Their bakery staff is the best!! I put in a cake order for a birthday cake and I called the day I wanted to pick it up- and discovered I had ordered the cake for one day LATER than I wanted. I didn’t think they’d be able to help- it wasn’t their fault- but instead they told me they could get it done for me in a few hours if I didn’t mind the design being a little incomplete. I agreed and thanked them a ton- it’s a party for 20 people! And then when I went to pick it up, I discovered they had sent someone to a different store to pick up the cake decorations I needed just to make sure I got the cake I ordered- an ENTIRE DAY early!! I am so pleased and just blown away that they did this for us when it was clearly my mistake. Amazing customer service: thank you so much!!

Im a frequent shopper because I live local. I tend to shop elsewhere though. Id come in more often but there is a variety of staff that can often be unpleasant. I will note that there are also a handful of pleasant staff as well. I try to check out with them if I can. This store has more than enough unique offerings.

Take down the butcher counter sign that says you’re happy to do special cuts. Every time I go there’s only one employee who can only pull product from the case. The least you could do is post the hours of when customers can expect this service. Or better yet, train that lone employee how to pull out a slab of beef and slice off a steak.

Rather small location with limited merchandise, no cosmetics, no beauty items at all really. I visited in the month of October & barely any Halloween merchandise was available, not from being picked over or sold out, but from small limited selection. The store needs a Safeway facelift like the other stores

Clean store with really good variety and prices. The produce section is incredibly large and always well stocked, along with Beer. Its fantastic. My only complaint really would have to do with how the rush hour times are handled. Clearly there are not many casheirs able to usher people in and out in a timely manner. Sometimes this makes the entire trip to the grocery store take well over two hours, which is frustrating after a long day. Many of the chashiers are teenagers and quite a few of them have had an attitude, especially close to closing time.Otherwise, the pros outweigh the cons. My advice is to shop at off days and off hours. Go at night and youll be in and out. Lord help you if youre thinking of going on Friday, Saturday or anytime on Sunday when church gets out.

I just moved to the area. I have been to this store 4 times. I have walked out without buying anything every time. Every time I have gone for certain things they are out of them. This is the worst stocked Safeway/Albertons Ive seen. I frequently shop at 2 Albertsons in the Hillsboro area near my job and they are low on certain items like every other store but not like the Safeway in Wilsonville. It looks like Freddies across the freeway is my go to store now.

Common goods are frequently out of stock, over priced, or tagged incorrectly. But the staff is great and it just doesnt feel right to shop anywhere else.

Absolutely absurd prices! Theyre products are not that much better than their competition. Sorry, but not the place to shop if youre a middle class family on a budget.

Easy to find what you need, and employees are more than happy to assist. The store produce is well taken care of and meat department always well stocked. Check out time isnt too bad checkers are friendly and quick. Deli is also very clean and they change the deli hot food and replace with fresh quickly. Im very impressed with this store.

This once treasured local grocer is now part of a huge corporate chain. And surprisingly its better than ever. The employees are wonderful and the quality of the produce, meats & seafood, deli products - all top notch.

I went shopping here during the mandate to wear masks and allow 6 feet between people. I was nearly done shopping and an employee walked up on me, one foot or less distance. I asked to allow me 6 feet. He left and another employee that he was chatting with, approached me also Not giving me 6 feet. I asked him for 6 feet. I stated that I was only shopping to pick up necessities for the grandchildren and myself. As I was undergoing chemo. He started yelling at me and involved other shoppers. Also threatened to kick me out of the store. I left my cart and went out to my car. I called the manager. She was not very understanding or empathetic. She didn’t even offer to help me by ringing up the items in my cart. I left and went to Freddie’s.

The place is clean and the staff is great.

Safeway is a top grocery store you look around and enjoy your shopping experience. Most everything cost a little more but you are kind of in a way a(upscale) store. Do you feel the same at your Store?.

Inbought a gallon of orange juice and it was leaki on my way out i told e cashier and he just handed me bag. Very rude didnt care. I get it your burnt out grow up dont take it out on customers. Waste if miney live close but now ill just drive to fred meyer.

Simple and clean. This Safeway like many others is located at a plaza with plenty of parking space. The employees are friendly and they try to have enough lanes open to attend customers faster.

They refused to process my transaction with mobile payment because my name didnt appear on the virtual card, despite the fact that it appears on the account and my thumbprint unlock the card/app. I understand they need to watch out for fraud, but that doesnt excuse them from not understanding how to verify modern payment methods.

They have passion fruit Gatorade here. Cant find it anywhere else.

I did prefer the supermarket prior to the Safeway buying it but I guess I am used to the safeway there by now. They retained most of the staff too.

Miss Lambs. The bakery at this Safeway doesnt even begin to compare to Lambs. Its just not a good bakery, service sucks as well as options and selection for personalized items. The meat usually isnt stocked until late morning several hours after they open as well as several items throughout the store. Very expensive to unless you get personalized deals those are pretty good sometimes.

Excellent staff, service, sales, very clean

The systems were running really slow I was told I couldnt get 20.00 cash back because all cards were running as credit and the lottery ticket machine was out of paper and apparently there was no one there who knew how to change it.

The store is pretty decent nothing out of the ordinary except 3 out of 5 times Ive gotten fruit and got home to eat it I have seen mold on my kiwis and blueberries and grapes and the fairlife milk I got recently was brand new and when I opened it, the smell was gnarly and it wasnt even past the expiration date... So just make sure you check your products before you buy it other then that great store...

Safeway is most expensive - also plays pricing games on us by marking produce lower then how it scans at checkout. 🤬

We enjoy the variety available at Safeway and that they are typically well stocked. The sales prices rarely match the value that you can find at other neighborhood grocery stores, but if you are looking for something very specific, youll probably find it here.

My favorite grocery store. Dont like to shop anywhere else. Everything they sell is fresh and their fruit selection is amazing and clean. The Employees are so so so nice. They have personal coupons on the just U app and they give you special discounts on stuff you buy all the time. 5/5 would recommend.

This Safeway in Wilsonville was like a breath of fresh air. The employees there were very helpful, professional, and courteous. This Safeway is head and shoulders above the mean Safeway in Gresham on highland Avenue. There, no one wants to help you and all they want to do is accuse you of shoplifting. That is why I did not go to a Safeway for about a year because I was told by one of their employees that I was not welcome back to Safeway and that if I did come into a Safeway I would be trespassing. Now, mind you, I am going on 73 years old and am a paraplegic in an electric wheelchair. The Gresham Safeway is ridiculous! Thank God I am near a friendly Safeway in Wilsonville.

I went in around 9 am this morning to get flowers for a dear friend and coworker of 25 years who is retiring on my 30 minute break. There were a variety of beautiful arrangements, but most had some that needed flowers refreshed/replaced beings they were costly. I needed help and there was a male manager and a female employee standing right by me that were touching each other, laughing, looking at cell phone pics, whispering, which really looked very inappropriate for the workplace but also made me feel that Covid is not important with this manager. They both seen me, and it was obvious I needed assistance. I was finally able to get someone after 10 minutes or more who pulled a great young man from produce who helped me find a beautiful and fragrant bouquet.

Friendly people, nicely sized and very close to where I live.

Sherwood Safeway still the best. I like it there. Good job Safeway employees.

Fully stocked and clean store

Safeway has mega deals on certain days it seems and more in the evenings. However, their variety of meats and poultry are almost completely absent in the Wilsonville location compared to the NE Salem location. Lately, Wilsonville only has, if youre lucky, a few packs of pork, beef, chicken. This is disappointing because I really dont want to travel out just to go grocery shopping. Hopefully theyll restock soon. Dont know if the pandemic has affected supply.

Veggies, meats, and fruits seem to be fresh. Prices seem to be reasonable. They do a good job keeping the store clean

Check out lady smoked so much, all my groceries reek of stale tobacco. Now my apartment smells of cigarettes. Can you imagine that? A person smoking so much that they make a place theyve never been in smell of cigarettes? At least wash your hands. Jesus.

Limited space = limited supply. Dairy case is half full. Dont expect to find your exact product. Meat and Seafood counter is limited. Produce is limited. The store staff knows the challenge.

Very disappointed in displayed pricing.Purchased a bakery item that was listed as 2 for 1, so I purchased 2.Cash register rang it up at individual items. When questioned on the 2 for 1 buy she stated the sale ended but they didnt want to spend the time removing labels. So I was being charged full price.Had I known I was being charged full price I wouldnt have purchased them at all. On top of that the items were stale which was why they were trying to move them out if the store.This store is better than this.

I only shop there if its for a client or a quick dash in, and only use self check out. The day time ladys, checkers are not very nice. In fact pretty rude.

Theres not a ton of grocery stores in the Wilsonville area, so Safeway is always pretty busy. That being said, they have done a fantastic job adapting to accommodate their customers during the pandemic. Staff is friendly and helpful as always, I am glad that such great folks are working so hard to keep this essential business up and running smoothly

This is my home grocery store. I am here several times per week. Today, Sept 12, the severe smoke from the fires was overshadowing the frustrations I felt with COVID-19. I made small talk with the cashier when I was checking out. This smoke is terrible, huh? The cashier said, I hear rain is on the way. . .Its nice the way people are coming together to help each other through this.His positivity reset me and I realized I needed to change my attitude; I had been looking at the glass half empty.This is what a neighborhood grocery store is. So much more than groceries, its community.

Older store but fully stocked with everything I needed for Thanksgiving.

The produce is hit or miss. The bakery items made in-store often look rather carelessly made, and I think the quality is low even for a chain grocery store bakery. The rest of the store has a pretty good variety of staples, quality brands, and vegetarian/vegan options.

Safeway is just Safeway. It speaks for itself

Safeway is a great small town grocery store experience. They have a small amount of everything that you need. The staff were polite and helpful. The layout is easy to understand and if need help the staff will direct you. The parking is good most days of course weekends are busy.

Go to any other safeway, real management only is there for a few hours on Thursday and the teenagers could care less about customer service, there notorious for being lazy and constantly Miss-Advertise the products, the meat section has gotten somewhat better but the customer is Never right, you ask for a Manager and all youll get is some stoned kid telling you the managers not there. I will never go back its to unprofessionally ran, and for those prices Hell No.

Its gotten better over the last year or two. Prices are a little higher than Fred Meyer though. But staff is friendlier and produce is fresher than a couple of years ago.

We have been in here quite a few times now. This last visit was very disappointing. It is a nice little store. The produce section is always nice and well stocked. It is hard to catch someone in the meat/seafood case as there is never any one there. It is a well laid out store. Getting through the checkout line this time was really disappointing. As the cashier was too busy talking to two other store employees, and she was complaining about something. The other two knew there were people in line but she didnt attempt to help us until her conversation was finished. We then had to talk to her first before she even acknowledged us. This is very disappointing for a Safeway/Albertsons store as they usually have some of the nicest employees out there. So really dont know what happened in this store!

If you have any hesitation or phobias about shopping safely with social distancing...this is not the Safeway to go to. The one is Lake Oswego on A Street is much more organized. When I arrived there were no clean carts, no baskets, no attendant and no hand-wipes. The one way aisle signs on the floor where the opposite direction of the stay 6 feet away floor graphics in the aisle. This means people approaching from the other end of the aisle think they are going in the right direction. Safeway staff were not heading the 6 ft away rule and brushed up against me in the aisle. In addition, the check out lines were crowded and no one way wiping down the conveyor belts. Other stores are taking this more seriously as well as shoppers. Many people were not wearing mask. I am not normally concerned with this but at this point in time, I too want the country to reopen and adhere to some preliminary guideline in order to stay healthy.
