Today was my first time shopping here. I would have given them 10 stars if I could. EXCELLENT customer service. Everyone is very attentive to your needs. I came in to buy my son his football cleats. I had no clue what to get and they helped me find the perfect ones. The price was so much less than I was expecting. I am beyond thrilled and recommend Wilkins to everyone. I love great customer service and Wilkins employees went above and beyond. Thank you for a great shopping experience!

Best shoe store around, the sit and fit showed i was wearing 2 sizes bigger to get the width. If they dont have something in stock they will get it for you quickly and its always fun to hit the walking mall. Would recommend anyone having trouble finding good shoes for working on concrete all day

Signs all along RT 522 stating big and wide shoes. I called and ask if they had a good selection of mens wide loafers and sandals. Yes we do. When i got there she showed me 3 pair of sandals and said that that was all they had left. Ask about loafers and she had 1 pair in a medium width. I ask where they were made and when she said China, no way I will ever buy from China. Piss on China.

My husband suffers from Arthritis in his feet and shoes are very painful for him. They took a lot of time to fit him properly and found him a pair of work boots that my husband loved so much, he wore them out of the store. They are also ordering him some sneakers and cowboy boots! Great Service!!!

Brought my son in looking for football cleats, because it was off season I figured we might have a tough time finding some for spring sports. I was very pleased with the selection they had in store, an size ranges. We were helped by the store owner who was very pleasant an friendly as well as knowledgeable of many things. He gave us an amazing discount on the cleats we bought as well as sized an fitted before we left the store to insure perfect fit. Highly recommend an will only purchase cleats from Wilkins in the future.

I have bought shoes here, many times over the years, inclusive of my now 40 yr old sons first Stride Rites. This store is the epitome of a family-owned, hometown business. They have donated to numerous local causes over the years, given discounts to businesses/schools, etc. who partner with them to take care of employees/athletes...even ballerinas. They work with Rehab Practitioners to fit individuals who require footwear which accommodates AFOs or specialized equipment. I have seen them offer some employees to another local business in their personal time of need. Many staff members have worked here for years, and are adept at assisting customers choose stylish, but comfortable shoes. Each visit, Im met with numerous smiles and chit chat. The owners may be family, but staff is definitely extended family!

My adult daughter has a hard to fit shoe size but was able to find quality shoes at Wilkins. The person waiting on her was very helpful and kind.

We travel over an hour to get here from West Virginia, because they measured my children feet properly. My daughter is handicapped and needs special shoe inserts. I was planning on spending over 200 in their store today. Both my children needed to use the restroom. They lied and said they didnt have one.So I asked well what do you use? This wasnt a restroom for me but for my 3 and 5 year old. It was pouring rain and they made us use the bathroom down the block. I will not be returning ever again. Owner son very nasty.

We have bought a ton of shoes at Wilkins over the years, but recently; shoes for field hockey, sneakers, cross country shoes, lacrosse shoes, ballet slippers, etc). That changed indefinitely and we will NEVER be back. Not just that, but we will make sure none of our friends and family do so either. Worst customer service we’ve ever experienced. They’ll remember us as the parents whose daughter almost broke her ankle because they sold us point shoes that were not one, but TWO sizes too big. We had to then go to a dance shop for her to be fitted properly and buy new shoes ($100). I should add that the point shoes we bought here didn’t come with the $4.50 ribbons and elastics which we had to buy separately from them and were shorted because there was only one in the packet - not two. When we returned we asked them to comp us ribbons and elastics for the new shoes we had to buy ($4.50). Additionally the extra strap we were shorted, they charged us $00.75 for! Losing business over $5.25 is just ludicrous. I told the manager (owner’s son) that I would ensure that their store would lose more than $5.25 in business with a single review for his aggressive attitude, bad customer service, and poor judgment.

Ive bought a couple of pairs of shoes here at least. Old fashioned service where they measure your foot and all that stuff. Gentleman who served me had worked there for probably 100 years (OK maybe only 40 or 50 but it was a long time Im sure). Anyhow this is now the only place I can buy Birkenstock shoes of good quality anywhere close to where I live. I plan on going back there real soon. Dont buy them on amazon says leather but thats some kind of scam because only the footbed is leather the straps are plastic. The shoes I bought at Wilkins were both good though. One pair Im still wearing after 15 years of use (maybe not quite that long but probably 10 years anyhow).

The older lady who worked there was very snobby, basically scolded me because I tried in a pair of boots without them helping me (I am not a child nor royalty and can handle my own boots). Then my wife was trying to entertain our kids and was scolded for basically taking up space and touching the shoes also without an employee. Should of went to the workingmans store down the road. I will never shop here again.

I hate doing this because the owner is the nicest person in the world but today he was not there and it showed. First, I got scolded for trying on shoes without a worker helping me but I cannot tell who is a worker and who is a customer because they don’t wear uniforms. Then, they didn’t believe I was going to be able to pay for the cleats I was going to buy as a 17 year old. They asked me 2 times how I was going to pay for them. The first time I thought they were joking but then they asked a second time. Once I told them credit card they made fun of me for using “mommy’s money”. As I checked out and they wouldn’t let me use my coupon either. In my opinion, if you would like people, especially young people, to not shop on the internet and get a much better deal than Wilkins then treat customers with respect. I will never come back after this experience. The workers numbers were 10 and 19.

A staff member at Wilkens Shoecenter pressured my sister to purchase the wrong shoes for track, then the manager refused to give her a refund for the unused shoes. The manager was unpleasant and difficult to work with. My sister came home in tears. Very disappointed in the service at Wilkins Shoecenter. We will not be returning.

The women are rude, the boy working there is nice. Got my shoes there cause I needed them for work the next day, but I will not buy from them again.

Wont stand behind what they say on red wing national acct. Take my business elsewhere, very rude woman talked to on phone and in store.

Stopped in because my husband was looking for athletic shoes. The saleslady we approached was very courteous and helpful and I asked if while he was looking could I use the restroom because my 3 year old told me she needed to go and being newly potty trained can not hold it very long. She said they normally do not have a public restroom but would ask under the circumstances. Her superviser told us no straight to our faces and completely unapologetically told us to go to the thai restaurant a few doors up like we were derelics or something. We walked out and they lost a sale and our future business. Whatever happened to human decency?! Not to mention that the store looks dilapidated and the majority of the styles are not current at all and in my opionion overpriced.
