that they were selling on a third party online sight and contacted them. I purchased it sight unseen based on a couple photos and their very accurate and honest description of the gun. I was very pleased witt what I received. They shipped promptly and it was an excellent experience all around.

Nice little shop and great service. Keith is super. But prices are top of tier. Just like all the big box + - be different and offer great service and super prices. Its like 2 gas stations side by side and both sell for $2.50 a gallon, who you going to go too? The one that is newer, bigger, and more to offer inside.

Limited only by the physical space of their store, they consistently have been open to orders, negotiations, and stock new inventory. Regarding their CCW class: Ive got nothing but respect and praise for the fine gents at Heritage. The instruction was thorough and comprehensive, and efficiently presented in an interesting manner. Found this place by accident. They sell a lot of WW1, and WW2 weapons, some Korean, and Vietnam era items.I almost always come out with a Japanese bayonet, or a Scandinavian bayonet. If you love history this is the place to go.

I took the concealed carry course on a Sunday with Marty and Keith and found it to be a great learning experience. Both know their information about a wide variety of topics and are incredibly helpful. Any questions you might have are covered in depth during the course in an incredibly positive environment. Whether you are taking the course or shopping for something particular, both are extremely capable of using their knowledge to benefit their customers. Used to be good place for ammo but they have jacked up the prices so high it averages 5-15 dollars a box over other places in town.

I took concealed Carry class there, teacher Keith is very knowledgeable and patient, also very friendly, willing to help at any time. The class is very useful and enjoyable. Wide selection of the products and you could get good education of guns and ammo if you are beginner. I highly recommend this store to everyone!

I have purchased a heritage 22 its the worst handgun iv ever had been used 2 times,1st time it wouldnt fire,2nd time bullets in barrel and is jammed...sum great gun...

I was expecting a dry dissertation on law but what I experienced was an interesting and engaging information session professionally presented in an open inviting atmosphere of learning. Theyve done FFL transfers for me, repaired an AR, Ive bought a rifle from them and did the concealed carry class through there and every experience was very pleasant!Gun selection in the shop is great as well with a good selection of mil surp rifles.

I have been there twice, both times the workers and owner, didnt seem very helpful and borderline rude. They have an extremely limited selection and prices were high. Seems like the perfect recipe for a going out of business sale in a month.

My favorite gun shop in town. Eclectic selection of all sorts of handguns, rifles, shotguns, and revolvers. Prices are very reasonable on both new and used firearms, and if they don’t have something you’re looking for, they can usually order it. I also took the concealed carry class here back in December ‘17, great class, very down to earth, realistic instruction with a strong focus on carry law and justified self defense.The owners, Keith and Marty, are very friendly and helpful, I often stop in just to chat and see what new items they have in. They’re very helpful to new, inexperienced gun owners and shoppers, and don’t have the snobby attitude of many of the “tacticool” employees at other shops. Also, their FFL transfer fee is one of the cheapest in town, I’ve had half a dozen firearms transferred through them, very simple process. Great shop, strongly recommend to anyone.

I had been to several pawn shops and gun stores. Keith was the first person to welcome me in and offered any help I might need. After talking to him about firearms, I settled on the Ruger LCP in 380. I asked if I could use them as the FFL for an online purchase, Keith said absolutely, and his transfer fee is the cheapest around.He never tried to pressure or sway me to make the purchase from his on hand stock. Always friendly, always accomodating, always patient, willing to answer any and all questions, never pushy, their prices for some weapons and ammo and other supplies rival or are better than walmart or online, Ive shopped and compared. Im very big on respect, and Im not the type to just give to people, but theyve earned mine, as well as my business, so Heritage Guns will be my only go to store!
