Ordered propane and was delivered on time. At time of order I ordered 100 gallons of propane. When driver arrived I also stated 100 gallons of propane. Driver stopped pumping at 159 gallons. He did tell me when I got the ticket that someone errd by not locking the 100 gallons in the computer. I called Quarels who after investigating admits it was there mistake and did give me .50 a gallon off on the 59 gallons additional I received. Quarles is a huge company that makes huge profits and thats what they seem to care most about. Id recommend anyone ordering to double check their orders as there seems to be no checks and balances on order.

Ordered propane on will call 10 days ago when you should, was promised 3-5 days delivery, here it is 10 days and I am out out heat with a 4 year child in the house!!!! They have our money with no solutions besides I can see what we can do tomorrow!!!! WE HAVE TALKED TO 3 PEOPLE WITH NO HELP. I also have a account with a senior living facility were I get a couple thousands of gallons of desiel fuel delivered for our facility!!! IF THEY CAN NOT DELIVER PROPANE TO A NORMAL HOUSEHOLD ON TIME THEY WILL NOT BE THE COMPANY I WILL TRUST TO TAKE CARE OF 87 SENIOR RESIDENTS!! ALL OF OUR BUISNESS WILL GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

Been on auto refill for a long time now. Ran out of gas on the 13th called and talked to someone who told us it would be delivered on the 15th. No gas. Called again same story, it’ll be here the 16th. Same thing again over and over again and here we are on the 19th with a delivery scheduled again for tomorrow. No heat and no stove along with 3 adults a 2 year and all of the animals. Way to go you guys! Keep up the great F’N work!

Buyer beware! If you are looking for new propane service do not use Quarles. Let me tell you my experience with them.Quarles’s propane prices are nearly a dollar more than several other suppliers in the Winchester area. To get Quarles’s price match guarantee, you need to have the other company’s price in writing on their letter head. Other companies are unlikely to give you this, and Quarles know it. A bill with the other company’s price and address does not count as that price may not be a true price.I decided to cancel my service with Quarles. When I called to cancel my service, I was first quoted a price of $4,506.13 to purchase their tank so I could go to a new provider. I complained about that, and the next quote was $1,596.21. I asked how much to just come get their tank it was told it would be approximately $1,200 to remove it with no restoration of the yard.I was also told that Quarles sells a high quality product And the other companies may not. Their trucks fill up at the same distribution point as all the rest of the local companies.And now this morning I called to find out why I had not received my September auto fill. Somehow I had been switched to the refill one year after last fill up. My last fill up was last February. It would have been mighty cold around here before I had a full tank.Buyer beware!

The lady Laurie I spoke with was very kind and courteous. She was very knowledgeable. She made sure a understood every thing that was involved with setting up an account and and the delivery of the propane.

Due to a some poor organization I moved into a new rental with an empty propane tank and no contract for fueling in place, all at the exact time that a freezing cold front moved into my area. Needless to say I called Quarles in a less then positive mood but found things far less irritating after speaking with Mrs. Laurie C. who helped me get set up with my first use of propane. I find nothing ever works out easily however her positive attitude and outgoing nature calmed an otherwise harsh situation and left me in a far more optimistic mood. She has been the kind of customer service that just can’t be faked, the kind of person who just generally cares about trying to make the process manageable and pain free. I cannot thank her enough and I now look forward to dealing with a good service for my heat.

I have been using this company for years and have recommended them numerous times to other people. After being told today that I will not receive heating fuel until next Monday because I ordered it this Monday and there is a 5 business day policy on all orders, I will not be using their services next winter. We are almost out of heating oil and this company does not care. They are sticking to their 5 business day policy. To add insult to injury, I have seen their heating oil delivery truck in my neighborhood 2x this week.At the beginning of the current winter season, the customer service reps would ask how much oil you currently had in your tank and would call you with a delivery date or could tell you the exact day you were due for delivery. This has all changed from the beginning of the season to now. It is very disappointing that Quarles has chosen to drop the policy regarding the importance of their customers. As with every other company, they are only in it for the money with no concern of the clients needs. I will be looking for a new company to satisfy both our propane and heating oil needs in the future.

Laurie was thorough and explained important information very clearly. Danny, the fuel delivery employee, was efficient, professional and is a great asset for Quarles. I have confidence that this quality customer service will continue.

During the cold freeze winter 2019, I ran out of fuel oil. I called for a delivery and she said I was not on automatic delivery and will have to wait a week or two. It was 3 degrees outside and way below freezing for nearly two weeks. I had great service from them over the years but being a loyal customer no longer counts. SHAFTED...Southern States fueled me the next day.

Schedule oil delivery for home and they failed to show up twice, which led to incurring two service charges for furnace work. I was left with no oil, no working furnace (which needs oil to start-up), and a huge credit card charge for oil that was never delivered. While they did refund me the cost of the service charges, I could never get a clear answer to why I never received a delivery. I went elsewhere for oil.Bottom line, the customer service seemed to care, but theres an utter lack of responsibility by others, including management. I simply cant conduct myself in that manner in my work, so I expect the same level of service from others.

Much more expensive than Hunt Country Propane. Ive called several times to comparison shop for propane before deliveries, and Quarles is consistently 50-70 cents per gallon over-priced. Thats $500 more to fill up my tank!!! No Thank you!
