Communication was 100%. Was up front about the time it would take to diagnose and repair the issue at hand. Sent me a written estimate before any repairs, which most shops don’t do. I will definitely be back for service or future repairs. Explained the repairs that were being made, so that I could understand them.

When I read the post from Plugged In, I felt compelled to respond. I would have probably taken the information into consideration if I never used AM (Affordable Motors) myself. My ATV could not start after 8 years of being in storage - Carburetor got clogged. Wasted $$$$ at other places that could not fix it. I almost sold it as-is due to frustration until I took it to Affordable Motors. Now, let me say these guys are not cheap!!! but my ATV has been running better than when I first purchased it. And it only took a little over two months to get the ATV back because they had to order new parts. Still running strong!!!!They did such a great job on my ATV, I am going to have them work on my bike (2009 suzuki Boulevard M50 VZ800)Hope this helps someone else!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT use this business for any TYPE of work. They had my atv for a year with NO work done.If you want your atv to work & run perfectly & as well be assembled correctly, PAY the money somewhere else & NOT a cheap service like this.

We went all out here. Charged a fair amount, was honest about the diagnose and repairs he done. Please listen to his advice, we visited another shop here in town and it was terrible. First off, we came to Affordable Motosports, him and his wife explained the process and what might need to be done. Was a little out of budget after gathering prices.Instead we took our bike to another shop here in town. Told us we just needed sparkplugs, coolant and a oil change. Let me just say this, if it’s to good to be true it probably is. We went with the other shops advice, since it was more on our side of the budget. The other shop charged us for the repairs, but it still didn’t run. We took it back to them twice and each time it was worse. Note

The worst customer service and very unaffordable. Thay charged me 500 just for an estimate. Also paid something called a rush fee to get my quad fix fast and didnt get it back for almost 4 months.Quad dose run good after thay charged me almost 1,400.00 for basically a super tune and I still had to jump it at pick up and replace the battery. NEVER AGAIN

Well did and treated me with respect. Repaired my motorcycle same day. I’ll be back for tires and service when needed.

Worst ATV mechanic I ever had. They said affordable and they charge $120 dollars an hour of labor. (this is not affordable) I brought my raptor 350 and he charged me $355 dollars and they didn’t do any work to it all they did was diagnostic. At the same Time I brought my raptor 660 and he was charged me $130 dollars just to run a diagnostic, and he told me to fix it it was going to cost over $800. I got it fixed at another shop and I was only charged $180 for parts and labor. The owner try’s to hold your bike for a longer time than normal so they keep telling you that it needs more work. This is the worst place I have ever been, I do not recommend that you bring any bike here.

They have fixed 2 things for our family so far. If you call and they don’t answer, they stay super busy. Go by there and talk to them. No regrets.

Got my new tires and chain put on for a good price, and they got it done fast. Ill definitely be returning in the future, and will be recommending them.

Honest and professional. We have been riding for around 10 years and have visited numerous of shops. This is one of the best shops around. Dont take your bike anywhere else. We visited another shop in Winder that couldnt fix it.This is how it went.Bike had a issue. Dropped it off and told us up front what the diagnose charge was going to be. We agreed. He diagnosed it the same week and charged exactly what he said he would. Sent us a estimate by email and text. The estimate was very easy to see what was being done. We approved the estimate and he called us next week to come and get it. We have the cooling system electrical circuit fixed, full service and a new set of Michelin tires installed.Our favorite part about this was the text. We stay so busy raising kids and working, its not always easy to answer the phone to discuss. The email and text made this best.He comes highly recommended.Update. Since then we have taken him our 4 Atvs and 1 dirt bike with no issues.

I went to 4 places. Two in this town, one in Athens and another in Loganville. I had no spark. This was the only guy that could fix my bike. I spent over $1,000.00 at the other 4 shops combined. Richard fixed this bike in less than one hour for under $200.00. We have 6 bikes and 2 atvs, we have found our new mechanic. Please spare yourself the trouble and just go here. Thanks again Richard.

Simply enough courteous, low prices, and amazing work. This is THE SHOP. If your tired of having to go back to your mechanic then maybe you should try this shop. Ive returned because of the outstanding performance, Ive moved 45min further away and still will go out my way to get my bike there. I highly recommend you go there. I called the day after Christmas about my sons new dirt bike that was leaking fuel out of the overflow tube. Richard said to bring it in and after looking at the possible issue, he gave me an estimate and said he would have it back to me in a day or two. He texted me the next day that the bike was fixed and ready to be picked up.When I picked it up he said a small piece of fuel line material had gotten into the float. As we were loading the bike he notice that the fuel filter had some material in it.He did not have the size of fuel line or the filter, but offered to install them for free if I picked up the parts.Richard was honest, capable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him and his work.

I bring a honda dirtbike to get running pay 1200...an its still not running have a buddy pick it up mind you...you beg me to bring it back so u can fix offer it back with a box of parts didnt give me a bill...I asked for u to put back an told him to call 6months he stole my money an my bike. Trustworthy...this was all over a years time.....buiness must be slow for him to pull that move no emails no calls nothing.....you havent heard the last from me CROOK......

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE HAVING MY BIKE FIXED AT HIS SHOP!! My bike wasnt fixed when I picked it up after I paid over $1,200 which was at his shop for 4 months. I had to take it to another CERTIFIED KTM DEALER who really knew what they were doing to fix all of his mistakes. Waste of money. Dont go there!!! I even had a police officer saying to me personally that hes bad business and dont why he is still open.

Got a diagnosis on my valves and was told that I needed a valve job because my valves were too tight. Had them put my Atv back together, got a second opinion from a mechanic that I know and was shown that I had a lot more space to shim. Also, when I picked my Atv up from affordable it wasn’t put back together properly. Bolts were loose and fuel pump wasn’t even hooked back up. In case you’re wondering why I didn’t use the mechanic I knew in the beginning, it’s because he’s 80 miles away but it was worth the drive.Now the owner has responded to my review and some of the things he’s stating are NOT TRUE.1. I didn’t tell him that I didn’t take my Atv to another shop. That is what he assumes because the other place I know of was referred by a friend. This place has done work for other guys that I ride with and has even done rebuilds. I haven’t heard any complaints about his work so I took that 80 mile drive to have my work done.2. I also didn’t tell him that my shims were replaced with a shim half it’s size. I told him that there was a 240 in the Atv and it was taken down to a 230.3. I didn’t tell him that my Atv wasn’t maintained for 5 years. What I told him was that I haven’t had any problems with my Atv starting until now and that has been about 5 years.4. Why didn’t Affordable Motorsports address the issue of not putting my Atv back together properly? Fuel pump being disconnected, bolts not even tightened properly.

The worst place you could ever take ypur bike to. There is no talent here tellin me my wheels needs a whe new jug when all it neede was a tune up and carb cleaning.Do yourself a favor GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TJESE GUYS ARE JUST OUT RO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DO NOTHING

A bad experience with an organization is one thing, but an unethical organization is another. This shop does not provide quality work at all, and will take customers money before you know the repair is not complete. You also may loose parts from your machine, So help others not to loose their money to these folks. Report to BBB, let your social media friends know about them, and also the local news.
