TYM buyer since 2011. Decent machine, but after sale service?? Are you kidding me? Closest dealer is well over 3 hours round trip. this is IF.... they they call you back after multiple emails and voicemails. Need parts? Buy a Deere to bury your unusable TYM in a big hole in the north 40! TERRIBLE company and the dealer support is a JOKE on its best day!.

Place is a joke. Been waiting months to get a part for my tractor and still not here. No one calls you back with information. Better buying a tractor somewhere else where you can actually get a part for your tractor and someone will call you back. Never again

I bought a TYM T194 lawn tractor and have had nothing but trouble with the belly mower deck, its come apart on me several times and it only has 120 hours on it, service and parts take a long time also.

I was going to buy a used TYM that needed dust covers for the tie rods so I ordered these through the closest dealer. The first part that the dealer ordered was not the part I wanted. I sent a picture and they ordered the right parts but only for one side of the tractor. I called again and they ordered the second set. One of the parts in these orders had to be shipped from Korea causing a 2-3 week delay each time. Each order cost over $20 in shipping (more than the price of the parts). When I declined to pay the shipping on the third order (because they should have ordered two sets to begin with) the dealer angerly told me never to order parts from them again and hung up on me. Getting parts were such a hassle I decided not to buy the tractor. So then I tried to return the parts to TYM USA. They told me I had to work with the dealer to get a refund. That isn’t going to happen. All this is to say, TYM might be a fine tractor but you might want to stick to an established brand with a solid network of dealerships and readily obtainable parts.

Save your money, getting parts from Korea is mission impossible. I purchased one of these reasonably price tractors for work on my property. I owned it for one month when it started shutting off. It then threw up some plastic pieces. The dealer picked it up and it took 2 months to repair because of delays in parts delivery. I don’t recommend this tractor. I would save up to get an auto-connect mower because this one takes many steps to attach the mower.

If I could give negative points I would. Very disappointed with our experience. We have been waiting for a part since the end of October 2019 for our tractor which has been sitting at Ocala Tractor since the end of October 2019. Here we are January 2020 and we still dont have a tractor. We keep getting told they (the dealer) cant get the part they need. Now I read here that your parts supply network is down???? How can such a large corporation have this type problem and it still isnt fixed? Sincerely a frustrated owner. 01112020 UPDATE...They say they are working on it. We shall see if the stars go up or not....

I purchased a t554 HST from my local dealer in January. Currently at 39 hours, the tractor has been in to the dealer 4 times for repairs at this point. I have reached out to tym on numerous occasions to try and get a replacement for the lemon I purchased. Finally got a hold of a gentleman named Andrew(maybe Andy) who is in charge of warranty repair for the US. I was promised a call back in a day or two, that was three weeks ago. Ive made several attempts to get ahold of him since, left voicemails, sent email, and he wont respond.

12-10-19 Update. Shortly after I wrote my review, TYM contacted me and immediately sent the parts. Changing rating form 2 to 4. I do like my tractor a lot. Old review: I have generally been very happy with my 394 TYM tractor but my loader has broken twice in two years and it is only now three years old. First time was a cylinder seal. TYM does not sell cylinder parts, only whole cylinders. All I needed was a seal, so my dealer had to find a hydraulic shop that could replace a seal without part numbers. Now, one of my loader control cables is bad but TYMs parts ordering system has now been down for over a week so no dealers can get any parts. What kind of a business lets their whole parts network go down for over a week? I am very disappointed because I live in NC not far from TYMs USA distribution center. One of the reasons I have bought two TYM tractors is I thought I would be able to get parts next day. This review is written on October 28, 2019. TYM parts system has been down since on or before October 21, 2019.

I love my new tractor, but just called asking about an indicator light that came on, what it is, and what to do to clear it out because there is nothing online or nothing in the owners manual about it. Reaching TYM is a joke and finally when I got to service, the person was so rude and just told me to call a dealer and admitted he didnt know what he was talking about. Im not impressed with their post sales support.

Sales side was great but my Dixie chopper has been to the shop more then my 98 John Deere I have had it a year and been to the shop 10 to 12 sometimes things with warranty but some not because of poor design. The seivce department work on there time not yours most of the time.some of the staff do know what there talking about but words you dont want to hear is I think it will work, it should be OK. When they are working on your mower you got from them. A mower with 200 hrs shouldnt have this much problem buy a John Deere or something you know how to work on if it ever does break so you dont have to take it there. Its just about the money it looks like . I also showed this so my sales person before I posted so they had a chance to make it right. I dont do review much but it cant get Worse and the owner pulled me to the side and was very rude and told me not to come back. Mike and Josh in service Sept was great even at end.

Awesome tractor . I think negative reviews are due to first time owners . you must go through your dealers for service and parts. I have owned many of the Big Brands. They all operate the same as far as business And you have to always order most parts except service pars such as filters belts etc.

Recently purchased a RK37 from Rural King and was told it is a tractor made by TYM and assembled by RK. I was timid at buying something off brand but went ahead with it because of the value. I love the tractor and it has been working well for me until I dropped a round bale on the hood. I contacted my local dealers (both Rural King and other local TYM dealers) to get the parts I needed to fix the tractor (pressure switch and radiator) and have been told it will take 2 weeks or longer to get the parts. The whole parts process is a train wreck from the customer side but I believe its also bad for the dealers involved. They are being told items arent in stock or are special order items when to me they seem like typical parts you would have on a shelf somewhere in the US. With as much as I depend on my tractor around the farm I should have bought something that had a better support system behind it.
