Good selections but, not much help to order something not stocked.

If I could rate this place no stars, I absolutely would. Only reason I come here is because they are directly around the corner from me. Every time I come to purchase something, the female store owner stares me up and down (gathering details about my profile). No pleasant greeting or gestures like she provides to the other customers. When I am ready to check out, she never stops her gaze upon me and does not engage in any formal conversation. Treat your customers all the same, or don’t operate in a diverse community.

Closed 20mins before closing time that they have listed. If your going to close early than change your open hours, dont have false hours listed so potential customers waste time driving to your it location only to have a wasted their gas and time.

Great selection and the lady at the counter was super nice and polite. She was so welcoming once I entered the store and recommended me a very good drink. I dont live near to this liquor store but I heard good reviews and it lives up to it the hype.

I had a great experience at Valley Liquors. It has an excellent selection of beer and wine. The woman at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend.

IF YOU WANT HIGH PRICES AND LOW SERVICE, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!I normally dont write business reviews unless the experience was remarkably good or remarkably bad. This place deserves the latter.Being this the first time I ever set foot in this place, I really didnt know what to expect. I came without any kind of prejudice or mindset. I just wanted to explore the store.The fact I wasnt greeted didnt make a difference to me. Walking in the store was this middle aged Hindi lady who noticed me and I assumed her to be the co-owner. I just went about my business, which was exploring the store, find what kind of wines and scotch they had and perhaps making a purchase. At the same time, I was texting over with a friend and then I decided to take a picture to ask my friend her opinion opinion about a scotch. Better not!. The Hindi lady jumped as stung by a wasp and asked me in a rude way Why are you taking a picture?. Even though that was none of her business, I tried to be polite and gave her the same explanation I just wrote and then asked if there was a problem with me by doing that. She had to say no, but from that moment on, I felt observed like I was going to do something bad. There was more to the story, but is not worth telling it. I didnt buy anything knowing that driving one mile to the south is the TOTAL WINE store, which had wonderful and knowledgeable people and lower prices. i.e. Buchannans 12 years 750 ml bottle in this place was 41.99 and in Total Wine was 33.49. Cointreau Liquor 39.99 vs 34.99 and so on.to end, I want to advise you to spend your money somewhere else, where you will get better prices and much better attention than in this sorry hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Seems like many other people had bad experiences here. Dont be the next one!

Very nice selection and decent prices. They were open late even during this crisis which was nice since a visiting friend wanted some hard seltzer. Friendly lady at register. Nice local store.

Worst customer service & owners are rude! The only reason I even bother giving them my money is because they’re close to my house. Recently just moved in the area but I won’t be returning. Owner followed my husband around to “watch” him & making him feel uncomfortable like he was gonna rob the place. Went to go grab another wine bottle that was placed in front of the store and employee ran to the door acting as if I was about to run out of the store without paying. Rather drive 10 mins down the street to total wine than ever come here again.

This is a nice store, and has a nice selection. Their prices are comparative to others. The only negative thing is that there are certain employees who can be rude or seem impatient.

This is the rudest owner Ive ever encountered in my life. This liquor store also has the most expensive prices of all stores in Pike Creek. Last night, I purchased a bottle of Blue Label for $225 cash from this business. I then drove less than a mile away to Total Wine, which had it for $189. I immediately went back to the business and asked for a refund and the employee told me to call the owner the next day and he will give me a refund. I called the owner and he did not even listen to me. He talked over me the entire time and hung up on me. He told me that I should have looked at other prices before I purchased the bottle. He told me that he has a sign on the window that says no refunds. He told me that it is against the law in Delaware to return liquor. I am irate that I have given this store business for many years. I asked him for a refund or for the price difference or I told him that I will write bad reviews. He replied, I dont care what you do. Im not giving you back any money.I beg any locals, do not support this man nor his family. He does not care about fair business practices or prices. How greedy and power hungry must a business owner be to scam people out of $35.For $35 he could have had a happy customer, he could have been fair. Its a shame because I will never support his business nor others. I will always go with American businesses or franchises. I will not support small moms and pops shops that have no accountability and operate with no parameters.

Only go there out of absolute necessity as that can be the only explanation why theyre still in business. Over priced, limited selection considering the square footage and as a bonus the rudest people youll even meet. Take your business somewhere its appreciated!

The Indian owners and employees are terrible at customer service skills. I only go there because its close to my house. I wish a true American citizen owned it.

Came in purchased vodka, got to my car and realized i grabbed the wrong flavor went back in not even a few minutes after leaving JUST wanting to exchange it had my receipt and the bottle and wouldnt let me! Was rude and cussed at me, would never recommend this place to family nor friends i tried to call and theyre phones are shut off!

I have a mixed review for this place because it was the first place to sell me alcohol before I was even 18 but some of the employees do stare like every customer is about to rob them at once.

Omg! I cant even.... the woman who rang me up took her time, finishing her conversation with the other guy working there before she even began to scan my items. Did not greet me. Actually didnt say one word to me throughout the entire transaction. Didnt give me eye contact once. Im disgusted. Will never come to Valley Liquors again
