These guys are amazing!!! The equipment was in good shape and well maintained. Fairly priced and almost anything you could possibly need. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be using Best for any of our future needs for sure.

What do you need? Tractor, Skid steer, concrete mixer, lift... I mean, what dont they have. Good service, reasonable prices and you can even arrange for them to deliver and pick up larger equipment like excavators and such.

The company rents out defective equipment and does not feel responsible. If you are renting equipment, why wouldn’t you inspect it before renting. It’s shameful and unreliable. Slack customer service.

I was satisfied with how easy the process is to reserve, pick up, and drop off the rentals- however, I was not satisfied with the customer service I received when I expressed an issue of mine with one of the items I had ordered or when I went to return the rentals. The assistant manager was rude when addressing my concern and did not show any empathy towards my issue, which is necessary when you are a manager in the customer service industry (which I am). Upon drop off of the rental, the lady who processed the refund of my deposit made one statement to me which was your refund was put back to your card, please sign here for me. No greeting, no interaction whatsoever. So although the process and pricing is great, I will not be returning due to the lack of good customer service.

Dont have anything bad to say about best rentals. They are in business to treat you right. Ive been using their service for over 30 years and not one problem getting what I need. Never been turned down because of bad credit, slow credit or no credit. Know what you are looking for? Give best rentals a call, someone friendly will answer the phone.

I called about renting a stump grinder. Guy on phone said we got it and you’ll return it on Tuesday because we are closed on New Years day. He said nothing about it being a 2 day rental on the phone. He even made it sound like is was getting a deal because I get to keep it until Tuesday morning. When I get there he tells me it’s going to be a 2 day rental, because they’re closed Monday. Why didn’t you tell me this on the phone before I wasted time driving to your location. I feel he intentionally did this hoping I would just say ok and pay the 2 days. What an ass hole. Now I remember why I use Advantage and United Rentals. Much better price and no BS.

I found this place online while looking for inflatable rentals for my sons birthday party. I called on Friday after 5 pm and they were closed, so I left a message. Their website said Saturday hours were from 9am-3pm so I expected to be called by shortly after 9 am. When my call had not been returned, I called back and no one answered, so I left a message again. This went on about 3 times in 2 hours. I finally decided that I would ride up to the store, when I got there the door said hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Sat 9am-3pm. Yet the doors were locked and the lights were off. Needless to say this company did NOT get my business. I went across town to ADVANTAGE RENTAL. SUPER NICE PEOPLE and they were OPEN during business hours. Fancy that....

Had a terrible experience at the Rocky Mount location. Apparently Debbie Gibson thinks because shes the owner she can treat people any way she wants. I called to get 2 bounce houses, a snow cone machine, a cotton candy machine, cotton candy bags and cones, cotton candy floss, 2 kids tables, and 13 kids chairs. She told me on the phone that all the items were available except one of the bounce houses, and she suggested another one, so I added that to my order. She then took my credit card info and charged me for all the items (over $300 worth). About 20 minutes later I received an invoice or receipt of my payment. Then about 10 minutes after that I get a call from Debbie telling me that the cotton candy machine I purchased is not in the store. I asked her where it was and she tells me its at the Wilson location and that we can pick it up there. So I said okay. However when we arrived at the Rocky Mount location I asked her if we could get the cotton candy floss for free since we had to go all the way to Wilson to pick up the machine. Well I didnt even finish my sentence before she cuts me off saying no, no, no, Im not going to do that which I thought was very rude, so I got upset. I explained to her that she told me over the phone that everything was there and that she charged my card for it, only to call me back just to tell me that its not there and we have to go to the other location to pick it up. But she still said no, the floss was only $21 by the way so it wasnt like I was asking for a lot. So I said okay thats fine but can you hurry up and finish so we can make it to the other location before it closed, she said nothing. So now Im pissed my husband and I are having a conversation about how bad the service is and she interrupts to give her input, which o thought was again out of line and completely unprofessional. So I pretty much told her to mind her business. So after the paper work was done she decided she wanted to go over every single line in detail, I told her once again to hurry up so we could get to the other location on time, and that we didnt need to go over all that. She tells me well Im going to go over it with you, I told her that the other associate did not do that with the last lady so she didnt need to do it with me,.basically she was just wasting time. Then she tells me Im going to refund your whole purchase cause I own this place and Im not selling you anything. I told her we just drove an hour for this stuff and I dont want a refund I want what I came for, to which she responds so sue me. After that I walked out the store and called the Wilson location where I had a great experience by the way, and asked if we could come there. They said yes. My husband then walks out and tells me Debbie Gibson told him we wont receive our refund for about 3 days. REALLY, so now you have my money tied up in your system for three days after I just drove and hour to get to you. Sorry I had to put this under the Wilson locations Google but I couldnt post it under Rocky Mount. I will never do business with this company again.
