I called in and Mike answered the phone. Felt right away I had a professional on the other end. That was a great feeling. See, I have a Black Ford Sport Track that was the last new Vehicle I bought from my Father who was a Ford Dealership GM, before he passed a few years ago. I love this truck and at a out 180,000, put a new drive shaft and transmission in it. Unfortunately the previous mechanics and transmission guys I took it to, could not resolve a serious issue, and I had started to worry. Mike got me in right away, and within a couple hours his team had diagnosed and corrected the issue Completely. That was three days ago, Shadow is running Better than New. I know my dad is smiling up there, and you know I am. Thank you Mike and the team, for a job Very Well done!

Very kind and professional. I brought two vehicles on the same day and Michael and his crew were kind enough wait for me to jump the second vehicle and come back with that, after going home with the first. I was presented with detailed estimates at every step. Will certainly come back. A good mechanic is hard to find, but they can be found here.

The service and repairs that were needed were diagnosed quickly, and completed in exceptional time. Michael was really helpful with the appointment booking, and constant updates. The prices were fair and I will be bringing my vehicles here for any service needed based on this visit. Highly recommend. Just be sure to follow the signage and use the side door.

Thoroughly Impressed with the Professionalism and the Service of the New Management Under Michael Macoff and his Crew Jim and Ricky.I have been complaining of the dim headlights for months went to the dealership where I bought my car they just replaced bulbs still dim even the high beams were dim. I went in and paid the $50 dollars to have my transmission tested...it felt like they only spent a few minutes checking my car and immediately told me i needed a new transmission, after getting a second opinion it turned out my 4 wheel drive knob was turned to halfway engaged and there was nothing wrong with the transmission....so glad i got a second opinion before i wasted alot more than the 50 i already wasted for nothingt

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer with about 153,000 miles. Around 150,000 miles my original transmission went bad. Had it replaced at a certain shop with a Jaspers remanufactured. It lasted about 2000 miles. Ended up taking it to AAMCO on S. Loudoun St. in Winchester. Jason and all of the crew were superb. They helped tremendously with the parts and labor warranty, and did a very detailed inspection of not only the items pertaining to the operation of the transmission, but of the vehicle itself.Ive driven about 800 miles since picking it up. At this point with the first replacement, I had noticed several issues. This time I havent had a single issue.Jason, if you read this, thank you to you and your crew. Job well done. I highly recommend your shop to anyone needed quality work.

Jason and his crew did an amazing job on my vehicle in a efficient and timely manner! My car was unbearable to drive so I took it in expecting it would take a few days if not weeks to get an appointment.They fit me in SAME day when they were already busy and found a crack in my Y-pipe and fixed it within 2 hours and I was back on the road!! I had a really good experience with AAMCO Transmissions. Very friendly service and also very knowledgeable. Jason is a fantastic manager who goes out of his way to make sure you get what you need, done right! I had the transmission replaced on my 2006 Ford Crown Vic, and the car now drives perfectly with no issues. The 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty is also a huge perk, as they will stand behind the product and work.I want to say thanks to Jason and his team for getting me back on the road in a very professional and enjoyable way!

Last year my transmission went in my car right before Christmas. Jason and his mechanic team treated me with respect, kindness and did everything they could to get me back in my vehicle asap. They were in touch with me and helped ease the process. Because of their outstanding service and family like attitude they have a customer for life! I go to them for everything!! 100% recommended!!

Best costumer experience ever! I had to get my AC system recharged. They did that no problem, but found out I needed a new fan for it to work properly. They were able to price match a fan they had found in stock to one I had found online and had it delivered within 15 minutes! Then they also were able to get me in early morning before I had to leave on a trip to do a re-check after I installed my fan. Only after they insured that my system was working properly did they charge me, and on top of that, the bill was significantly less than what I was quoted over the phone. I want to thank the Manager Jason and his whole team for having superior customer service!

My car was the victim of flash flooding. It caused the transmission to not shift properly and activated the check engine light.Winchester AAMCO scheduled my car for service in a timely manner, evaluated it the same day, and made contact with me and my insurance company.It turned out the shifting issues stopped when the car dried out and the check engine light was water related and was cleared and did not return.AAMCO did not try to sell me any additional services or recommend unneeded repairs.Thank You for being a honest professional car care center!

Our car appeared to be missing/slipping/misfiring, even after we had another garage while on vacation diagnose the problem as bad spark plugs. After the spark plug fix, the issue got slightly better, but at that point we thought it might be the transmission, so thats why we took it to AAMCO. They ended up diagnosing the problem as a stuck caliper (which didnt make sense based on the issue we were experiencing, but we took their word for it). So...they fix the caliper issue, replace the rear brakes, and do a transmission flush. They say they took it for a test drive and the problem is fixed. Well...it wasnt, so when we then took them for another test drive to still feel it, they said theyd look at it further. They call back the next day and say they dont know whats wrong, and say it may be a programming issue that the dealership has to look at. So, thats where we go next, and they find the problem was a bad coil. That should have been a basic issue that AAMCO could have found and solved, and now, we really wonder what the brake issue really was that they worked on for us. Extremely disappointed with their service and knowledge there.

I made an appointment to fix the shaking when I applied the brakes. There was a miscommunication and afterward the problem wasn’t fixed. They offered me to bring it back in so they could fix the problem. Great customer service! Thank you for making this process so easy!

I’ve never experienced such genuine customer service! Not only did I feel cared for by each team member during my visit, but the services provided were very thorough and so henceforth, I know that I can comfortably leaving my car in the hands of these talented service providers. As I reflect, I can honestly say that every aspect of my experience here was A-1, top quality, 5-star, unequaled ...I could go on.lol These guys have my stamp of approval.

If I could get no stars I would. went to AAMCO in Winchester to get service done on my truck. While I was getting my truck serviced, they recommended that I get new front brakes and rotors. Two months later I took my truck to get a state inspection done and I was told it would not pass due to my front brakes and rotors. That shop replaced them and showed me and gave me the rotors that were so called replaced. I then took them down to AAMCO and showed them that they did not get replaced. NATHAN the manager refused to give me a refund. He was extremely rude and ridiculous and asked if I wanted to step outside to deal with this issue!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

Dealt with Jeff and Donnie. Couldn’t have been a better experience. I was quoted 400$+ for a repair elsewhere. Aamco was very reasonable and very helpful with my repair especially in these kind of times. If you are looking for a good place to get work done, I would recommend aamco.

I dropped my Dodge Grand Caravan off at AAMCO of Winchester, VA today very close to closing time (4:50pm) Jason assisted me and my wife with filling out the card and he assured us he would call us and notify us every step of the way, he was extremely kind and well mannered, his customer service skills were top notch. Jason even stayed after closing time to finish talking to us, I look forward to hearing from him when the service team get time to check out our vehicle. I did not get a chance to talk to any of the technicians but from reading the reviews posted on here I dont think I have anything to worry about. I will update this review when I pick my van up in hopefully a few days with the rest of the experience.

I got ahold of Jason and told him the issue I was having with my car he got me in and out within a couple days! He didn’t jump to replacing parts until his team knew what was wrong. I would say the most trustworthy and pleasant experience I have ever had with a car shop. 10/10 recommend going they will take care of you.

So happy with the customer service i received today. We had a long day full of many challenges exactly the same day we were on out way to Colorado for a graduation. This review is regarding Invoice 1002585, for service given on September 20, 2019 at AAMCO in Winchester, VA. My vehicle failed state inspection due to a faulty engine mount which had been installed by AAMCO in Virginia Beach, VA, on August 26, 2019. Service Advisor, Jeff Cramer provided expeditious and courteous service to make the needed repair under warranty and at no cost to me. Technician, Keith Dawe promptly completed the job and within a couple hours I was able to get my vehicle re-inspected and passed shortly thereafter. I appreciate this level of service and commend these gentlemen for their attention to excellent work and exemplary customer care. I will definitely recommend this AAMCO location and use it again for future car care and services.

Keith was the tech who worked on my vehicle and was able to explain the exact problems and what needed to be corrected, they fixed my exhaust leak the same day. Got stranded (I’m from out of town) in Winchester with a faulty transmission 30 min before they were supposed to close. They stayed open to diagnose my problem and drove us back to our other car in one of their personal vehicles. Great customer service and knowledgeable servicemen!

I live in Fairfax, VA but had my truck serviced in Winchester. I havent had much success with various repair shops around the DC metro area as it seems just about everyone upsells. Also, most of the service itself is mediocre to poor, even for American made vehicles like mine. The Aamco Winchester crew was able to diagnose a problem no shop in the NOVA community could. In fact, they discovered a faulty part recently installed by a highly rated NOVA shop. I was treated extremely well by the Aamco manager--best customer service manager anywhere. I wish I could rate them higher than five stars.

These guys went the extra mile (pun intended) for me today. I needed my utility trailer so someone could borrow it without fear of getting a ticket. This place is a joke. Took my car in and paid over $1800, drove it home and as soon as I got home the check engine light was right back on. I called and told them the issue and they told me to bring it back in, so I did. I picked it back up the next day and the check engine light is STILL on and my car has shut off twice.... they put over 40 miles on my car “test driving” it and assured me that my car was running great and everything was all good. Needless to say my car is running worse than it was before I even brought it to them.

Took my car to Aamco and they gave me a fair price to change my clutch...had zero issues...I was fully informed every step of the way and thought that the price was fair based on the market here in the area. They definitely had the lowest quote in comparison to my home state of WV. Couldnt be happier with Kevin and the rest who worked on the car...drove smooth like butter after I got used to the clutch engagement. Will consider aamco for any future work to be done on my car!

I am very thankful I brought my car here. She was making a noise and i knew it was not good. I had previously taken it to the dealership and they had it for a week and said nothing was wrong with it. I took it to Aamco and they found the issue within a couple of hours. They are friendly and they care about their customers. They want to solve the issue and they did. My car runs like new. I am so thankful I brought my car to them. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong but if it does I know I can have piece of mind when I go again. Thanks guys!!!!! You have a customer for life.

We broke down on a Friday evening in Winchester Virginia. Tow truck driver from Combs towing hauled us in to Aamco in Winchester giving them high reviews. Saturday morning I spoke with Jason and he and his techs assessed the situation. He was able to get a part from the local Ford dealer Monday and they stayed late to complete the repairs. Technician Keith did the whole job himself and had us on the road by 530 today. Both Keith and Jason went above and beyond to help us get back to Texas. Thanks to all the Aamco staff. I dropped my car off because my automatic transmission would not shift gears on a car that has 160,000+ miles, I feared it was the transmission and going to cost a lot to fix.Aamco did not try to charge me something I did not need. It ended up being an oil change issue, Jiffy Lube did not drain the oil out of my car during a recent oil change. Jiffy Lube added 5 more quarts of oil which made the car not shift gears. Aamco could have told me anything and charged me for needless repairs but they did not. I will have Aamco do all of my maintenance from here on out. Kevin is the best!!

I took my transmission in to get checked and they said free estimate and wanna charge me 118 dollars for on hour of labor and didnt even give me an estimate first before charging me anything and havent even called to let me know whats wrong with the transmission yet and they are not friendly about anything they had the transmission for three weeks now and have not tried to fix it
