I waited several months for install....guy had horrible customer service skills...said the manufacturer sent incorrect size for 1 of the 10 sets we purchased. Its been 2 months and still waiting for the replacement. Also 1 blind worked incorrectly he said to give it a few days to warm up its been weeks and it still isnt working properly and the valance fell off the same day he installed it...can someone please assist. We spent so much to receive such bad service!!

The service for choosing and purchasing the product. The salesperson was excellent.We however did not ask about when to expect the installation, which we should of. It took a very long time and we werent very happy. We also had to make a payment before the installation could happen. Fast forward to two months later and the installation day happened. But without a few hiccups. 1. Some of the trim is off and now were stuck with it. The factory trimmed the trim too short and the installer couldnt do anything about it. 2. The shutters are not snug with the trim. This meaning if you rub your finger from trim to shutter youll feel a bump, not a smooth surface. 3. Kind of a small issue, but after spending a ton of $$$ I feel it needs to be added, we/the installer didnt receive enough adhesive stickers from the factory. This is needed for cosmetics only. But adds a nice touch.Very unhappy with everything after the sales service. If you go with blinds to go, ensure a solid date or round about date before you make any payments. Also, ensure the product is perfect with the installer before its installed and all pieces are put together.

Information I received from the sales staff differed from what I was told by the gentleman who came out to measure my windows. I’m still not sure what the correct answer is. While the installers were efficient and friendly, they made 0 effort to clean up after themselves - dust, saw dust and bits of old blinds are everywhere they were.

Is this a valid company?from the corporate office to the local office your service is utterly disgusting. I purchased blinds in March. One window blind was not available but would be ready in AprilThe blinds I did receive was missing some hardware. One was completely defective. I was assured it would be replaced. May I was still being given excuses. Corporate was no help only promises. June 👎 progress. End of July I was told I would not get the replacement parts until I paid for the blind that they finally sent out inAugust.I had already replaced this blind. Your company is the most disgusting I have ever dealt with.

I was so pleased and impressed with Lauren, the manager of store #254, at Blinds to Go. She was extremely knowledgeable about the drapes I was interested in and explained all my options. Lauren was also courteous. and helpful in every aspect of my purchase. She sent Adrian out to measure, and he was also helpful and discussed different options about hanging the drapes. My drapes came in quickly, were packed and labeled and ready for me to pick-up at the store. Highly recommend Lauren and her particular store.

I am disappointed in blinds to go. I specifically requested the verticle s-curve slats. He insisted that his entry was as requested. It was not. This caused an additional 10 delay. When I placed my order, I did my own measuring following their instructional hand out to the last detail. Sales agent added 2 to some measurements thinking it was required. Wrong. My sheer serenity blinds take 7 weeks LONGER that the standard blinds. To have two install visits, instead of one, so that some of my windows would afford privacy, I had to pay extra. This communication and fees have created confusion between the blinds people and the subcontract installer on expected payments per visit. This blinds to go store on route 2 near Wilmington is in need of better training and better communication. Installer should be an employee not subcontract. Wait times for installs are a week or longer after items have arrived.

Beware!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went into the Wilmington Delaware BTG because I wanted to get blinds for my new home. I just moved to DE. I went inside and wasn’t acknowledged at all. I walked around and looked around and the white woman with short brown hair was chatting it up on her phone the whole time. She never acknowledged me, never greeted me or anything. I decided to leave because I do not want to spend my money on a company who hires unprofessional people. Do I look like I’m not going to buy anything? Is this how this company trains people? If they don’t look rich then don’t acknowledge them? The manager at this store needs to do better or whoever is in charge. I will never come back to this location.

Was given one price in store placed a down payment on a style we liked.After I went back to have someone come out and measure 29 windows in my home because I felt like they should since I was going to let them do the entire house since I had a great experience in the store. Well fast forward to a set of the blinds coming in and now the price changes because we requested a tech come and measure the windows and now the price went up, not sure what that was about but we wont be using them for the other 28 windows dont like deceitfulness and the fact I had the original receipt and they didnt want to honor the price was not cool.

Terrible experience!!!First, our blinds took weeks. When we called, we were told that the installer picked up the box, but there was nothing it. Our blinds must have been stolen from their warehouse.Second, a week or so later, the installer shows up, installs the blinds (which were supposed to be blackout shades) but they they were 2 inches too narrow! The width was supposed to be 34 1/8 (which was on the order form), but they showed up to be 32 ¾”.We paid over a $1,000 for two custom blinds that clearly were NOT custom.I called the store in Wilmington, DE and they said there was NOTHING they could do.Horrible customer service! Horrible!

Blinds originally installed on 1/15 but incorrect blinds were installed. Installer took blinds down on 1/29 to be returned because the pull was on the wrong side. Blinds to Go Company was to correct the issue. Installer came on 2/26 to install the new blinds but after opening the box noticed the change was never made. Blinds had to be returned a second time. Six weeks from original install day and still no blinds. Very disappointed with my first Blinds To Go experience.Update 4/14/21: I was informed production on blinds would be completed on 4/1/21 and installation was scheduled for 4/12/21. Installer shows up with 1 of the 2 blinds ordered and paid for over 4 months ago Installer asks 8f anyone informed me that only 1 set was available for installation. Ummm. NO. Disappointed that BlindsToGo hasnt grasped the concept of customer service yet No call or explanation received prior to 4/12 that only one item would be installed. I am now 3 months from initial install date and only 1 of 2 blinds ordered has been installed.

Beware! in-store customer service in Wilmington, DE, Kirkwood Highway was horrible. I was told in October that my blinds would be delivered by mid-November. No one called or told me, until I called them that my order was delayed until mid-January. I got a call in mid-January to informme the blindshadarrived. I immediately paid my balance and scheduled installation for the next day. It ended up being a no call, no show. After trying to reach the store for 3 hours that day without anyone answering, I gave up. I made numerous calls over the next few days to the 800 customer service number and again to the store. Ultimately, I had to inform them that I was going to involve my attorney and request for a full refund if the service did not get any better. Since I was getting nowhere, I looked through my October call history to reach the wonderful gentleman who had initially came to my home to do measurements. He was awesome and 100% customer-service oriented. Within 3 days, he was at my home, upon my specific request for him to be the installer. If it had not been for Gabriel, I really dont think I would have blinds now. Although I love my blinds, I will have to think long and hard about doing further business with Blinds to Go in Wilmington, DE. In fact, Im still waiting on a return call from the store. Their phone message states they will return calls within 24 hours. Its been 2 days and I still havent heard back! Thank you for the opportunity to review Blinds to Go.

I have been trying to call this store repeatedly! I am having issues with my blinds and the sizing. This store never answers their phone and I am so fed up. You would think during these times with COVID that phone calls would be a priority so I don’t have to risk myself or others to get sick! HORRIBLE! The manager Lauren Broadstreet didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in. She was on her phone texting for a good 10 minutes before she offered to help. If I’m coming into this store to spend thousands of dollars I would like to be acknowledge as soon as I walk into the store. Please train your this woman who’s supposed to be the manager or whatever to be professional... there weren’t any other workers when my grandmother and I came into the store as well.

We went to Kirkwood Highway store in Wilmington, DE to look for blinds for master bedroom windows on December1st, 2020. We met Lauren Broadstreet (very nice lady), Interim Manager. She showed us options for blinds and asked us to take rough measurements when we go home and let us know. We returned to the store with and ordered the blinds and put a 50% deposit. The installer (Gabriel) came to our house and took measurements. He recommended that we should change the type of blinds since the one we picked earlier will not work for Bay window. He even made second visit to verify measurements. So we went back to the store and picked up different kind of blinds for our bedroom. After talking to Gabriel, Lauren offered us other options. Based on that we ordered different type of blinds. The price was adjusted. Finally the blinds came to the store more than 2 months later. Gabriel came to our house on 16th February and installed the blinds. Installation of blinds for 2 straight windows is satisfactory whereas the Bay Window installation is not satisfactory and looks ugly. There are 3 blinds on Bay window. There are gaps between the blinds and one could see inside from outside when blinds are closed. We are very unhappy with the installation. Gabriel was in denial and very defensive and said that it was supposed to be like that because of Bay window. He even tried to put the blame on Blinds To Go. We went to the store and talked to Lauren about the messed up installation. She was very professional and understood our problem. She said that she will first talk to Gabriel and send a different installer to look at the problem. I must say Lauren was very helpful. We are now waiting for new installers visit to fix the problem.

Ordered blinds January 20th 2021 was told it would be 3 or 4 weeks to install. On March 10th I called the store to get the status of the order as we had not heard from anyone at that point, spoke with a young lady she informed me the blinds had been in for a few weeks no one ever called us.She set up an install date for March 20th I paid my balance in FULL or they would not give us an appointment to install. On March 20th, Matt the installer arrived with 4 Blinds out of 11,I made 55 calls that day to this store no one answered I finally left a message for a call back. On March 21st Lauren called to say the blinds were in Virginia and didnt know why. She informed me that I would hear from her in a week, well its Saturday March 27th still NO blinds NO phone call I have since called my credit card company to dispute the charge. Never again will we use or recommend Blinds To Go

Very frustrated & angry. Went into store a month ago to order motorized blinds. I let our salesperson know we needed the blinds installed before Easter. She assured us that it would be 2 days to have them measured & 2 days to have them installed. She told us definitely no problem to have them in before Easter. I unfortunately had 2 poor experiences...both times I had to take off work multiple times from work for installation due to issues. The first time one blind had been cut to the incorrect size (I paid to have them come out and do measurements and installation) and the second time all of the blinds were completely different than what I ordered. The person at the store indicated they would call me after the 1st installation problem was fixed to offer some type of compensation and never heard from her. I went back a 2nd time as I wanted blinds to match and again was told I would receive a call back the following day once they spoke with the manager in regards to giving me a discount. Again, never heard from them. When I called she would not even commit to sending me an email that day outlining how much they owed me for price difference from original incorrectShades ordered by them. Got customer service number and they were great and said store would call me regarding refund...2 days later still had not heard from them. One of the poorest experiences I’ve ever had!

My wife and I recently went into the store on Kirkwood Highway and was very displeased with the service we received. We walked into the store and was greeted by no one. We walked to the back of the store and saw an employee in dreadlocks that was having a heated vulgar conversation on her cell phone. She turned her back to us and yelled for someone to come help us. The employees were very hard to understand and got rude with us very quickly. This is not the same place that we have shopped at before and we wont be coming back.

We purchased 11 window treatments from Blinds to Go. The recommended installer arrived today. It turned out that 6 of the window treatments were incorrectly made and had to be returned. Were now waiting for the manufacturer to fix the problems and remake the shades, at which point we will need to schedule another installation. I really wish they had no star rating because that’s what I’d give them. So sad that one employee couldn’t do 2nd grade math and I have to pay for her error. I was also told the blinds would be installed NOT true! I have standard windows yet can’t get a refund because they claim they were custom made. They were at the store less than 48 hours after the order which was shipping time so I know they weren’t custom made. They still have my blinds and I’m waiting for the installer to pick them up and install them, I called him weeks ago and haven’t heard back. Wish me luck because I’ll need it dealing with this company!

Blinds were back ordered a month.Found out from friends (months later) that we got ripped off (even with the sales).Slider verticals were missing 3 slats .they called us to pick up the 3 slats and got home, only 2 were in the box. Told theyd mail us the missing one directly. Never received it .I wish I had a time machine so I could undo the major mistake.I feel like a huge loser in this.
